- Gordon (8/5): - Rooms were excellent, nicely renovated, pool was a bit dirty, but its now out of season and probably unused anyway. Wanted to mention that there were some reviews mentioning no elevetor, which was totally incorrect! Everything was good, close to the beach and comfortable beds.

- April (8/5): - As other reviews have stated, you can tell that they tried to update the property. It is no longer associated with compass Cove. When you check in, you can tell that they tried however they didn't put a lot of effort into it. There was a big crack above the door to your hotel room, and the bed was also seemed like it was built by hand. The pool and the hot tub were dirty.

Hotel Stay - We were late coming in on a Friday night but once we got here, Shameka (I had to ask her name again....) welcomed us and gave us our card to get into our room. Too excited to sleep by morning it was simply beautiful! By our 3rd day, we discovered so many convenient places to go! đŁđ This is a very good location convenient to everything! The Indigo manager, Rikayah very friendly, when I took a concern to her, she was very attentive and very appreciative and took care of it. We are so happy here that we have opted for one more night! comfortable beds, everything clean, bathroom, there were towels, soap & shampoo, dorm rm refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pool, FREE WIFI the biggest deal for us beach/ocean! â€ïžâ±ïžđ whichever room you stay in. - gabrial (8/5): - Room was clean. Didn't really see the staff. I had 2 rooms and only one got fresh towels. The sink was clogged the whole time in one room so had to go to the other one to brush teeth and wash face. Beautiful views. Pool and hot tub were good.
- Veronica (6/5): Upgrade not finished? - There were no drink machines. The ice machine worked fair. The ice bucket was cracked and looked worn. We were on the 9th floor, I asked, but ended up after hours getting my own towels and a sheet set. I fell right outside the pool gate, against a rail, faulty steps, hurt my arm and it swelled a goose egg size. Told the desk, not even an offer of first aide. Just told me thats the city if Myrtle Beach side. I just wanted some compassion. The parking lot was cracked and lumpy. But the ocean and beach were wonderful and the ocean view from the room on the balcony was glorious. Glass sliding doors, kept the ocean view day and night!

Needs improvement: ceiling has a damaged part and needs repair (shower area) and was reported to front desk. No real lobby. Just a very small office/store. There were 2-3 flies in the room that I had to subdue.

- Verified traveler (2/5): 0/10 - If you want to spend $500 for a weekend getaway involving half functioning tvs/ remotes, constantly killing bugs within the room, constant noise 24/7 and a front desk manager who could careless and not offer any type of help with any of the matters, you should stay here. We had all of these issues and when I asked if we could be moved to another room to at least get a good nights sleep, the response was âwe have rooms available, but we canât do that for youâ
- Monica (8/5): - Overall my stay was alright, the pool area could use some revamping and the main lobby needs to be redecorated, itâs the first impression and itâs very drag and gloomy looking. The room had no forks or bowl and under the bed was not clean at all. The view was amazing and the location for the price it was nice.I will stay again
- Hector (4/5): Bad experience this time. - Poor service. All previous times, we stayed on the higher floors with no problems, and the rooms were in good condition. This means they were spotless and had complete dinnerware and flatware. This time, they were missing. Also, there was no hair dryer in the room. When we asked for it at the front desk, they said it was unavailable. What worsened was that the tiles on the floors got very wet due to heavy condensation on the first floor. Finally, Saturday around midnight, people outside were throwing fireworks and screaming, probably drinking or smoking. Of course, there was no Indigo staff to make a complaint.
- Marc (6/5): - We were suppose to have a kitchen did not. So all meals had to be eaten out but wanted at hotel rather then running around. There was suppose to be a place to do laundry was not. Was suppose to be a place to smoke was not a lady at the front desk told us we could in the parking lot but there was an ashtray in the pool area and we watched people from our balcony out there smoking. WE also had people smoking pot somewhere around us the wind blew in the smell on the balcony. The one lady at the front desk said Hotel. Com always combines it with Compass Cove so if they know these issues then fix them.
- Este (4/5): - Firt room phone didnot work .tv did not work .fridge didnot work had to wait till 2nd day to be moved to another room then the second room sliding glass door handle allmost broke off in our hand was broken .the window molding was not seald had a big crack where thethe window moved back and forth . Reported it nothing was done about itat all . Will never ever stay there again . Also mold in slidind glass doorways . Gross and rude and not on top of their propertys . Maintence was called over 10 times never ahowed up to fix the problems at all . I took pics and videos to document every thing as proof and showed the aupervisor and still nothing done .
- Joseph (10/5): Not perfect, but we will be back - We were very pleased with our stay after a rocky start. The hotel is understaffed. I felt bad for the young lady behind the counter as there is a surge of people showing up at check in and everyday we were there, we only saw one person working at a time. All that being said, she was very friendly even though it was obvious she was overwhelmed and many of the guests were being rude to her. When we got to our room we immediately checked for bed bugs and were pleased to find none. We did however find a that the sheets on one of the bed were not clean. The cleaning staff didn't speak english so it took some work to sort out. The girl at the front counter had a dozen people waiting so I didn't want to bother her. After that, everything was great. The room was very quiet and comfortable. The only complaint I had was there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Not a fan or anything. After showering, it was steam filled for some time. All that being said, we would definitely stay there again. I feel it is an exellent value for what you pay.

- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! - Do not be decieved with the pictures online! It looked very nice online, however, it was a very disappointing experience overall! The rooms did look updated, however it was a very minimum update. The little things really stood out, such as no towel hangers at all in the bathroom. The counter looked unfinished, the door to open the balcony was very hard to open, due to the handle being loose. There were air filters just laying out in the floor. The outside pool was disgusting and not clean at all and the hot tub didn't work. On top of all the little things, our bed was caved in the the top of the bed due to a faulty bed frame that was put together with 2 x4s! We could not sleep on the bed properly. We informed the front desk and nothing was done about it. We literally had to sleep at the foot of the bed and finally put a ironing board under the mattress to solve the sinking bed problem. Overall, I would recommend going to another hotel and to save yourself the disappointment on your vacation.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Felt unsafe and was not very clean - It had good ratings and the pictures on the website looked a lot nicer than the hotel was. The room itself had been remodeled but very cheaply. The shower wouldnât drain, so your shower had to be real quick or it would overflow the shower. They was no deadbolt or secondary locking on the door. Which wasnât an issue until I had a food delivery guy knocking, banging, yelling, and rattling the door knob at 11:30pm. Waking me up. I didnât order anything and he wanted me to open the door, I didnât. It is a motel not a hotel, I donât think that is described well on the website. No workers are on site from 11pm-8am. Local restaurants would slide menus under the door at all hours. It was very dirty. And there were bags of used laundry in the hall right by the elevator everyday. Check in was supposed to be 4pm, the room wasnât ready. Well she had to mop the floors, they should be mopping the floors after every stay. I thought that was odd.
- Denise (6/5): - We were given a 1st floor room near the noisy elevator and the pool was just outside our door with people yelling and screaming all day long until 11:00 pm. I was as hoping to enjoy the beach view from the âbalconyâ, but had to peak through trees and people to see it. There was no hot water in the shower, but the sink did have hot water. It was very odd to say the least. If you donât mind it being noisy and having children screaming all day, itâs not a terrible place to stay. It was fairly clean, although the sofa had many stains on it.

I asked the Clark at the desk to have an upgrade to a room that has actually had an ocean view and he said he couldnât do it. On top of that, the staff there was very noisy. Microwave was stuck so I couldnât even use it.. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

- Tiffany (4/5): No one works until 4pm - The room was not clean. There was still sand, bugs, and debris on the floor when we arrived. There was a black widow spider by the ac unit (that did NOT cool) but it was faster than me. I killed 3 spiders and a random bug before bed. I texted for bug spray and never heard from anyone. The bed was very uncomfortable. The best part is the location. The pool and beach were right outside the door. You're walking distance from many restaurants and shops, and a short drive to the main road for more sites.

- Kim (6/5): - This property is great for the price and convenience! It was not luxurious by any means, but it was very clean and newly renovated. The staff was very kind! The free parking and walk out to the beach was the most convenient I've ever experienced at the coast. The pool was okay and the hot tub was okay. The small grounds area was beautiful with new tables, chairs and huge umbrellas. If we'd had more time there, we would have eaten outside, picnic style. It was located along the main road, so, of course, there was traffic noise and sirens occasionally. The air was nice and cold and our little fan drowned out most noise. The elevator was quick & convenient. The location is exceptionally convenient, about midway between North and South Myrtle. Keep in mind that we did NOT venture out on foot in that BUSY, party area, only to the beach. We were fortunate and did not experience and loud partying.

The housekeeping staff clearly take pride in keeping the hotel in top shape. The location is perfectâjust steps from the beachâand the whole atmosphere felt relaxing and safe. Highly recommend if youâre looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay in Myrtle Beach!

The hotel has an amazing location on the oceanfront, with immediate access to the beach and easy hotel parking. But above all, the most essential thing in our experience has been the peopleâShanika at the front desk and housekeeping. Congrats to all of them. You are all very kind, efficient, and customer-minded. Congrats!

But eah the bathroom is nice lol. Late check out is an extra 50$ which was like almost the same price for the night which was a bit absurd. But is what it is.

- Andrew (2/5): Hotel Hellđ„ - Public hair in the shower .. I found pee by the toilet when I came in the bed went in, it was horrible could not sleep at all they were having a party till 1 am. The door was so hard to open I got hurt. The check out is 10am ! Not as advertised at all such a lie no black out curtains the remote had something disgusting on it . The bed was made with 2 by 4 it was the hotel from hell. Also no hot water. So taking a shower was awful. There was a huge gap in the door at the bottom so you could see right out I had to use towels
