Guest Reviews
- Chris (9/5): Had a lovely stay at Hockham. Was a comfortable and clean property - we will return. - Lovely property in a decent location. Property was lovely and clean and very comfortable. There was a jar of tea/ coffee and all the main comforts. Was a lovely picturesque walk from the property to the quay/ centre through a heath area. Didn’t drive but there was plenty of parking at the top of the road. Not essential but would have been good to have a hair dryer and a fan as it was very warm.

- John (8/5): The Appartment was value for money, comfortable, overall very good. I can recommend staying there. - The roads where the property is located are narrow. There was enough car parking areas available in the immediate area. The appartment was clean throughout. The beds were comfortable The shower cubicle was small and the shower controls weren't that good. Not enough cutlery, towels could have been larger. The stairway from the appartment entrance is steep, coud do with some sort of hinged gate at the top, to prevent inadvertantly (e.g. half asleep) falling down the stairs.
- Philip (6/5): The bed was so uncomfortable that we left on the Sunday night rather than the Tuesday morning. - It was clean and tidy.
The shower was nice. There was no welcome pack. We had to go to a supermarket to get tea, coffee, sugar and milk. It would have been nice if those things were there.
Also our bed was too low and very uncomfortable.
There was a lot of noise from neighbours.
- Powell (8/5): Very good -
- Wayne (8/5): very nice - My stay at Hockam was very nice everything you need for a short/long break or work narrow streets
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - The apartment was clean and well equipped. Warm and cosy. Steep stairs.
- Elisabeth (5/5): It suited our needs as we only needed a place to sleep and shower. - It suited our needs as we were working nearby. There was no extractor in the bathroom. We would have liked some heating in the bathroom. There were no instructions for heating - the bathroom radiator needed bleeding. Shower head too low for taller person.
One of us did not find the bed comfortable.
There were no teaspoons!
- Francis (5/5): Would not stay there again as it was not cheap either. - It was well equipped and had separate bedrooms The comfort of the beds, especially the single one was very poor;dubious stains on the double mattress; broken shower head; mould in places; overall old and tired decor and furniture
- Hanif (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (9/5): Thank you. We appreciated the late booking and ease of access . - Kitchen sink mixer (tap) too much spray and no hot water . Boiled kettle to wash dishes
- Roy (9/5): Superb -
- Nortcliffe (8/5): Very good -
- Vytautas (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (7/5): Good -
