Guest Reviews
- Calida (10/5): - The house was homey and had little extras we weren't expecting. The view was great and the location convenient, just a short walk to Cataract Gorge and just a little further to town. Hosts were friendly and helpful. We would love to come and stay again. We couldn't find a working lighter to light the fire. It would've been nice to have shower gel provided, so we donated ours for the next visitor.

- Rebecca (10/5): Very comfortable and cozy stay - Very clean, excellent communication from the property owner. Plenty of space for the two of us, though you could comfortably fit 4 - 5 people. The house is furnished very nicely. Very easy access with a rental car.
- James (7/5): Good value property with a fantastic owner, but be prepared for steps, and not for anyone that can’t handle steps. - Owner was a pleasure to deal with and was great value. Very average and dangerous steps that had to be used. Wifi that wasn’t good enough to actually use and ants that ended up in bed with dad one night.

- Kalpa (10/5): Enjoyed in this old architectural house - This was one of the best stays we had.
Everyone enjoyed the stay, especially my kid.
Everything was well organized and clean.
It has an own fireplace and wonderful collection of books.
They even had a guitar and bbq facilities.
Kitchen was fully equipped and clear instructions were displayed.
Rooms and the bathroom are good.
The location was near every main attraction.
We are happy with the stay.. cheers
- Clair (9/5): Superb - Everything was very clean and comfortable. The privacy was excellent, and we had everything we needed. I will definitely return the next time I'm in that area.
- Lea (7/5): Good - Love the quirky property.
House gives a feeling of warmth and safety, important when travelling alone with a child.
Great communication with owners. Road noise, but that is to be expected given the location. It did quiet down during the night.
More lighting on the stairs really would be great.
- Doma (1/5): I would never recommend someone this accommodation. It was one of our worst experience. - Just a bit of a view facing the road and part of river/water ways Firstly, we were cheated, we requested a facility for 5 people, not 2 double beds and a kid bed. My son is 185 cm and couldn't fit properly in the kid bed. The owner didn't have any clue of how we spent the 4 nights. Secondly, I have a walking disability and imagine had to walk up the uneven concrete pathway/steps with luggages, plus no proper lighting outside. Thirdly, can't believe, we are 5 people and had only 2.5 toilet paper roll for 4 nights. We had to buy paper rolls and left a spare for others, how stupid is that. The soap dispenser was empty or not working, we had to buy soaps. I can't explain how hard it was to get water with the right temperature, had to play with the tap and tiles are peelling off in the shower. Nearly every window had spider webs and a strange odour outside at the kitchen entrance. Prefer to stop here, i never complained in the past, this the first time i'm doing it, i feel the owner is a very greedy and cheap person.
