Guest Reviews
- Graham (8/5): Better than a hotel room and cheaper. - Everything needed for a long stay. Quiet area with its own parking. Nothing to complain about.
- Mandy (7/5): - Lovely and clean Too many unnecessary decorative items making it feel a bit overwhelming.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Terri (10/5): -
- Markus (10/5): Sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht - Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen mit Allem was es braucht
- Ian (10/5): Amazing Property! Highly Recommended! - The hosts of this property have clearly put a great deal of thought, time and expense into making this a delight for guests. This is the nicest property I have ever rented. Upon arrival the cottage was lovely and warm. The kitchen facilities were second to none with every conceivable utensils supplied, along with quality appliances. Likewise, the furnishing were also of an extremely high quality. The hosts, like many, could have did this on the cheap, but this host has taken great pride in what they give their guests and that is very evident throughout the entire property. Location was amazing too, just a few minutes drive from Buckie/shops/fuel station etc I would possibly suggest that some curtains are put up in the bedrooms for added privacy as the roller blinds don't quite go right to the edges, and the property is surrounded by other very close cottages. I also found the shower cubicle very small. I am not a large person and if I found it tight I feel guests of a more generous body composition would really struggle. Looking at the bathroom there does appear to be scope to rejig and make better use of space to allow a larger shower unit. I feel its important to be honest about these things, as its clear this host cares about what they give their guests and my comments here are only to help the host rather than criticise them.
- Darren (10/5): Will be back. - Just perfect for what we needed. Extremely well equipped.

- CYNTHIA (10/5): Home from home - a lovely stay in a very comfortable house. - We loved our stay at Westview. The house was spotlessly clean, very well-equipped with comfortable beds. easy to find and easy to park. The house is close to Buckie and Cullen and Tesco is 2 minutes away. A perfect location. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks to our hosts. Nothing
- Aimee (10/5): - Great holiday stay. Fab location for us, spotlessly clean. Thank you!
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Alex (8/5): Great base for Moray Coast - Well equipped, very clean and comfy cottage. Great communication from our host. Perfect for accessing the Moray Coast and surrounds.
- Christine (10/5): Thank you once again Kristina for our stay at your cottage love it xx - It’s a lovely place to stay clean and is very local to where we were going this is my second visit and would highly recommend it xx Nothing
- Alaine (10/5): Exceptional - Property was very comfortable and super equipped. Lots of extras coffee pods, cleaning products fresh milk, te, coffee, sugar all supplied Busy road and the front of the property.
- David (9/5): We stayed 2 nights to attend a wedding and couldn’t fault it - Lovely house with everything you need We has a bit of fun finding it
- joan (8/5): Suited are needs. - Too near the main road. Proximity to main road
- Claudia (9/5): Beautiful, comfy and cosy house - This house is a real gem. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. We also appreciated the opportunity to sit in the garden, as the weather was beautiful during our stay. It is a very comfortable and cosy place. Unfortunately, the road is very close by, and we're not used to road noise, so it bothered us quite a lot. It's fine once all the windows are closed, but it was very hot during the days we were there, so we really had to open the windows. The noise was also very disturbing when sitting in the garden. However, there's nothing the owners can do about that, and it depends on whether you're used to road noise or not.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Had a fantastic time. The property was excellent, had lovely garden. - Perfect location for the reason we where ther
Visiting family & friends. Nothing not to like
- Carole (9/5): Very good value - Comfortable cottage with lovely views and great garden with parking. Exceptionally clean. Easy to drive to some beautiful little fishing villages. Kitchen was very well equipped and you could live here easily. Smart TV and great WiFi with comfortable seating for three with other chairs and a table in the room. Lovely sunrises and sunsets in a beautiful area. Very close to the main road but bedrooms at the back so noise minimal at night. I am sure the mirrors in the living room make you look thinner😂. Would have loved to stay longer but it was fully booked. The bathroom lay out and very small shower cubicle. As it was high summer curtains as well as blinds could have helped keep the bedrooms darker.
- Monica (10/5): Un piccolo gioiello - Tutto!!
La casa è incantevole!! Ampia, spaziosa, curata nei minimi dettagli, accessoriata, luminosa, con un bellissimo spazio esterno e una vista mozzafiato!!
Peccato non essersi fermati di più! Nulla!
- Michael (10/5): Home from home, very clean and comfortable. Bonus with off street parking. - Spotlessly clean, OFF Street Parking, very comfortably, everything you need. Nothing.
- Adele (10/5): Exceptional - It was so neat, clean and welcoming.
- Karen (7/5): Spring break at Westview - The house was lovely. It was spotless and the kitchen, although lacking a couple of items, was very well stocked with cups, plates, glasses and pots etc.
The beds are really comfortable, and I'd love to know where she got her pillows from.
The furnishings are of a high quality and are really comfortable. I kept falling asleep in the big chair.
Beautiful gardens, to the back, to sit and relax in and lovely views out to sea from the kitchen and living room.
Bedrooms are to the back of the property and get the daytime sun.
Plenty of parking space.
We have already recommended it to other members of our family. The property is not in Buckie itself, it's actually in Arradoul, on the A98.
Put the postcode in, save yourself some time.
We missed a couple of things but it did not detract from our stay overall. There were no kitchen scissors, a plug for the sink and a couple of egg cups would have helped, but we managed.
We also missed having shower gel etc provided. A wee note to the owner - two, decent, toilet rolls, please. The toilet paper was a disappointment to say the least.
Perhaps it's our age but we missed having a radio to listen to. Small things and nothing that cannot be easily sorted.
- Julia (8/5): Very good -
- Alvin (7/5): Will be back again if I am in the area. - Very quiet property. Nicely sized. Brilliant garden. Remote heating controls means property became cold until the host was contacted.
- Brian (7/5): Great wee house and location, some small improvements would make it excellent. - Great location, good living space, large kitchen well stocked for self catering. Shower cubicle is really small. No towel rail in the bathroom. No curtain in the master bedroom and blind is poorly installed. Light comes flooding into the room at sunrise around 0430. Could not get dressed in the bedroom as the blind does not block out the outside world.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iain (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb - The kitchen was well equipped
- John (8/5): A comfortable stay in a good location for my work - Property was comfortable, good location , good facilities, good parking
- Pauleen (8/5): Very good -
- Kerry (10/5): It was super- we loved it and would like to come back. - Warm, comfy
- Gill (8/5): Gorgeous bungalow but a wee bit remote - A beautiful little bungalow just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Buckie. Really big, very comfortable living room and fabulously well stocked kitchen. The house had everything that we could want and was toasty warm. The shower cubicle is very small. Also there are no shops within walking distance. Not a problem as long as you know to bring everything you need with you.
- Jon (9/5): Super stay, lovely hosts and beautifully clean and well equipped - Beautiful and clean and warm and extremely well designed. Its like a Tardis as it looks quite small from the outside but is so roomy and spacious once you get it Couldn’t control the heating and it was either roasting or cold. Could do with a few coat / towel hooks in the utility room
- Mairi (9/5): Beautifully clean, very comfortable and very well appointed. Fantastic. Thank you! - Beautifully clean, very comfortable and very well appointed. Fantastic. Thank you!
- Andrew (10/5): Fantastic , well decorated and spotlessly clean. - Close to where we were working. It was great to relax in such a comfortable and clean house at the end of the day. Beautiful and well maintained. I can’t say anything negative
- Tracey (9/5): Superb - Clean well equipped and very comfortable. Nothing .
- Steffan (10/5): Lovely house spotless great location for exploring Moray. - Place was spotless. Smelled really nice too. Peaceful and quiet. Had everything we needed.
- Grant (9/5): Superb - The cleanliness and the layout of the house were excellent. The facilities provided were very good and the location was super with great views out to sea. Nothing really.
- Paul (8/5): Great location & very clean - Property was lovely and clean and nicely furnished & owner was very friendly on phone Shower was very small and struggled to get washed properly, plenty of room for a bigger shower cubicle
Also dining seating for 8 people but only one sofa even though accommodation was was for 4 maximum
My idea would be get rid of table & chairs beside window & replace with sofa
But all in all lovely place & thanks for the great experience & we would use again
Regards Paul Claire & Gibby
- Christine (10/5): Fantastic - It was clean and very homely and I would come back any time all that you needed was there so thankyou Kristina for welcoming us to your home would highly recommend it xx Nothing
- James (10/5): great place will be back next year - great place to stay lovely and warm and welcoming
- Catherine (9/5): Would stay again. - Delightful, clean cottage. Comfy beds. Well equipped. Nice outdoor space, excellent offroad parking.
- Joe (8/5): Westview Review - Very clean and comfortable. Very close to a busy main road . Exact location not specified on booking. Had two young children so felt nervous letting them play out.
- Eleanor (8/5): Relaxing and enjoyable two nights and fitted the bill for what we needed over the week. - location was a bit further out of Buckie than actually expected but easy to walk into town.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of mugs and plates.
Host accommodating when we increased from 2 to 3 staying, There could have been more utensils in the kitchen rather than just a small ladle and some wooden spoons but plenty of everything else.
there were a lot of plug in air freshers which made the house very perfumed.
- Ruth (10/5): Lovely accommodation and very homely. - The location is really nice and the garden is picturesque. The surrounding countryside is great too! N/A
- Tara (8/5): We had a lovely short stay at this house. - It was very clean and had all the facilities we required on our stay. It felt very homely with books available to read and some lovely welcoming touches. The location was a little outside of the town which I mustn't have noticed when booking. It wasn't a problem though as we had a car and there was also a taxi service. It was a lovely area.
- John (9/5): Superb - Not applicable
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent bungalow well equipped and clean. Great value!
- Rebecca (10/5): Warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. - The property was very clean and comfortable, and we would definitely book to stay here again when we next visit Scotland.
- James (10/5): Excellent stay and liked it so much I’ve booked it again! - Very well presented and clean N/a
- Maclellan (8/5): Beautiful little costal cottage buckie. - The decor beautiful and so clean, the space in house was great, seats in garden nice, the views amazing and location all absolutely stunning, shops and restaurants all close enough, there was absolutely everything you needed for a self catering cottage very comfy. The area was so quiet and tranquil, I will stay again here. I loved it overall. OK what our biggest problem was the bed in our room was outdated springs are done, we did not get good night's sleep and was a small double to. I was disappointed with this for 3 days then the problem with buses as we don't drive there are only one early morning and very late at night back so not good had to get taxi in and out of town to get local buses witch is not hosts problem but handy for people to know . Ps plz update the mattress.
- David (10/5): Lovely cozy cottage - Loved the location. Loved the living space. Bedroom was a bit tight for space but no issue. The owner was quick to answer a couple of queries we had. We'll definitely be back. Floor was uneven but owner said this was being fixed soon.
- Joshua (8/5): Very good -
- John (8/5): Nice stay good value for money nice touch with milk in fridge and biscuits - Nice and clean plenty of space I thought another sofa instead of table and chsirs would of worked better
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Very homely
