Guest Reviews
- Patricia (10/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Outstanding property in central location. - Close to restaurants and shops.
Easy to get to major historical sites.
Helpful owners/ manager providing book of recommendations and arranging taxis. Could use another chair in living room.
- Rosa (8/5): -
- Xhixho (10/5): Very good location, friendly staff, very helpful. - The location was very nice. Nothing
- Maria (10/5): The best place to stay for a Roma visit! - We honestly could not fault this property or the team who supported us while we were there, plus before and after. Flavia met us at the apartment on our arrival to give us our keys and a tour of the property. The property itself was ideal for us as it had 2 bathrooms and 3 double beds - ideal for travelling with 2 teenagers (15 & 17). The living space and kitchen meant we had plenty of space to relax in the evening and the nearest corner supermarket was less than 2 mins walk away. The location of the property was perfect - especially for a first time visit to Rome - all the major sites were about a 20 minute walk away (Trevi fountain, Colosseum etc). We found an amazing place to eat carbonara a few doors down from the property (called Maccaroni) and a fabulous coffee shop on the corner for coffee and pastries. A few mins walk away was Fridgidarium for gelato and the fantastic Pizzeria de Baffeta. Flavia, Luigi and the rest of the property team were always on hand via WhatsApp if I had any questions and helped me sort a great taxi to the airport for our return home (I would recommend using them to sort the arrival taxi too which we didn't do but should have). Obviously, Roma was beautiful and everything we hoped it would be and more but what set this trip apart was the fantastic place we stayed (be aware that the water pressure in these old buildings isn't great so the showers aren't particularly powerful). We couldn't recommend this place highly enough - absolutely stellar customer service all round!! And if we are lucky enough to come back to Roma, I would book this again in a heart beat!
(Can also recommend getting up at 4.30am to see the Trevi fountain and the Colosseum before the crowds descend).
Thanks to Luigi, Flavia and everyone for making our stay absolutely perfect! 10 out of 10!
- Mireia (9/5): - Excelente ubicación para recorrer Roma a pie.
Situado en un barrio con mucho encanto
- Theodore (10/5): Great place, location, service and stay - The host was exceptional, accommodating transfer to the place of stay, handling luggage, and having full time help if/when needed.

- Rawa (7/5): great location, great host, super bad beds. w - The location was fantastic, close to everything, friendly host Regretfully super bad beds, they were super firm and the bad part of this stay. if theyd invest in normal beds, theyd be a 10/10.

- Méabh (10/5): Great apartment in a great location. Perfect for a family with plenty of room. -

- ANNA (10/5): Our charming Roman home in the best location - We were 2 couples and loved staying in this charming apartment. The location is brilliant for walking to all the sights and is surrounded by great restaurants. Very helpful owners with lots of great tips. We loved sitting around in the late evenings having a wine, making our plans and it was a lovely cool escape in the middle of the day. We felt very at home and had plenty of space and privacy.
- David (9/5): Great place to stay to explore Rome - Beautiful apartment in great location. Very comfortable and helpful host. Perfect for a family. Nothing
- Amanda (9/5): A great stay for the family. - The space was so large for a Rome apartment and very comfortable. The location was perfect. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms were great. Everything was really great, a little more lighting would be useful.
- Alvaro (10/5): - Muito bem localizado, próximo a várias atrações turísticas da cidade. Próximo a supermercados e comércio.
Recomendo.
- Marisa (10/5): An authentic apartment- cosy - all mod cons in a great location! - The property managers were lovely - met us at the door and arranged taxi's from the airport.
The apartment is very close to many areas if interest and is very local. Such as Piazza Navona and other historical sites. The location is fantastic.
The apartment is cosy and comfortable with hot water facilities that always supply a pipping hot bath - make sure to pull the lever up fully.
There rooms were clean and very well- decorated and tastefully so.
The black out wooden shutters helped us get over jet- lag and the beds were very comfortable.
There is a Pams supermarket literally across the road and the best sandwich bar just to the left of the apartment.
The apartment felt safe and was quiet.
My son absolutely loved it too - climbing up the bunk beds was fun for him.
Overall - we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again should we come to Rome.
Marisa ( Ireland) husband from NZ - residing in Australia Nothing. Its honestly great. No place is ever perfect but this place was close to it.
- Fey Ching (10/5): Location is unbelievable. No hesitation to stay again - Location is unbeatable. Old city. Cobble stone street. Marble floor/stairs. Local fresh pasta shop. Lots local pizza pasta away from tourists trap. 6 min to La Romano gelato 1947. Within 30 mins walk you have Vatican city, colosseum, Spanish steps/pantheon sites. Exceptional clean for a place filled with arts collection and books. Kitchen suitable feeding family of 5 (3generations) for breakfast +\~ dinner with staples (oil, salt, sugar, tea, coffee pod & more) available. Local groceries literally across the main road. An old building with a lift, so handy for 77 yo mother. All amenities, laundry available. Hosts are so responsive, nothing too big or small. Genuine hospitality. We did trip the power twice, overloaded perhaps with oven on. But easily turned on again.
Perhaps for front room ( room with upper deck) can be noisy with traffic and garbage trucks) despite double window. Apart from that enough space for 5 people. Water, as it’s in old town, rotate timing for shower will ensure sustained hot shower. We had no issues. We didn’t like shower in the bath. We used the one shower cubicle mainly.
- Mario (9/5): -
- Yossi Mordo (9/5): Overall the experience was great and we recommend this facility for others to use - The location was fantastic, providing easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly.
A big apartment with all the necessary facilities for a family with 3-4 kids
good value for the money we paid the water pressure in the showers was quite low. While I understand this might be a common issue in Rome, it did affect the overall shower experience. Additionally, there seemed to be a problem with the hot water gas boiler, occasionally resulting in inconsistent water temperatures. The shower head itself could also use some improvement, as it wasn’t functioning optimally.
The toilet in the guest room was small, which might pose a challenge for larger individuals.
- Jacquelyn (10/5): Great time with great location and service! - The location was perfect! Flavia met us and was great. She was very helpful and courteous! She gave us terrific tips for our trip. The only thing I can say that was a little challenging were the showers. The shower in one bath doesn’t have a curtain so it was hard to keep things dry. The other bathroom the water pressure was lower than I liked. Neither issue was a big deal.
- Lucille (10/5): Wonderful! - Very clean and comfortable. The view from the apartment is amazing. Close to restaurants, shopping and grocery store. One of the few buildings with a lift!
- Ian (10/5): Great stay - The welcome we received upon arrival was great we were shown up to the apartment which was great, lots of space, light and airy. Everything was explained to us on how things worked. Well apart from not staying longer there was nothing
- Wood (8/5): Really enjoyable stay at Via Pellegrino in a place that had character and was a great location. - Location was perfect with only 10/15 min walks to main tourist attractions and close by amenities including easy to use bus routes. House was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Nothing in particular. Maybe a couple more seating options in the lounge area would have been useful but otherwise perfect for our needs.
- Sarah (9/5): Excellent location and great space for families. - Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. Cold air conditioning in living room and children’s room. Toiletries, kitchen essentials, and a few coffee pods to get us started was very helpful! Air conditioning in master bedroom was horrible. Husband slept on couch in living room. Master bathroom shower needs a deep clean. There wasn’t a wine opener! Two people can’t shower at the same time (and have hot water).
- Ellen (10/5): Right in the heart of everything. Wonderful staff and such a comfortable appartment. - Fantastic location, great facilities and wonderful staff!!! Nothing. It was perfect.
- Veronika (10/5): Would return in a heart beat if ever again in Rome. - Wonderful place in a great part of town with a taxi stop just a short walk from the front door. Kids loved the bunk bed and was a lot of space to spread out in. The water was temperamental but that is just the way things are in an old building.
- Sandra (10/5): A wonderful gamily adventure!!! - Very quiet, clean and comfortable… Could use additional comfortable chairs in the living room.
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect for two night family stay - Super friendly and helpful staff.excellent central location
- Shauna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matthew (10/5): We had a wonderful stay - perfect for a family of 4. - Location of apartment was fantastic - steps to fantastic restaurants, grocery store, wonderful piazzas etc. and easy access to the city.
- Bobbette (9/5): Wonderful place to stay. - The location was amazing. We walked to all of the planned excursions and found exceptional restaurants nearby. The coffee maker was eh. But there was a great place one block down and we got our coffee and pastries there daily.
- Kenneth (8/5): Very good - Location, property manager was fantastic very helpful p Beds were not very comfortable
- Mary (8/5): A fantastic stay in the most beautiful city. The location was 100% - Fabulous location and wonderful greeting. We were met at the property by a lovely girl who explained everything about the area and house. A wonderful experience. I felt the property would benefit from a little modification in the kitchen
- Klas (9/5): Superb - The location and the support from the owners.
- Rachel (10/5): Best location in Rome, a charming apartment in historic building - Amazing location, a very comfortable apartment for a family, awesome staff and the best coffee in Rome just downstairs. This was our home away from home.
- Terra (9/5): Superb -
- Deirdre (8/5): Well located for all the sites which were in walking distance. - Well located for all the sites which were in walking distance. Excellent communication with host. Collection service from airport also arranged. Showers could be improved. Second bedroom did not have ensuite facilities. More suitable for families.
- William (10/5): Great apartment in a great location! - Great apartment in a great location!
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shama (10/5): Great stay in Rome - This apartment was very comfortable for our family of 5. It’s a great location. Luigi, Alessia, and Petra were all very helpful and were very responsive to all of our questions.
- Anna (9/5): Excellent - Most of the house was beautifully decorated, very warm and in prime position. So easy to find all you need and guide books a bonus. Tv and Netflix also worked very well for chilling out! Only one shower worked and kitchen needs some basic supplies like tea towels, tongs, oven mitts.
- Paul (6/5): Good location, horrible showers - Great location and set-up Had nothing but trouble with the two showers. Both showerheads were broken and despite fast service, were replaced with old broken ones. Ended up having to wash under the shower hose with no shower head. Very poor.
- Naphassorn (10/5): Exceptional - Our family loved this home. The great location in the city of Rome easy to get to good spot and near supermarket. The owner is nice. Such a good place for family. We recommended!!
- Tim (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Jeff (8/5): Great comfortable apartment in a perfect location right where all the action is but far enough away that it’s quiet. Th - Spacious, 2 bathrooms, 3 beds, comfortable apartment with a washing machine in a fabulous area. Hot water in the shower was problematic
- Del (10/5): We will definitely book this place again when we find ourselves in Rome. Thanks for everything! - Location was excellent! The staff was so helpful during our entire stay. They were quick to respond and even helped us arrange transportation. The place was perfect for a family. Our kids loved the bunk beds! Thanks :-) A slight issue with the cable box, but the staff was quick to try and help resolve the issue.
- Melissa (9/5): Comfortable, convenient and clean - Elevator, two bedrooms with three large beds, quiet side street, direct access to grocery store, comfortable living room No extra blankets and no air conditioner in main bedroom
- Belmc (9/5): Fantastic stay, clean apartment which was central. Would stay here again and highly recommend - Loved the location, only 10 minute walk to Piazza Navona, 20 minute to Trevi, 25 to Colosseum and Vatican City. We were just down the road from Campo di Fiori and also had a bread/coffee place 20 metres up the road and a Pams Convenience store on the main corner. Very central but away from noisy piazzas. The rooms were spacious and didnt feel cramped, living area was big. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Aircons worked great and the bonus of having a working elevator was perfect, considering we were on the 3rd level. There is a note in the apartment about the old pipes so we had to take it in turns to shower, but we had a good routine to ensure the hot water worked well for all. Could of used a bit more lighting in the bedroom with the loft, maybe an additional central light to cover both areas, but thats just me!
- John (7/5): Good -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location with plenty of room for our family of 5.
Shower pressure and hot water not great but understand its plumbing in an old building..
- Stephanie (9/5): The apartment was very spacious and in a great location and the host was very helpful with booking transfers and with re - Great location and a lot of room. Very comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The hot water wasn’t reliable.
- Evan (10/5): Beautiful apartment, amazing location, wonderful hosts. - This location is amazing, you can walk to everything. Just down the street there are breakfast and dinner places that people line up to get into but you will beat them all. We had an absolutely lovely time and would totally stay here again. If I HAD to find a negative, I’ll just say the tricky plumbing in Rome which can give you variable water pressure now and then. It has nothing to do with this place however, it is everywhere in this ancient city and not that big of a deal.
- Nicole (10/5): Lovely place and lovely time. Walkable to all things. Great neighborhood.large home. Very comfortable - Large, great location Nothing
- Bryan (9/5): Great place for the family to stay and close to all the things we wanted to do. - Excellent location and super helpful hosts! Varying water temps.
- Patricia (9/5): Brilliant location in a comfortable apartment - A lovely comfortable spacious apartment in a great location, just what we needed for our week’s visit to Rome Would have appreciated a little more hanging space
- Joyce (8/5): Very good - Though the apartment is located in the city, the surrounding is quiet, we can have good rest at night.
It is accessible by many public buses and near to major places of interest.
- Aprille (9/5): Superb - Great apartment in the perfect location. Generous size accommodation in a modern yet homely style with everything you need for a break in central Rome.......including a lift - added bonus (apt on 3rd floor).
A stones throw from Campo De Fiori, Piazza Navona, Pantheon and a short distance from Vatican City.
Highly recommend. There are no negatives for us as a family of 3.
- William (7/5): We enjoyed our stay in Rome and thankful for the beautiful weather. - Location and neighborhood were excellent; near taxi and buses; felt safe; adequate space. Decor was cute. Water all over bathroom when using shower; very very poor lighting; inadequate seating for six people; dirty dishes found in dishwasher; inadequate trash bags for number of days and we did not even cook or eat meals. We had a small emergency and was unable to reach the room contact person for help.
- Samantha (9/5): Great location! Wonderful apartment to stay in as a family! - We loved this apartment! It was in a fantastic location that was very safe and central and was located within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment itself was very bright, airy, and open. It was the perfect size for 5 people and had lots of space. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. I especially loved the character of the place. I also appreciated the host being very communicative with us, and even helped us book a taxi from the airport. She answered all of the questions we had and was very pleasant to work with. It was our first time in Italy and we loved Rome so much, we would definitely book here again in the future. The water pressure in the bathrooms was occasionally a bit on the lower side, and sometimes the temperature would be hot/cold, but they did mention this in the apartment information being typical in Rome's older buildings. Despite this, it didn't hinder our great stay, and all of the other amenities were great and exceeded our expectations!
- Kevin (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location - Beautiful apartment in a great location
- Jiva (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment looked exactly like in the pictures ! The best part was that the apartment is located in the centre and near almost all important must see attractions and places as Sant Angelo castle, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fountain Di Trevi and many many restaurants! Luigi was very helpful and gave us all necessary instructions even made sure that we have enough towels . Excellent for families with kids 😃 Nothing
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional - The location was excellent. Pantheon, Bridge of Angels and the Vatican all within 10 to 20 mins walking distance away. Colosseum, the Forum and Palatine Hill 40 mins.
Loads of good restaurants close by and a Pam local across the road if you are cooking for yourself.
The apartment was perfect and became a real home from home. Most nights spent around the kitchen table digesting the day's events.
Luigi supplies an amazing amount of information which makes pre planning the day's events easy. Nothing
- Jane (8/5): Great location - dissapointed by hot water - The location was fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The greeter was also lovely and responsive. The items available for use in the kitchen was great. The lift - while tiny was great to move luggage up the 4 floors. The lack of water pressure and hot water was dissapointing (there were signs that this was due to the age of the building). Using the oven and the heating at once tripped the electricity. The owner had also disconnected the heated towel racks. A little bit of investment in these things would improve the comfort greatly.
- Olga (10/5): We will return definitely. - Very nice and helpful stuff. Luigi helped us with transfer from airport and after our stay with another transfer to cruise port. This apartment is wonderful. Located very convenient for everything.
- Ken (10/5): For a stay in Rome, this is the perfect place to base yourself. - We stayed for a month, with family arriving at different times. Great apartment. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Spacious living area. Very comfortable and the beds were great.
If you want to stay in Rome and experience it, this location is perfect. Good bus connections to get around to all the major sights. Campo di Fiori with the market and restaurants just up the street. Piazza Navona a 10 minute walk. St Peters Basilica, a few stops on the bus. Supermarkets all around, so no issues getting provisions. Luigi the owner and his staff are very helpful and informative. Nothing
- Greg (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (9/5): Convenient Location in Rome - Location is within walking distance of the Coliseum, the Vatican and Trastevere neighborhood for great dinner spots. Spacious apartment with split bedroom plan. Nice beds. Good air conditioning throughout most of the house. Nothing major. Good place to stay. Had to purchase more TP and paper products that were missing, but not a big deal.
- Andre (10/5): Absolute great place to stay while in Rome - Excellent location, bus, taxi stand right accross the street. Market, several great restaurants and desert places within 5 minute walk. Place was very clean, beds and linens fantastic but best part of the place was proper air conditioning. After several days of 40+ degreees, we can't tell you how good it felt to have great air conditionong. If ever in Rome again will definetley try and stay here again
- Paterra (10/5): We’ll be back! - Great location and very attentive staff—very responsive.
- Stacy (10/5): Will stay again! - The apartment was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was wonderful!
- Robin (10/5): Very nice, spacious apartment in the perfect area - very close to attractions, and many great restaurants were a short w -
- Sarah (7/5): A great stay in Rome - A great location for the apartment . Very central for all the main sights. Very large apartment which was very clean and had everything you needed. It was very noisy during the nights which can be expected being right In the centre however unfortunately we did have very noisy neighbours late at night which did make sleeping in the main bedroom quite difficult.
- Emmanuela (8/5): Very good - Very cosy The toilet had not enough water
