• Darren (10/5): Gigi was a great host and very responsive. We enjoyed Bari and did a day trip to Lecce, Monopoli and Polognano di Mare s - Gigi’s apartment was in a good location near the train, waterfront and old town. No complaints.

Ne-a asteptat cu focaccia locala si intr-o zi ne-a adus prajituri specifice zonei. Apartament utilat cu strictul necesar unui sejur, amplasat aproape de plaja si de centru! Nimic de reprosat

• Tòth (10/5): Tiszta, csendes és nagyon jó helyen van! Remek vàlasztás! - Nagyon jó helyen van, csendes, közel van a strand, az óváros, kávézó, élelmiszerbolt. A szállás tiszta, jól felszerelt, klimatizált. Teljesen meg voltunk vele elégedve! A tulajdonos nagyon kedves és segítőkész! Jó szívvel ajánlom! Nincs ilyen.
• Robert (10/5): - Bardzo uprzejmy właściciel, przywitał nas regionalną foccacią, przekąskami i zimnymi napojami. Klimatyzacja w obu pokojach bez zarzutu. Apartament na parterze, nowocześnie wyposażony. W cenie kawy z ekspresu, kosmetyki, ręczniki. Blisko do plaży, centrum i stacji kolejowej.
• Martina (10/5): Absolutně výjimečné! - Krásný a útulný apartmán s veškerým vybavením a zázemím pro skvělou a pohodovou dovolenou. Kromě perfektní běžné výbavy navíc i pár hraček pro děti, slunečník na pláž, deštník pro případ nepěkného počasí, k dispozici kávové kapsle, čaj, při příjezdu lednice vybavená nápoji a spíž dobrůtkami pro děti, v koupelně hygienické potřeby. Vše dokonale čisté, velkým bonusem z mého pohledu je, že je apartmán uprostřed zástavby v krásném dvoře, takže jsme se i cítili velmi bezpečně a byl zde klid. Lokalita je skvělá, podle mě v Bari ideální-v pěší vzdálenosti do centra i starého městečka a pár minut od městské pláže, poblíž parku s dětským hřištěm. To nejlepší na tom všem je ale dokonalý hostitel Gigi. Perfektní komunikace už od samé rezervace pobytu, vyzvedl nás na letišti navzdory pozdnímu příletu a ochotně vše vysvětlil a ukázal i když musel být unavený. Skvělá focaccia na uvítání a během pobytu nám dokonce donesl skvělé ovoce z vlastní zahrady. V podstatě denně nám psal tipy co vidět a navštívit, neustále se staral, zda nám něco nechybí a vždy tu pro nás byl, když jsme něco potřebovali. Na závěr nás dokonce s kufry zavezl na hlavní nádraží, děti dostaly na cestu suvenýr, aby se jim tolik nestýskalo (což nepomáhá, mimochodem! Stýská se nám všem!) Opravdu dokonalá dovolená na kterou s láskou vzpomínáme. Moc děkujeme! ❤️ Nic takového mě nenapadá! Vše bylo dokonalé!

• Mariya (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. In a quiet location. At most 15 minutes from the beach. The train station was 10 minutes walk away and the old town was not far either. The owner of the apartment is very nice.

• Liviu (10/5): Superb - This was undoubtedly the best booking experience! The apartment is beautiful—well-decorated, fully equipped, everything new, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. Excellent location, quiet, close to the sea, beach, city center, old town, train station, supermarket, and other attractions. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to assist and easy to communicate with. He kindly picked us up and took us to the airport, waited with fresh "focaccia", and brought us delicious cakes and souvenirs for children. The apartment includes water, drinks, sweets, and excellent coffee capsules for the machine. The owner consistently provided helpful recommendations on where to eat, what to visit, and how to get around, he was always willing to guide us to have a wonderful holiday in Bari. And we really had a very pleasant experience, so much so that we want to come back to Bari and definitely to Barion! We highly recommend this place! Thank you, Gigi, for everything!
• Paweł (10/5): Exceptional - Our host - Gigi - is the best host ever. He was taking care of us through the whole time. Greeted us with delicious focaccia. Helped us with trains and buses when we we're sightseeing. Brought us fresh cherries from his garden. Even took us to the airport on our way back. I can recommend him to anyone. If i could i would give him 20 stars if I could. About the apartament - also great. Clean and stylishly furnished with all the amenities you want - wifi, AC, oven, induction, air purifier, and most importantly high-end espresso machine with great coffee (also provided by Gigi). About the location - also great 12 minutes walk either to train station, Bari Vecchia or Pomodoro Beach. When Ill be coming back to Bari Im only going to stay at Gigi's place. Gigi - Thank You once again for unforgetable vacation. Hope to see You in the future. Nothing
• Luiza (10/5): Wonderful experience. - The accommodation was perfect for our needs: very clean and nice apartament, great location, close to Bari Centrale, close to old city centre and close to the sea. The apartament has a very well equipped kitchenette, a coffee machine and the entire apartment is very modern. The host, Gigi, was so nice. He welcomed us with focaccia and beverages. He also gave us some advice of where to eat (good advice, thank you Gigi), what to visit and how to get there. The neighbourhood is very nice also. There are supermarkets very close by and plenty of restaurants at a 10 min walk. This accommodation was a great choice. Everything is great.
• Jozef (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy apartment in a great location, right in the middle between the beach, the old town and train/bus station. We're a family with two kids – the apartment is on the smaller side, but well-equipped and perfect for a shorter stay. It's on the ground floor inside a block of a residential building, which helps filter out street noise. It was quiet during the nights. The host, Gigi, is a very friendly gentleman who welcomed us personally and gave us great tips on local restaurants and nearby trips. We felt like we could reach out to him anytime if we needed anything.

• Anna (10/5): The host is very helpful. The apartment is comfortable, stylish, and secure. - The owner of the Gigi apartment was waiting for our arrival, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The handover of the keys took place in an extremely friendly atmosphere, immediately putting us in a positive mood. Since we had rented a car, the owner made sure to reserve a parking spot right in front of the main entrance – a huge convenience in Bari, where parking can be quite challenging. Throughout our stay, he regularly checked in to ensure everything was okay, further highlighting his commitment to guest comfort. The apartment is exceptionally secure, with two independent sets of doors at the entrance and a security camera. The bedroom window, overlooking an inner courtyard, is also well-secured and equipped with curtains. The living room does not have a window, which might be an advantage for those who value more privacy. The interior of the apartment was decorated with exceptional attention to detail, combining comfort with aesthetics and incorporating elements showcasing the city’s history. In the bedroom, guests have access to a large, comfortable bed, a spacious wardrobe, and bedside tables with independent lighting. Power outlets conveniently located near the bed make it easy to charge electronic devices. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we were greeted with a small welcome package in the fridge and cupboard. The bathroom was fully stocked with everything needed for a short stay, which was another big plus. The neighborhood is quiet and typically Italian, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the authentic atmosphere of Bari. An additional advantage is the excellent location – a convenient drive to places like Matera, Polignano a Mare, Monopoli, and Locorotondo, which in December dazzles with its stunning Christmas decorations (highly recommended!). In summary – a place worth visiting! 😊 We visited Bari during the Christmas season, which unfortunately coincided with unfavorable weather – out of the four days of our stay, three were rainy and cold. The weather took us by surprise, but thankfully we had winter jackets with us, which proved to be invaluable. Our first night brought an unpleasant surprise – we received a €33 fine for parking in front of the house, as we didn’t know it was a paid parking zone. It wasn’t until the next day that we noticed QR codes on the parking ticket machines and downloaded a parking app. This made parking in the Apulia region much easier afterward, but it’s a shame there wasn’t clearer information about this upfront. In the evenings, Bari didn’t feel particularly safe. Walking after dark, we didn’t experience much comfort or relaxation, which contrasted with the pleasant atmosphere of smaller nearby towns like Polignano a Mare and Monopoli. In summary, while Bari has its charms, it’s important to be aware of certain inconveniences and prepare for them accordingly.

• Paulina (10/5): Nice apartment in a very good location - - amazing host Gigi who welcomed us with local focaccia and some beverages :) he’s always available over WhatsApp and he’s super friendly - good location near Bari Centrale and Bari Marconi where you can take trains to local attractions; it’s a 20 min walk to Bari Vecchia - safe and quiet neighborhood (no noise from the street which allowed me to sleep uninterrupted) - very clean and modern apartment Totally recommended :) Nothing
• Zoran (10/5): Exceptional - We felt wonderful! The location is very good, 10 minutes from Pane e Pomodoro beach, and 10 minutes from the historic center of Bari. Quiet building, clean and discreet inner courtyard. Close to cafes, supermarket, bakery. The apartment is clean and well equipped with absolutely everything you need to spend a few days of holiday. We also found a beach umbrella and sand toys. Gigi, the owner, a golden man, waited for us with mineral water, natural water, cold juice and beer, sweets, we had coffee and tea at our discretion. Even more, midweek, he came to us in the morning with cookies and replenished our coffee stock, just out of the blue. He was so kind to take us the airport late in the evening on a Sunday, even finding some shops on the way that were still open at that time to get Nutella and Lavazza (😎). We wholeheartedly recommend and thank Gigi for everything!! 🤗 Mille Grazie!!!

• Róbert (10/5): Exceptional - We really enjoyed our stay at Barion thanks to the host, Gigi. He is really mindful and kind with his guests and always there to help. The house is well equipped as stated in the description and it was comfortable for the three of us with my wife and 2 year old son. The location is also good for this house as it is near the Pane e Pomodoro beach and the city center. We would definitely come back here if we travel to Bari again.
