• Kerryn (7/5): Recommended stay - Very cute, clean accommodation with a pretty view, it had all the necessary items in the kitchen. The bed was very comfy and bathroom and shower was great! It was further from the beach than we expected, there are no toiletries like at most accommodations. The weber worked well but the smoke did go into the flat even with the doors and windows closed. Otherwise everything was great

• Johannes (10/5): - Super schöne Unterkunft mit spitzen Ausblick und nahegelegenen Wandermöglichkeiten, sowie kurzer Weg zu den Pinguinen. Die Gastgeberin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit, gibt gerne Tipps und bringt fehlende Sachen direkt noch vorbei. Die Möbel, Handtücher, etc. Sind sehr hochwertig - rundum eine Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen! :-) Durch Ritzen in den Wänden kamen gerne mal Spinnen oder Tausendfüssler zu Besuch.

• Greg (10/5): Stunning views in well appointed apartment - Beautiful spot with lovely finishings perched on the hill with excellent views of the Bay. Close enough to hear the ocean but just far enough not to be kept up by the noise. Well stocked facility and excellent communication with the host. We loved our stay at Petra Not really a negative, but beware of the steep hill is you have a car with low profile.
• Helen (6/5): Nice view but bring your own fan - Clean, modern place. Good location to walk to Stoney Point. Very hot at night, no AC, no fan and lots of mosquitoes so couldn't have window open. According to Booking.com there is a fully equipped kitchen but there is only a microwave and 2 burners and no chopping boards. Extremely limited space. There was an old portable BBQ but no tools and unclear as to where to use it.

• Johannes (6/5): Pleasant but room for improvement - The bedding and linen was excellent quality and comfortable. The price for one person staying there is good value for money. The bathroom is fairly modern and the shower facilities very good. The property is in a very busy street which is noisy. Also the lack of privacy with owners passing up and down the stairs right in front of the patio and dining area is a cause for discomfort. Last but not least, the wooden floor separation with the upstair unit implies one can hear every single noise made on the first floor. No chance for taking an afternoon nap. The kitchen is missing some basic utensils and sharp knives.
• Estienne (9/5): Superb - Excellent location, easy access from main road, close proximity to beach, botanical gardens, coffee shops, restaurants. Excellent value for money, as the unit can accommodate 5 people. Great for a quick getaway out of Cape Town to unplug and recharge. There were wildfires and the owners made sure I was kept updated with evacuation warnings throughout my stay.
