• Hannah (9/5): Great stay in Albany! - Plenty of room, good layout for family, great facilities and a good location. There was no door to one of the bedrooms which we didn't realise until bed time but all good in the end

• Lorraine (9/5): Overall a lovely apartment. - Clean and well equipped. The bed in the third bedroom was very uncomfortable. And didn’t appear to be suitable for an adult sized person.

• Sue (9/5): We had our little 2year old grandson with us and he said his favourite thing about Albany was the holiday house. 😀 - Very comfortable, clean and well located. Great setup for a family.
• Tammy (10/5): Great stay, will definitely stay here again. - Close to everything. Clean, tidy, suited our needs. Laundry facilities were excellent. Great hot water pressure and great kitchen. Good bed, selection of pillows and nice linen. The back patio/yard didn’t have a gate. Felt a little open as it was near the complex exit.
• Candice (7/5): Great amenities and location, needs a decent clean to improve stay - Great apartment with all the amenities one needs on a trip away from home. Great location, close to town but quiet - perfect for families with young children like us. Check in was straight forward. The apartment was quite dirty which made our stay a bit uncomfortable. Theres dust everywhere - along the skirting boards, my children laid on the carpet in the smaller bedrooms and were COVERED in dust. None of the furniture has been moved recently to clean under (we had to retrieve toys from under the couch and TV unit a few times) there's a popsicle stick and a dirty napkin under the TV unit. We found small black hairs in the shower and long black hairs on the bathroom floor, the lights in the bathrooms are also filthy. The whole apartment needs a really decent clean to make guests feel more comfortable

• Sophie (5/5): - Good location, friendly owners offering fresh bedding for long stay The main bed had a noticeable dip from previous use, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. Additionally, the blinds in the main room let in a lot of sunlight, making it difficult to rest past sunrise. The kitchen was also poorly equipped, with very minimal cooking utensils, which made preparing meals inconvenient. Overall, the place has potential, but these issues made the stay less comfortable than expected.

• Errol (9/5): - This was an awesome set up for us. The house was the most comfortable out of all the places we stayed. Well insulated, good location and the property had a playground. We loved it and had the best sleeps of our trip here! Nothing. It was a great place to stay

• Beverley (9/5): Lovely spacious conveniently located house but unfortunately there were a few cleaning issues. - Lovely spacious house in a convenient location There were a few cleaning issues - electric kettle green/mouldy inside and a couple of boils didn’t shift it, therefore we didn’t use it. We had to scrub the coffee cups before using them as they were badly stained. There was a stain of dirt on the shower wall under the towel rail in the front ensuite. The floor rug in front lounge is a tripping hazard due to it curling up at the entrance to the room - maybe it should be turned around. A lot of dust/dirt behind toilet doors and on top of wall tiles.

• Helen (9/5): Great place to stay - Location was a bit hard to find in the beginning with other units, once found we used the back entry as it was easier. The house was tidy, great with ensuite in one bedroom as my elderly folks used that without waking up others. Great kitchen, 2 lounges was good when you didn't want to watch TV you could go to the other. Nothing we didn't like. The dryer needed lint removed before using as it was full and lolly packets under sofa.

• Sarah (9/5): Superb - Exceptional value for money. The playground was great for young kids. Very clean and fabulous communication from the hosts. Would recommend and return! The master bed could do with an upgrade (size and mattress), it was comfortable but could tell it was well used and the room could easily accommodate a king size for comfort. The back patio could do with some love (chairs/table/umbrella/security fence) to make it a functional space.

• Mehta (2/5): Not liked - Near to shopping centre. No Aircon in bedroom, No proper blanket, kettle and tostar was dirty, $700for 2 nights very expensive, nothing to keep busy your kids apart from TV.

• Kirstie (10/5): Family stay at Frangipani - The apartment was very clean & tidy. Very comfortable for our 2 day stay. We enjoyed the different living spaces. Maybe it needs a bigger couch in the kitchen/dining area if you are watching TV or a movie as a family, the couch wasn't big enough for 4 people. Or I suggest putting the TV in the front room that has the bigger couch already. It could do with better cutlery also and cooking utensils such as a bigger set of tongs. Also it was quite loud with the people driving over the grate in the driveway.

• Andrea (7/5): Good for long and short stays. - We stayed in a spacious three bedroom/ two bathroom villa. It had good facilities which included an equipped laundry a dishwasher and an oven in the kitchen. I have a preference for places with an oven I can cook in especially if it is for longer than a couple of days. The villa looked as if it had been recently renovated. The villa was at the back of the complex where the rubbish bins and service entrance/exit is located so it is noisy with people driving past. There is a courtesy bus to take you to selected restaurants but it is a closed shop and they only take you to places that they have a deal with.

Bathroom ceiling fans were dusty and the headboard in the back-end bedroom. Otherwise, we couldn't fault the place

The not “likes” are suggestions to improve futu - Within a 6 minute drive to Centre of Albany York St. Fast food restaurants close by if wanted. Three bedrooms were comfortable. Beds, linens, bathroom towels were great. Instant coffee, sugar and tea provided. Mgmt company responded quickly to request for additional bathroom towels and salt and pepper. Laundry facilities were good. Parking space for one car. Although cutlery was provided, a set of scissors, decent cutting knives, would benefit a family preparing meals. Primary master suite vertical curtains, did not offer privacy, one of the group members would have liked. A secondary set would be beneficial. Outdoor seating furniture would be a great bonus for future guests. Also, from an appearance overview, have the maintenance personnel, roll up the garden hose on the back patio.
• Peta (6/5): Needs a good spring clean - Disappointed with exterior tidiness of the unit, cobwebs, leaves and dirty windows. The kitchen lacked utensils and rinse aid for dishwasher. The lounge in family room extremely uncomfortable and the ensuite shower needs cleaning. Beds and linen were crisp and comfortable. I found 2 deflated balloons under bed and dirty tissue between lounge cushions. See above

• Ken (8/5): Very enjoyable, clean apartment. Clear and accurate details. - Convenient to most shopping. Mostly quiet with good parking facilities. Vehicles including services trucks using rear exit laneway need to slow down. Very minor speed hump is noisy and largely ineffective.

• Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - It was very spacious, clean and quiet. It had everything we needed including a washing machine and dryer for our use. The spa bath was great to relax in after a long day, which made our stay even more enjoyable. There was no gate on the back yard area, so people driving past could see straight in. The back yard area needs to have the few weeds removed from between the bricks as they had prickles. The couple of steps at the side/back could have a railing for support for those that need it to get up or down them.

• Eric (9/5): fantastic property to spend a few days or longer, centrally located, clean and comfortable and private - Clean, spacious, modern, great layout, well equiped with everything needed, we travelled with another couple and both had privacy with they layout of the property. Self checkin was easy with great communication, instructions sent early so we knew where we were travelling to ahead of time.
