• Kevin (5/5): Location was excellent for me but didn’t realise this was air BnB I didn’t know bookings.com booked - The shower was excellent unfortunately was a shared bathroom with owner. I didn’t see that when booked otherwise I wouldn’t have booked. Sky tv was in room was lovely bonus. No locks on room and one night I woke and sensed the owner standing in the doorway early hours of morning. Didn’t realise it was a Shared bathroom. When booking i assumed it was en-suite I didn’t see shared bathroom …… could be my fault.

• Anne-Line (10/5): Lovely - The main host Sara was very nice, welcoming me into her home and made sure I had all I need for a great stay, showed me around the house, shared kitchen and shared bathroom. Introduced me to their nice dog as well 😁 The room was perfect for me and the bed comfortable. Location was very safe and quiet on a cul de sac. I'll be back for sure. Not much to complain about really. I could even see my car parked in front of the house. On the cul de sac.
• Paul (3/5): - The hostess was helpful My wife and I were given a small room, roughly 11 x 8ft. The double bed had one side flush with the wall and thus no room for a bedside table or lamp. There was no room for tea/coffee facilities. A shared toilet and bathroom. To be fair, other residents had larger rooms. We forfeited one day's stay, leaving a day early. Very disappointed.

• Caroline (8/5): great place to stay en route to london - Lovely room, really comfy bed with proper feather duvet and pillows (much appreciated). We only needed a brief overnight place stay, this was perfect. Quiet location. The hosts were welcoming and not intrusive. I would definitely recommend.

• Pawsey (9/5): Much more pleasant than a stay in a bland hotel it suited my needs perfectly. - Sara Guy and their daughters were very pleasant and made sure my needs were met without being in your face or overbearing. The breakfast was very good. The bed was very comfortable and the quilt was warm. The house was very warm on a bitterly cold night. I enjoyed a film on Netflix. They didn't mind me having a pizza delivered which I ate in the dining room and they didn't mind me leaving at 6.30am. Claude the dog was lovely. No complaints

• Keith Is Leech (8/5): Well located lovely people - Great to have free parking outside, good location, fantastic healthy homemade breakfast. Our hosts were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Amazing basin in the bathroom. Some people may find the room too small and might worry that there was no lock on the room door. Front door key a little temperamental.

• Jon (10/5): Moorcroft delivers comfort and amenities. - Location is great here in South Bucks. I arrived needing to catch up on some sleep and found that no problem here for the few nights I stayed as the house is situated on a quiet cul de sac. The owners are used to having people stay during the week for work, so great to have a bit of cupboard and fridge space so that you can use the kitchen and make it feel more homely. The room was as advertised (double front bedroom), very clean, bright and with the use of SKY on a large TV was a great way to relax at the end of a day. I was working remotely so was able to use the Dining room to do so which really helped with meetings and calls etc. For the down time, the access to the public footpaths at the bottom of the road offer a beautiful way to get into nature and relax either before or after a day's work. I'll definitely be back when I'm next in the area. I'm not usually a fan of a shared bathroom, but with a little communication you can make this work and the shower was excellent. A small blip on an otherwise excellent stay.

• GNI71 (8/5): Heerlijke woning in een wat saai dorpje - Heerlijk huis in rustig plaatsje in Cotswads. We werden getrakteerd op boodschappen die al klaar stonden: eieren, fles wijn, brood. Dat was heel fijn. Badkamer, bed, keuken: prima en mooi! Jammer dat we de eigenaren niet hebben ontmoet. Ook was de omgeving rond het huisje wat saai en was de tuin niet echt fraai.

• Malcolm (5/5): As we had a week of wonderful weather in a good location, we were able to enjoy our holiday, despite - Location was very convenient The description on Booking.com was misleading - it was not made clear that this was a private family home and we would be using the 2 spare rooms in that family home. The description explained ‘units’ with a shared bathroom and kitchen - it was not clear the shared facilities were with the owners. I expected more than 1 shelf in the fridge and more than only 1 cupboard to store food. We were not expecting a dog to be present at the property with free run of the house. This was particularly unsettling when we arrived to dog poo in 3 places on the hall and dining room floors, and I wasn’t expecting to see the kitchen utensils be used on the floor to feed the dog.
