• Vixy (10/5): A very comfortable place to stay - The hotel room has a modern design and feels really cozy. The TV comes with YouTube, which made the stay even better. The toilet was very clean and well-maintained. There are also many food shops nearby, so it’s easy to find something to eat. Parking was convenient and easy too. Overall, a very comfortable stay There is no lift to go upstairs. That's all...the rest is tip top.

• Eko (8/5): Epoch Hotel - This hotel has so much potential with their very friendly and helpful staffs, and of course nothing beats their location. With only less than 2 years old, they really need to do better in their maintenance. The mattress was already losing shape, the wall in the room has so many dirty matks and the towels needs a strong powerful bleach.

• Farid (10/5): Excellent - The place is located at the heart of Taiping. One can walk easily to every landmark of Taiping without any inconvenience such as the Lake Garden or the Bomba Food Court. The room is standard size but very affordable according to the price allocated. There are also dedicated parking spaces for the guests in this hotel plus the staffs were very helpful and polite. Very recommended to stay in this hotel.

• Azul Sidek (8/5): Very nice little hotel in the heart of Taiping - Excellent location, in the centre of Taiping. Nice size room. Friendly staff. The sink is a little small. Body wash and shampoo come in small packets. Not enough.

• Max (4/5): - die Zimmer und das Badezimmer sind extrem klein. Die Quadratmeterangabe kann unmöglich stimmen. Das Bett ist niedrig und uneben durchgelegen
• Kama (9/5): Great location for cake and a walk around the park - I was greeted by a very cheerful person upon checkin. He was also very helpful with my luggage. I terms of location, it was an easy 20 minute walk from the Taiping train station and minutes from Lake Taman. Next door had a fantastic bakery called Breadman Cake House and across the street had a small Japanese sushi restaurant. Also, hawker stalls across the street. The facilities were clean and the AC worked great. The wifi connection was poor at times. I was glad there was a hot water pot and a few glass cups, but it would have been handy to have a mug for hot drinks. Lastly, it wasn't a problem for me, but some may find the lack of an elevator inconvenient.

• Ru Qing (9/5): Economical choice for short getaway trip - the hotel located nearby a few of the hawker centers and pharmacies, without any worries of food and shopping supplies. the beds are comfy, room is spacious without cigarettes smells, nice bathroom. quite quiet neighborhood at night, had a good sleep. there are a few cafe around the streets, which u can explore too. this hotel does not have lift, hence please do consider if you are booking it, other than that it is a good choice for short trip getaway stay.

• Muhammad (6/5): - I was disappointed with the towels provided during my stay. They were smelly and appeared dirty, which made them unpleasant to use. I hope the hotel can improve its laundry and hygiene standards to ensure fresh and clean towels for all guests in the future.

• Ming Hoe (9/5): Good & Comfy Hotel; Will Return Next Year for UTMB Event! - Good - Was here to attend the UTMB event, probably one of the nearest hotel to the race venue - Friendly receptionist - Clean & modern room - Comfy bed - Good wifi - Nearby to many eateries and night market Not So Good - No lift (those with big/heavy luggage or mobility issues may find it difficult to go up the stairs) - Night Market blasted the music quite loud till 12am or more (on a Saturday night) - Poor sound insulation for room (could hear the sound of water flowing through the pipe whenever the upper floor guest is using the toilet) - Shower head for Room 3-04 is leaking (I had to shut off the main incoming valve to keep the toilet dry)
