- Kseniia (10/5): We liked everything. We stayed together and it was very comfortable. The hanok has everything you need. Good location, c - + Very authentic
+ wonderful Evan No

- Michael (10/5): Real cozy feel. Great location centered in Bukchon! But the best part was the constant support from the managing host - - We liked the real feel of a traditional Hanok A few chairs would have helped. To sit and rest or to put on socks.
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- ss2193 (10/5): Beautiful, authentic place - Check in was easy and the host was responsive. The hanok is pretty much a few minutes walk to the old town. We really loved the wooden architecture and furniture and you can actually feel the authenticity of the place, which we really loved (i.e: it wasn't a replica or newly built space). There is something so charming about hanok houses and HamHanok did not disappoint at all. Bonus: If you're feeling peckish during your stay, they have thoughtfuly provided ramen and a portable stove for you to use. The bamboo tea was also a very special touch and unique experience for us. Nothing really. If I were to be picky, it was a wet type of shower room, but that is so minor compared to the whole house and experience.
- Xia (10/5): It worths to stay at this place - It is a cozy and beautiful Hanok house, and offer free coffee and instant noodle at cold winter. This is a place which feel like home. The noise outside
- Guest (9/5): Very good - Very neat and cozy. Filtered water very good the security e.g. locks could be fixed and the other glass window linked to the door would be better if installed
- Leen (10/5): -
- Arzu (10/5): Hamhanok House is the perfect place to experience the joy of Hanok in a traditional, unspoiled and comfortable experienc - A hanok meticulously renovated with fine details, remaining faithful to the traditional and original design. The bathrooms, rooms, and especially the furniture are heirlooms. The courtyard is perfect for a quiet and enjoyable time. All the amenities and details have been carefully considered, including a coffee and water filter machine, a sound system, and all the details. Nothing.
- Ryungson (8/5): - On Booking.com, it said there was a bathtub. But the bath was in the same room as the toilet and a very small shower. It was misleading.

- Carmela (10/5): - Evan was so helpful and the Hanok was absolutely gorgeous and very comfy. The neighborhood where the hanok is was very nice too, close to metro, cafe dotori, cafe onion and london bagel museum.
- Natalia (10/5): Highlight of my trip - A traditional, beautiful and comfy house.
Also great location and a very friendly host. Nothing

- Layla (10/5): Peaceful zen like comfortable place to rest after a busy day exploring Seoul! - The property was very peaceful and decorated with care. It felt very zen like and a good place to relax and renew. The lighting was perfect and the kitchen amenities were also definitely sufficient. The showers were great with nice water pressure and provided soaps. I appreciated the slipped throughout. The location was perfect and felt a little tucked away without being far from everything. Nothing
- Courtney (10/5): Best accommodation in Seoul - Amazing location - lots of cafes and restaurants, near the subway station. The host was always helpful and responsive when we had questions/requests. The place itself was so beautiful and spacious. Nothing
- Marcel (10/5): Eine wunderschönen Unterkunft. Gerne wieder. -
- Pascale (10/5): Absolument magnifique !!!
Rien
- Isabel (10/5): Excellent experience! - Very clean I love everything!
- Daria (10/5): - Hanok splendido. Atmosfera e comfort.
- thunhi (10/5): -
- ZhouYun (10/5): The host was on top of communication. Even go above and beyond to help my family with 1st time visiting Seoul. It’s a gr - It’s a special experience for my family. Even we have tried the Korean clothes to take pictures at the hanok. The owner is very kind and patient to offer help.
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect - I loved everything - the Hanok is so beautiful and comfy, the location was perfect and the host is the nicest - highly recommended !
- Françoise (10/5): -
- Alessandra (10/5): - Un posto incantevole, tradizionale e confortevole. Ottima location
- Susanne (10/5): Great house altogether, with exceptional customer service. - The location is excellent; restaurants, cafés and cultural sites within walking distance, yet quiet and relaxing compared to the rest of Seoul. Knowing Seoul extremely well, I would say it is the best location for a city break in town. It is a traditional Korean Hanok House, means there are no chairs in the house. If sitting on the floor is not your thing, you might struggle.
- Manfred (10/5): Exceptional - The house is very clean, cozy and new. The kitchen is fully equipped. We had a lovely stay here and definitely recommend it. You could argue that it lacks a proper table for meals, but there is also a counter to eat at. This is only a very minor downside and does not lower the 10 rating, because everything else is flawless.
- Dana (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. The hanok itself, it's cosy and beautiful. With timeless pieces throughout, well kept, clean, very zen. Great location with many great individual shops. The host was very helpful and responsive.
- Lawrence (10/5): Must do in Korea - Amazing location, amazing experience, amazing host Everything was perfect!
- Yana (10/5): Exceptional - Real hanok experience! Very authentic. Everything was great
- Tuomas (10/5): Perfect place and location in Oriental Soul. - Perfect location in middle of hectic Soul in "old town" location which is easy and peaceful are with great numbers of intresting stores, cafes and restaurants.
- Chai (10/5): Wonderful Hanokhouse - The Hanokhouse is just perfect in everyway! The displayed of the precious antiques made the place feels even more authentic. Evan has been a great host. He has answered to our requests so promptly and has made our stay so smooth and enjoyable. We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend this place. Nothing
- Adam (9/5): Small but perfectly formed Hanok in a wonderful historic part of Seoul. Far better than a hotel - Charming and comfortable Hanok. Small but perfectly formed with everything we needed for our stay, and so much more interesting than a hotel!
Our hosts, Yuna and Evan, were communicative, kind and gracious before and throughout our stay.
The area is lovely, full of interest and plenty of places to eat or pick up supplies. A 5-10 minute walk to Seoul’s excellent (and inexpensive by European standards) metro, which gets you everywhere you need.
When we’re next in Seoul we’d love to stay here again! Nothing we didn’t like at all!
Worth being aware that to access the second bedroom (which has its own bathroom) from the main area, you need to go through the outside courtyard. Our teens loved this freedom/privacy, but might not suit those with younger children to do this overnight!
- Michelle (10/5): A wonderful hanok experience. - The hanok was very small, but well equipped. Tranquil vibes. Quiet morning stroll in Bukchon. Complimentary bamboo tea and ramen. Nothing.
- Gabrio (10/5): Wonderful stay - Everything
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dinh (10/5): Exceptional - - excellent communication from the moment we booked
- fast response to enquiries
- quick confirmation, provided reassurance (our first family trip)
- our flight was delayed by 2 hours, host met us being dropped off my taxi after midnight (thank you thank you), and gave us a quick induction of the hanok and gifted a plate of the most juiciest fruit
- hanok was clean, cosy, serene, quiet, we felt safe in such a quaint, beautiful neighbourhood.
- minutes to Cafe, restaurant, convenience store, short walk to Anguk station.
- went with My 3 kids, they enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood themselves.
- my teenage son enjoyed his own room and ensuite.
- Christmas tree was a lovely touch.
- we were assured we could ask Yuna anything, they were easily contactable via Whatsapp.
- a wonderful stay, our first stop of our first family trip, I can't thank our hosts enough for opening up their space and for their warm hospitality, I can't wait for you to experience the same. N/a
- Jian (9/5): Great and wonderful experience - The property is very well preserved with its heritage. The property was warm and cozy. Location was on point too. Floor mats weren’t provided in the shower.
- Tomer (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts are amazing, incredibly kind! They supply you with all of the information from things in the hanok to recommended places to be in the area. The sleeping futon is the most comfortable one we have been on in Korea.
- Laura (10/5): beautiful & immemorial experience - Beautiful Hanok in good area and location. Near lot’s of good cafes/ bakeries as good breakfast place and also souvenier shops & convenience stores.
Traditional Korean feel, but at the same really modern feel. The Host was great and very helpful. Mosquitoes wandered in and bit and feasted on my blood.
- Chin (9/5): Superb -
- Andres (10/5): Timeless Korean Charm - The ambiance was traditional but comfy.
- Victoria (9/5): Luxurious hanok stay - The host personally met us at the lodging to introduce us to the accommodation and explain how the keys work. This was an unexpected extra touch that we really appreciated. The space is wonderful, with a large shared indoor kitchen/living area plus two separate bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, and a large private outdoor area. The building is lovely - completely redone inside to feel all new and clean but with perfect historic accuracy regarding the detailing of structure. This made it feel luxurious. The towels were soft and fluffy and the bedding felt exceptionally fresh. There were comfy cushions for extra seating. The host provided complimentary bamboo tea, which was fun to enjoy. The location is very nice, towards the north end of the historic area between Gyeongbokgung Palace and Changgyeonggung Palance, with lots of nice shops and cafes close by.
- Ioannis (10/5): Exceptional -
