- Nicoletta (10/5): Molto comodo e spazioso - Spazioso appartamento in pieno centro storico. Accogliente e pulito. Niente
- Taina (8/5): - Great location, comfortable bed. Apartment needs a proper deep cleaning (bad smell in kitchen), and some maintenance (for exe bathroom door, bathtub shower)
- Meg (7/5): Great location.Lovely staff. Felt very safe. Just a shame the bed was awful and it wasn’t overly clean. - The location was amazing.
Such great food close by.
Felt very central and safe.
Staff were proactive in making sure we checked in seamlessly. It wasn’t clean. The kitchen, bathrooms or floors. I didn’t want to use the kettle or cook as it all felt grimy.
I had to buy hand soap etc.
The main bed was terrible. Rock hard with flat pillows that were so old and used.
I wouldn’t have used any extra blankets etc without having washed them.
If you’re not spending much time in the room- it’s perfect.
- Olga (9/5): Superb - Close to everything, good facilities, large enough for 5.
- Linda (8/5): A great location in Rome -
- Mikaela (9/5): Cozy and nicely furnished apartment! - Warm a cozy aparment during wintertime. Very welcoming host. Everything worked well and we enjoyed our stay.
- Jon (9/5): Great value for money apartment in great location - Location was great and nice size rooms Showers were a bit small and kitchen / bathroom could generally do with updating. Key in external door was quite stiff.
- Aris (7/5): Excellent location, flat was clean. decor a bit tired. - Good base. The location was really good and we could walk to everything really easily. The flat was clean. I would definitely stay again, but good to know. The furniture had seen better days, the table top was quite battered, the bathrooms had stained grouting for instance but it was clean. The bedding supplied was strange, bit musty, all odd bits of fabric of all colours, all different cloths. Underneath the top sheet was an old multicoloured sleeping bag, and smallish pieces of ripped cloth were tacked together to the lower sides of the bed. The pillows were stained. The building when you walked in from the street smelled of old mould. The main door of the flat was very difficult to open and once when we really couldn't get in, the emergency number did not pick up, nor returned the call. Luckily we got in eventually. But this is such a good location, and the flat was clean. We just wanted a clean base so it worked well for us.
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Location, Location, Location! Great bedding and well equipped kitchen. Will highly recommend this apartment, if you want to walk to all attractions. Need to buy paper towels, salt, soap, dishwashing liquid as none was provided .
Just be prepared .
- Roland (1/5): Definitely not a pleasant stay, shouldn’t be rented out, run down apartment. - Great location. This supposed to be my 30th Birthday celebration with my whole family but unfortunately we had a very bad experience, this property shouldn’t be rented out, needs renovation and upgrade. It looks nothing like the photos. I lived in Italy for years and I know exactly how an old charming apartment should look like, but this apartment is not even close to it. Paint missing on walls, moldy showers and shower curtains, very uncomfortable beds, the bed is not the same as it is shown on the photos, it’s two single beds. Dirty pillows, no duvet just a single sheet in November. We were freezing and feeling uncomfortable. And the blankets we found in the apartment were unacceptable, decades old and stinky and dirty. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 5 people for 3 nights. Also nothing else is provided, no dishwashing liquid, sponge, etc. had to go and buy everything. No shelves in the showers. Shower head holder and shower door is broken. Toilet is leaking, very noisy during the night, had to get out of bed many times to try to make the noise stop. Kitchen is very outdated and broken, lamination coming off, dirty rubbish bins and walls around it. Hard to open the front door, lock is broken on the inside, we only got one sets of key. And literally the list goes on. I wish I can upload all the photos I took to show what I’m talking about.
- Laurent (8/5): Very good - Check-in was difficult to organize. Although we sent multiple text messages and emails ahead of time, we ended up having to wait in front of the door with our kids. Seems like a lot of work for a mediocre results.
- Thomas (6/5): Pleasant - Good value for money,
Lovely lovation- walking distance within all major sites of rome. nice living room
high ceilings
had kitchen and amenities which were fucntional floor and bathrooms were generally heavily dusty, the creases between the sofa were full of dirt.
the bathroom floors were exceedignly dirty
a lot of chipped tiled.
Pillows and bedding were quite uncomfortable.
- Jaana (8/5): Perfect location for a stay in Rome! - The location of the apartment is just perfect, the street is just a short 2 minutes walk to Campo de Fiori but the entrance to the apartment is on short and quiet street, and it is on a walking distance to all the other major sights in the city. There are also a lot of restaurants and small shops nearby. The apartment is nice and cosy, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a small kitchen and a living room with a sofa bed. Raffaele was very nice and helped us to find parking space for our rental car when we arrived, and with transport to the airport when we left. Some improvements would be nice: Only 1 key to the apartment is a bit difficult when there are a group of people staying at the apartment, you always have to decide on where to meet and exchange key, if people have different things to do and see and have different timetables. The kitchen would also need some equipment, like potholders, kitchen towel, knifes etc. Hand towels for the bathrooms would also be good. The showers would need some maintenance, especially the shower in the bathroom next to the other bedroom.
- Linda (7/5): Good -
- Maurice (7/5): Convenient and quiet location and spacious, but run down and could be more generous with kitchen/laundry convenience - Great location and reasonably comfortable and very spacious for Rome. Quiet side street away from the Campo de Fiori parties … Beds were good, pillows were not! Bathroom toilet was leaking water on floor. Kitchen was poorly equipped - for the fairly expensive price could provide some tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Clea (9/5): Perfect location near Campo dei Fiori! - The location was superb! Via Bollo is a block from Campo dei Fiori and less than a kilometer from most important sights and transport. Although it is very central, it is in a quiet little street, and when it is a bit more noisy below the front bedroom, the double glazed windows can be closed. It's very nice having two bathrooms, a light little kitchen, and a large, cool living room. We were also accommodated a night earlier than originally booked at a very generous rate as half our party needed an extra night. Ludovico was very friendly and there to meet us as arranged. We did feel that a couple of very basic additions would really have made a difference: Dishcloths and cleaning cloths, clothes pegs and decent hangers. A few basic supplies on arrival like salt, pepper, tea, coffee and sugar would have been nice. A change of towels maybe once during the week's stay and a fan for summer nights is essential. Attention to a few, very small, basic details would really make the apartment lovely.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - The appartment was spacious and nicely designed. Nice and quiet little street but close to good restaurants and cafes, walkable distance to all attractions and bus stop to the airport or hop on/off bus. There were two bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped. We met staff on arrival-nice and polite to us, even we had been late than expected. The appartment was great for 6 people. We all enjoyed our trip. I have one suggestion: One betroom should have two beds instead double bed.
- Wendy (9/5): Cute apartment and great location!!! - Fantastic location. So close to all the main attractions. Surprisingly quiet once you closed the windows. Host was so friendly and helpful on check-in and we particularly appreciated the cold drinks left for us in the fridge. Loved the high ceilings and the wooden beams in the living room. Would have been helpful to have more than 1 set of keys as we were two couples with different itineraries so we had to make sure we planned who had the key and when.
- Joan (8/5): Very good - Location and space in apartment were perfect. We were a party of five and we were told there were two sofa beds, but when we arrived there was one sofa bed for two people., meaning we had to share.
They said they never meant to mislead. Must have been lost in translation.
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant - The location of the property was quite simply perfect, a quiet street only a 2 minute walk from a square full of restaurants and shops, within 30 minutes walk of all of the major sites. We were greeted by the host who could not have been more helpful or friendly, they were very accommodating meetings us to allow a bag drop and check in. The property itself had beautiful features and lots of space for a family. Unfortunately the property is in need of a fair bit of work and modernisation.
The kitchen felt neglected, the kettle did not work, there was not enough cutlery or utensils for a family to eat, the coffee pot on the hob and shown to us by the host to use had mould on the inside, there were no cleaning products provided, oven gloves or tea towels, random bits found in cupboards smelt damp and stained.
The bathrooms were pleasant and some toiletries were provided but in some areas they were in a bad state with paint peeling from the walls, missing fixtures and loose plugs.
The cleanliness of the property was not of a standard I would expect at this price point, it was a little grubby in areas with a poor standard of cleaning in general. There was not enough bedding provided for the number of guests we booked and the bedding we did find in the cupboards felt dirty, sadly we also found stains on some of the provided bedding on the beds in the rooms.
On a more serious note I received a electric shock from a lamp in the lounge when using the on off switch and it exploded in my hand, leaving a burn on my hand. Luckily no lasting damage however this could have been much worse and obviously as a family with three young children this is very concerning. I contacted the hosts and they repaired the wire but I received no follow up. Throughout the property I would urge caution with the electrics, a number of the plug sockets are loose from the wall and look damaged, the sockets utilise an older style European socket which has clearly caused compatibility issues over the years.
I would not usually leave negative reviews and would have turned a blind eye to the cleanliness concerns as the positives of the property and location outweigh that in my opinion, however I would urge caution if traveling with children and sincerely hope the owners address the general condition of the property, if they do they will undoubtedly have the perfect holiday home

- Mandado (8/5): Very good -
- Marialuisa (8/5): Very good -
- Sam (6/5): Pleasant - Great location and thete was lots of space for our family of 5. Sofa bed was hard and everything generally in need of some TLC.
- Olha (10/5): Perfect apartment to feel Rome vibe - Fantastic apartment in a cozy narrow street. It has everything one may need to feel the spirit of old town in Rome. 2 bedrooms, small kitchen, big dining area, 2 bathrooms. The apartment was perfectly clean and had all needed furniture. What requires special attention is the ceiling - it is just magic! Perfectly adds the Roman vibe to the mood.
- Alexander (9/5): Fantastic location, very comfortable, air conditioning was very welcome. -
- Liljana (9/5): A treat! - Perfect location. Walked miles simply because all the major landmarks were in walking distance. Really high traditional wooden ceilings typical of Rome. A few tea towels would have been helpful and some larger mugs for those of us who like drinking from buckets.
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Angela (6/5): Amazing location, roomy apartment, facilities and plumbing that don't work - Location is gold! We were able to walk to all the sites. Is located in a little cobbled street, very pretty with cafes, shops etc close by. Was clean and very roomy, plenty of room for a family, and great to have 2 bathrooms. Unfortunately we arrived from weeks of travel already with suitcases full of dirty clothes, expecting to use the washing machine. Upon arrival we were told washing machine was broken, so we were unable to use. Also upon arrival one toilet didn't flush at all, however, the lovely guy who booked us in was very responsive and came right back and fixed this issue. However the other 'working toilet' has a very weak flush, we often had to manually flush with a bucket of water. Also on plumbing issues, when showering the water banks up as the drain was obviously blocked. When washing hair we had to turn off the shower mid-shower and let some water drain away or it would have flooded the bathroom. Another disappointment, was that after cooking dinner one night we discovered no dishwasher tabs had been left. We went out next day and bought some, only to then not have the dishwasher work... the manual in the house simply stated "dishwasher is easy to use, refer to manual if needed" .... never found a manual.
- Kimiora (5/5): We enjoyed the location and space of the apartment. More care needs to be taken to ensure properly cleaned, maintained a - Fabulous location for exploring Rome, we walked everywhere. Roomy apartment. Air conditioning worked well. Host who met us was friendly and responded quickly to messages. The photos shown are somewhat dated, they give you an accurate picture of the idea the layout, but when we stayed the property definitely needed a good clean and some maintenance done. Supplies in limited - for example only 2 knives and no working lighter provided to light gas hobs, no clothes pegs. Bed linen could also do with a refresh, one set of sheets had holes in them.
- Lela (4/5): Disappointing - Location was great! Upon arrival, we had to wait for the host to meet us. And as a bonus, property wasn't cleaned after previous guests. So we had to wait for about two hours for the cleaning to be finished. It was a huge discomfort, as we had to cancel our plans...
- Gavin (10/5): Exceptional - Host met us upon arrival. Gave us a map and highlighted points of interest, restaurants, etc. He was very helpful. The Apartment was in a great location.
- Ann (5/5): Passable - The location was terrific and the place was adequate. The man who signed us in was kind and helpful. We had difficulty reaching the manager to get the keys and waited rather long for him to come. The photographer they used to advertise the apartment was a magician as the photos on Booking.com make the apartment look MUCH nicer than it is.
