Guest Reviews
- Kate (9/5): Very enjoyable but a few extras would have made all the difference. - The apartment was ideal for my husband, myself & our friends. We enjoyed the location, the accommodation & the parking provided. The kitchen area provided sufficient equipment but a small welcome pack would have been so appreciated eg tea, coffee & salt & pepper.
The smaller bedroom with small shower area was difficult for people with mobility problems to manoeuvre. The larger bedroom having the shower in the bath was not an option.

- Gillian (9/5): - The accommodation was lovely, clean and well presented. Communication was very good too. It was a nice walk into Keswick which was just about a mile. There are a couple of places in the village to eat. Nothing really. Maybe a suggestion of having something under the rugs to stop them sliding on the flooring.
- Adam (9/5): Great livation and beautiful property, the management and service in the end was spot on. - There was nothing not to like. It was what I would expect and like home from home. Great service The only let down was initially finding the property but I think more on the part of booking. Com. They had not sent any specific instruction where the property was and the post code took us to the wrong address in the village. The key code they sent to get in was also incorrect!!

- Cheryl (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a beautiful spot - Location was lovely
The scenery was amazing
The cottage was done to a high spec throughout With the property being quite a long way from a convenience shop a few essentials would have been the icing on the cake
Bread and Milk if nothing else
- Elaine (10/5): Blissful break - Location excellent, very comfortable and beautifully laid out Nothing not to like!
- Hazel (9/5): Nice flat. Good location. - Lovely flat. Nice onsuite bathrooms to both bedrooms. Good location in Portinscale. Nice walk into Keswick takes about 15 minutes. Great base to explore marina and Catbells. Bed mattress was a little hard in the main bedroom.
- Sian (9/5): Lovely location clean apartment - Location, short walk along the river to the main town.
Beds/pillows No welcome pack, so make sure you have milk/tea/coffee as no close by shop.
- Craig (10/5): Perfect!! - The cottage was perfect. Exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and was in a perfect location.
The hosts were lovely and at hand when we needed them.
We were very happy with the booking!
We will definitely recommend the property and will be booking again. There was nothing to not like.
- Helen (9/5): Fantastic stay ,we will visit again - Beautiful property ,in a fantastic area ,everything you want was in the property No window in one of the rooms
- Alan (8/5): Very good - The property was clean and inviting and very very comfortable. Perfect base for trips into Keswick and the north western fells.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (8/5): Hit the spot - 2 similar sized bedrooms, nice house Trying to work out the heating, it took it some while to get it up from the initial 16 degrees
- Phil (9/5): Superb -
- Imy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful beautiful house! It feels like home, posh home! You don't need to bring anything, just book and go there! Everything is provided and well thought of.
Location is perfect as well. Just 5 minutes drive to Keswick city centre. That we couldn't stay looooonger!!! Haha!
- Grant (10/5): Great property that has been well thought out and has all the facilities that you need - Great layout and had everything that you needed for a weekend away. Location was perfect for a short walk into Keswick as well as being straight out of the door and onto the fells.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Love coming here. Stayed here twice and booked for nxt year too. - Everything
- Nikki (9/5): Would definitely stay again - Really modern, well thought out. It’s dog friendly but has no garden or courtyard, was a little inconvenient.
- Paul (8/5): Had a great weekend in Keswick and would happily stay here again - Apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed When trying to check in, we were trying the wrong door initially. A map or photograph showing which door would help. The code for the door was also changed on the day we arrived but I didn't get the message as it was emailed. A text would be better
- Andrew (10/5): Wonderful! We will be back. - The apartment had everything we needed and everything was in great condition and spotlessly clean. A fully fitted and kitted kitchen with a dining area, WiFi which worked brilliantly, washer/dryer, 2 lovely en-suite bedrooms and a lounge area.
There is a lovely wee pub (The Farmer's Arms) just a few minutes stroll down the road and Keswick is a comfortable 30 minute walk away.
A parking space is also provided which is less than a minute walk from the apartment. There is public on street parking immediately outside the property but with a full sized coache leaving from the neighbouring hotel each morning and squeezing past the parked cars I'd suggest using the allocated space in the quiet car park.
We absolutely loved it! Next time we will bring our own pillows as the ones in the apartment were a bit soft for our liking. That's just personal preference though.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Well equipped and a great location for the northern lakes
- Chris (6/5): The living accommodation was very nice and comfortable but really spoilt by noise and location. - The decor and facilities are very good. The noise from people staying upstairs; thump, thump across the hard floor all the time. One couple had a dog and they were throwing a ball for it across the room, what a racket. You need to carpet the floors in the upper flats. We weren't expecting to have problems with parking, ( I had to park in the hotel), and having the lounge facing onto the street. The bins out the side of the building were overflowing when we arrived and even fuller when we left on Friday!
- Duke (8/5): Very good -
- Janice (9/5): Lovely weekend stay in a beautiful part of the country. - Location excellent, starting point of many walks. Clean, well equipped apartment. Lovely welcome pack of bread, butter, jam, biscuits. Easy to communicate with host, prompt replies to emails. Dedicated parking spot a bonus. Nothing.
