Needs vacuumed better In the corners of the rooms.Walls are marked. Gaps in laminate floor board. Marks on duvet. But the worst is the window. It’s a ground floor flat with a pedestrian walkway at the back of the flats. The lock was hanging of which meant anyone could have raised the window up from the outside and climbed In.. luckily I fixed the lock but only temporary. Did not feel safe or secure. These lack of attention to detail let down the place

• Mike (1/5): - Location was convenient Thank you for your response. Firstly, I dispute the claim that I checked in at “approximately 3:00–4:00 PM”. As the property operates without a staffed check-in desk, this timing appears speculative rather than factual. I had already advised that I would be arriving after work. I do not finish work until around 6 PM, after which I travelled, attended the gym and ate before arrival. Secondly, the primary issue was the unacceptable cleanliness and hygiene condition of the accommodation, particularly the bedding and towels. These were not issues immediately visible upon entering the property, but became apparent when the facilities were actually used later in the evening. The issues identified included: Hair and visible debris throughout the bedding Apparent staining on the bed linen Dirty flooring and debris around furniture Food debris attached to towels when unfolded General poor hygiene standards inconsistent with acceptable accommodation I have attached photographic evidence showing the condition of the property. Your response focuses on the timing of when the complaint was raised rather than the actual condition of the accommodation itself. Regardless of when the issue was reported, the property should have been provided in a clean and hygienic condition before guest arrival. • Constance (7/5): - Die Lage ist super, die Fenster halten den Lärm ab, das Bett war bequem. Die Küche war pragmatisch aber zweckgemäß eingerichtet. Die Dusche war super. Es gab kein WLAN. Das Badezimmer war nicht besonders sauber, die Badematte hatte Flecken und es gab kein Klopapier. Insgesamt täte der Wohnung eine Renovierung gut. Die Information zum Check-in gab es erst kurz vorher, das hat mich etwas nervös gemacht. Die Kaution wurde angemahnt, obwohl wir sie nicht zahlen mussten..

Il n'y a pas assez de vaisselle pour 4 personnes ( 3 cuillères à café pour 4 par exemple.....), rangée sale et mouillée dans les placards, 2 chaises pour 4 à table, pas de café ou autre de prévu pour le petit déjeuner, draps pas trop nets (cheveux et taches...)....etc !

I was booking on the fly and trying to transfer a security deposit and email a photo of my ID from my phone was a bit of an unnecessary pain. The kitchen/living room is a bit bleak (felt like an office from the 1990s) - but had everything you need for a short stay.

If you are approaching the flat from NCP Sheffield Central or NCP Campo Lane you're better going up St. James' Row from its junction with Campo Lane (opposite Paradise Street). Saves going further up the hill than you need to!

Verder heel karig ingericht. Geen toiletpapier aanwezig bij aankomst. En dat voor een hoge betaalde prijs, geen waar voor ons geld gezien de beperkte kwaliteit. Jammer.

Great instructions from the host and very quick to reply to messages. A lovely apartment. Not a very comfortable sofa bed for the 3rd person. apartment was more suited for 2 than three in that case and had to walk through their room to use the bathroom, no main bathroom. Would recommend paying the extra for a three bedroom apartment if it was available if you have a 3rd person.

Clean, and reasonably well-equipped for a short stay for two people Needs a bit of an upgrade decor-wise. Toilet seat broken (but usable). Overpriced for what it was, but possibly price inflated by fact that the Snooker World Championships taking place at the Crucible on those dates. We were somewhat panicked by not being contacted by the property about check in arrangements until the last minute, and their claiming not to have received our deposit, which they shortly afterwards did acknowledge they had received! Also told me they were sending the details about check in and the complete address, but this still did not arrive and I had to telephone again before they finally did. Poor communication.

• Keith (5/5): Passable as a base for a few nights, but I would need a better stocked kitchen to stay here again - Lounge/kitchen area was very spacious, and also handy that it was on the ground floor. The bathroom was very clean and pleasant. The key lock-box seemed high tech! The location was great as we were just a stone's throw from various shops and facilities that we were interested in; most importantly The Crucible (for the snooker) as that was only a 5 minute walk away. The apartment was sufficiently quiet, so no disturbances at night. The TV remote control did not work, and neither did the wifi - the network name printed on the router did not show up on our phones. The host attended and resolved these two issues on day two. The kitchen was severely under stocked. We (4 adults) only had 3 dinner plates, 2 or 3 each of knives, forks and spoons, very few saucepans and no washing up liquid (a dishwasher was available, but would have been nice to have the choice to do it by hand). There was no toaster either; surely a basic thing to provide? We also discovered a cooking pot in the cupboard which contained water with rice floating in it - presumably no one bothered to empty this and wash it up. Given that this apartment has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, it would be reasonable to expect that 4 adults would stay here and therefore should be stocked with 6 or 8 dinner plates, and knives, forks and spoons.

• Peter (9/5): Great location - The location of the property was perfect for exploring Sheffield. Staff provided plenty of information about check in and local parking. Property had plenty of space for us to enjoy our stay Sofa bed provided was a little small for an adult. Still comfortable enough. Some basic necessities would be good, just to make a cup of tea.

• Ian (6/5): Well located and functional but tired. - Excellent location, good kitchen (in terms of facilities), good space. Slightly rundown (torn blind, drawer handle hanging off, sticky carpet). Poorly equipped kitchen (no bottle opener/corkscrew!) Appearance of being poorly managed (towels provided were clean but soaking wet). And the only rental property ever found with not a single sheet of loo paper!

Le personnel a été réactif pour chaque problème mentionné que j ai signalé au téléphone comme le ménage à finaliser eau chaude qui s arrête.. le lit est relativement confortable Il y a plusieurs éléments à mentionner car selon les besoins cela peut être ennuyeux. Ce logement borde la cathédrale qui sonne les heures et demi-heures sans cesse y compris la nuit, avec de toutes petites fenêtres qui ne s'ouvrent pas complétement. Pour avoir un peu de air il faut les laisser ouvertes et on entend donc les cloches. Les photos représentent un ensemble de possibilités et non pas ce qu on trouve dans chaque appart J étais ds le numéro 6 tout en haut sans ascenseur et il n y avait ni grille pain ni cafetière. Le logement que j avais était assez vieux, plaque de cuisson cassée et sale que personne n a réussi à laver, une fenêtre cassée qui ne peut pas s'ouvrir. Quand je suis arrivée le ménage n avait pas été bien fait mais après mon appel l équipe est venue nettoyer le four la vitre de la douche. L équipement est vraiment minimal: tout était en deux exemplaires: 2 petites assiettes, 2 assiettes, 2 verres etc. Nous avons eu un problème avec la chaudière qui a été résolue au bout d'une heure 15 environ. Ce n est donc pas un logement très fonctionnel mais le minimum y est. Il aurait besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement des peintures aussi.

Lobby had rubbish on the floor, not the most welcoming site for a visitor. Carpets have not been vacuumed for a long time. Very dusty. Floors stained. Dirty fingerprints all over kitchen cabinets. Kitchen blind torn and toilet seat broken. Bathroom could do with a good clean.

• Phil (8/5): - The apartment was a generous size with lots of storage. The main living room area was spacious and nicely laid out. The canvases on the walls made the room feel more like a home. The key box was easy enough to operate and the hosts were very flexible for a longer than expected stay. The tumble dryer door had a significant crack in it, resulting in not wanting to use it. The windows are covered on the outside making it near impossible to look out of the window. The WiFi did not initially work (although this was rectified after a message to the hosts). The kitchen equiptment was minimal, with no cups of a reasonable size and no trays to use in the oven for cooking multiple items at once. The television controller was frequently unresponsive and the television itself was slightly unreliable, crashing several times.

• Rhys (1/5): The most disgusting apartment in Sheffield AVOID AT ALL COSTS - We didn't.....the place was filthy and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Beds were made but the linen hadn't been changed from the previous guests there was dirt black bits and hair clearly visible when you pulled back the sheets. Bedding hadn't been changed from previous guests, hairs, black bits and what looked like fleas or droppings possibly all over the linen. Sheets ripped and overall the beds were disgusting. Carpets hadn't been hoovered in a while with bits everywhere and it felt like a place you wouldn't want to take your shoes off. Some of the surfaces were covered in stuff previous guests had spilled and it obviously hadn't been wiped down or cleaned professionally by anyone. Bedroom furniture was broken and hanging off. The fridge was dirty and had mould in it. All the windows were wide open on arrival we think to mask the odour of the place. Overall this place was disgusting and we reported everything immediately to the host who refused to answer their phone 5 separate times. We left and booked a hotel instead and are currently waiting on a full refund from Booking.com. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES STAY HERE OR ANY OF SPACE SAVERS PROPERTIES...their apartments look nothing like their photos

• Jolene (10/5): Great apart - The apartment was in a great location and was able to check in half an hour early. Beds were comfortable and great to have two bathrooms for two couples. Not in a noisy area so very quiet. Had no problems getting the keys with clear introduction. We would definitely stay here again. Not anything really but responding to messages quicker would be a bonus.

• Haoze (1/5): Disgustingly unpleasant. Avoid at all cost - Nothing. It was so dirty when we got there initially, the towels, debris and dusts everywhere, faeces stains on the toilet cover. Cleaner was sent, but the new bedsheets were still stained and dirty, same cloth was used to wipe faeces stains and the tables, the chair, kitchen table and everything, without any cleaning product applied as well, pure water and wash. And after cleaning there’s still debris and dusts just like they never came. Owner claimed they followed standard cleaning procedures which was absurd. The room also look very different as advertised. With all these reasons we did not stay in the flat at all and had to book a new hotel, and the owner still insisted to not refund at all, which I had to raise another case with booking.com customer service.

• Dean (1/5): One of the worst stays I’ve had in a long time - Nothing There were stains on both beds on of which was huge, hairs in both beds, pubic hair on chair, hair in cutlery drawer, bits on floor not hoovered. Moved us to another apartment where things weren’t much better. Hairs in the bed, bedding wasn’t clean, you could scratch things off with your finger. Towels discoloured and had a stain on it which was also raised and not a dye etc. overall, both places were not clean. Got a full refund from booking.com for the entire duration.

The host asked for an additional refundable deposit which is clearly against booking.com policies which states that no further payment will be required. The apartment itself was ok, could have done with a better clean. Surfaces were dusty and the toilet was dirty.

• Ulrike Maren (8/5): super zentrales Apt, komme gern wieder! - Das Apt liegt sehr zentral und hat eine angenehme Größe. Das Bett ist super gemütlich und das Bad neu und ordentlich. Der check in war sehr einfach und eine Kommunikation mit dem Host fast jederezeit möglich und immer sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich!! An der Sauberkeit muss noch gearbeitet werden. Die Ausstattung der Küche sehr spärlich, aber da ich hauptsächlich allein war, hat es für eine Person gereicht.

It looks nothing like the pictures and wouldn't take much effort to just make it look more presentable.it was not clean, stains on the bed sheets and furnisher. The kitchen did not have the very least to cook. Nothing to clean with. Towels looked very old and washed out. I literally went out to get cleaning cloths, mop bucket and mop and sweeping brush as nothing to clean up spills. When I called the staff, they did not get back to me. My advice would be to check to make sure sufficient crockery and utensils in the kitchen, and brush up on the cleaning. A lick of paint would at least make it look less trashy.

• Christina (10/5): Great location and spacious room! - Great central location, easy to access, spacious and clean
• Rob (1/5): Disgusting apartment, not cleaned with hair and snot in the bed! - The location was the only redeeming feature, other than that a totally dreadful experience. The apartment had not been cleaned, there was other people's hair IN and ON the bed (as well as congealed snot IN the bed), truly disgusting. The floors hadn't been vacuumed, so were gritty to walk on - including the bedroom. Bathroom was bad - more other people's hair, the toilet seat was broken, the towel heater electrics looked dangerously broken and the shower temperature couldn't be changed - so was scolding hot. All issues were escalated (with photos) to the property owner, responses were delayed with an eventual offer of 30% compensation made - which I rejected. Still waiting a response several days later. Having stayed here before this was bitterly disappointing, the property management's lack of resolution and tardy customer support is equally telling. Such as shame as the location is great. Booking.com have done nothing to help resolve this.
