Guest Reviews
- Hollie (8/5): Excellent place to stay if wanting a base for a Snowdon climb - Perfect location and excellent
Beds very comfortable
Really good little book with info about cottage was very helpful Lack of parking but we knew parking wasn’t guaranteed when booking.
Water pressure wasn’t great when showering/filling the bath
Locking/unlocking the door was tricky at times
- James (10/5): Cosy, warm and clean. A perfect stay. - Immaculately clean, warm, welcoming and well equipped. Perfect for a break in wales! Nothing
- Olly (10/5): - This was such a wonderful little cottage, with such an amazing vibe. The surrounding areas were stunning and the little stream running through the garden was gorgeous. Only thing we noticed was the can opener didnt work but thats nothing to do with the property
- Denise (10/5): One of the nicest cottages I have stayed in - Fantastic location, with easy access to Snowdon and Llyn Padarn walks.
The Spar, shops and pub were a couple of minutes away.
The cottage was cosy and amazingly clean, with logs for the fire- and really welcome milk and Welsh cakes to help us settle in.
The host was in constant contact and so kind and helpful. She had left a useful set of walks / runs with maps which were a great way to help us get orientated. It was all great.
- Matthew (9/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Fantastic cottage stay in Snowdonia - Immaculately kept cottage. Well managed and maintained. Good location for access to shops, nearby lake or hiking. Parking could be an issue for large SUVs/vans as it is on a single lane road which can get busy at certain times of the day (photos of the exterior are shown on the site).
- Clive (8/5): Great location for exploring Snowdonia. - Clean, with good facilities.
Good size for a short break.
Managed to park outside for the whole of our stay.
Good small enclosed garden is great for the dog. Glass door to bathroom gives no privacy- had to hang a towel over the door.
- Linda (10/5): Cosy comfortable cottage - The finer details were not left out. Home from home.
- Meadow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (9/5): Superb -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Great Location
- Helen (10/5): Fantastic cottage in a great location- will stay again! - This property is beautiful. Good sized double bedroom and a small single. The fire when going makes the cottage super snuggly. Kitchen facilties are just what we needed and the decking out the back and summer house give you even more living space. Parking out the front is shared but we always got a space. It’s on a quiet road but close to the village The second bedroom has a single bed in with a pull out underneath. It would be tight in there if you had both singles up. It didn’t matter to us but a word of caution
- Patrick (10/5): Great location, we had a wonderful time! -
- Gail (10/5): Well worth a visit. - The cottage was lovely and so well situated. Very close to Snowdon and easy to get to other points of interest. It was clean and very well appointed. The second bedroom is a little snug but still worked fine.
- Galina (10/5): Beautiful cottage in the nice location - Lovely stylish and very clean cottage that accommodated all our needs for a 4 nights break. Lovely cosy well maintained garden with the stream at the back, summer house from which you can see the mountain. Kitchen was well equipped with all you can possibly need. Milk, biscuits and local eggs was a lovely touch. Everything for cleaning and a soap in the bathroom was there as well. Brilliant location - close to everything - llanberis path to Snowdon, waterfall, local shop and caffès. Kathryn let us check in 2 hours earlier although we arrived much later but thank you for this! Like it is mentioned in the other reviews, the second bedroom is more of a single room and 2 single beds are very close to each other - we knew about it and it was fine for us. The bathroom floor is very slippery - guests need to be aware and careful. None of this affected our fantastic stay.
- Koehler (10/5): Totally loved it, it’s the stay one hesitates to give great reviews for because you want to be able to find available in - It was absolutely fabulous in all the right ways. Just the perfect getaway in the perfect town for a getaway. Nicely maintained private back yard garden with enclosed sitting area, sound of a creek running by. Strong WIFi, and great kitchen. All was good but if I had to say something location was slightly uphill from Main Street, no biggie other than to be aware and nothing steep.
- Martyn (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): Really nice stay close to local amenities and brilliant access to the hills. - Really lovely accommodation with a nice outdoors area in the garden. Very close to local amenities. Cosy stay. The spare room can fit two adults but very cosy. However this wasn’t a problem for our group.
- Marcus (10/5): Lovely cottage which is well located. - This beautiful property is small but perfectly formed and is well equipped with everything you will need for a stay in Llanberis. Second bedroom is very small and two single beds are very close.
- Geraldine (10/5): A wonderful break thank you. - Kathryn sent a friendly WhatsApp at 1.30pm to say we could be in Cuddfan at 3 instead of 4pm which was very much appreciated given the icy conditions and early dusk.
She also left an extra bag of logs for the fire.
Parking was available on the road outside the house.
Lovely warm house, cosy, comfortable, quiet and very clean.
Great location, close to the village with pubs and shops open in January. We did three beautiful walks directly from the house. Up the Llanberis Path 2/3 of the way to Snowden’s summit, along Ceunant Street to Foel-goch and another day around the lake.
The mountains can be treacherous so be very cautious.
Thank you Kathryn for a wonderful break. Nothing
