Guest Reviews
- Mark (10/5): Highly recommended. Friendly hosts and good value. - Nice and new. Fresh and clean. Good value in a good location. Very quiet street. Maybe a little oversight by not emptying the bin under the sink after the previous guests.
- Cameron (9/5): -
- Teri (9/5): Lovely contemporary accommodation close to town. - Clean, modern, peaceful decor, wonderfully comfortable beds.
Close to township. The only problem was mosquitoes in the room. We all got bites.
- Ray (9/5): - Spacious modern well appointed room Nil
- Marilyn (10/5): Our stay at Trevet - Treveth was perfect for our stay. We loved the large, beautifully furnished room, with a very comfy couch and lovely kitchen area, and it was sparklingly clean. Having access to a lovely garden and swimming pool was a real bonus. The bed was super comfortable and we had an excellent sleep. To top it off, our hosts left us a card and chocolates for our wedding anniversary.
- Andrea (9/5): - Cleanliness of the room Loaf of mouldy bread left in the cupboard
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Fantastic week in the Barossa Valley. - Wonderful location for visiting the Barossa. Exceptionally clean, modern and quiet. Perfect for our needs in exploring wine country. Lovely hospitality by hosts Jan and Murray. Would book again without hesitation!
- Sabrina (9/5): Good location, very clean. - Murray and Jan helped us secure a reservation at 'The Eatery' and were very forthcoming in suggesting a few places to visit in the Barossa Valley. Thank you for leaving milk in the fridge ... and for the wine and chocolates too! No breakfast provided, was it meant to be included? Must check what I paid for. The room size was a bit squashy for 3 people with luggage in tow!
- Waterworth (10/5): Highly recommend this property. Murray and Jan were very welcoming whilst giving us privacy through our stay. - Great location, clean and comfortable.
- Deeb (10/5): It was a wonderful place to stay, and while we were there during the 4 days of +40 deg, the accommodation extremely comf - Extremely clean and well presented The off street parking issue but it was only a minor inconvenience.
- Kim (10/5): Weekend getaway. - Spacious, comfortable and clean- lovely setup.
We booked here as it was close to the cooking school Casa Carboni
- Whittaker (10/5): - The whole accommodation was really nice and well kept
- Angela (10/5): Recommend, easy to get to - Lovely accommodation, nice and peaceful, friendly hosts, super comfy bed. Nice decor and good soace
- Trish (8/5): Lovely , modern & cosy getaway - It was lovely & clean with good quality linen , towells and luxury toiletries . Was surrounded by beautiful well maintained gardens with fresh flowers on the table . Host was friendly & accommodating .
Overall a very pleasant stay 😊 It's the first B & B we've stayed in with no breakfast , so that was disappointing.
- Manuel (10/5): Clean and tidy property, perfect for a short gateway! - 3 mates on a weekend away
Property was clean, facilities were good.
Towels were new, in house products were top quality.
Definitely recommend.
- Janet (10/5): A gem! - Greeted by Murray on our arrival. Beautiful garden view from windows. Well-appointed, well insulated room, & easy on the eye colour palette. Fresh milk was handy to have, nice selection of teas & pod coffee or Robert Timms bag coffee. Loved the colourful crockery, plenty of glasses & mugs. Quality hand wash in bathroom/shower, nice towels. Very comfortable bed. Loved having a bedside table & lamp. Very quiet area, which we loved. Not walking distance to shops or restaurants, but that didn't concern us, as we'd had lunch out. Would stay again. Nothing.
- Matthew (10/5): -
- Hocking (10/5): - Extreamly clean and well presented. A comfy bed aloud for a perfect sleep before the barossa marathon. Its just unfortunate that its winter and we were unable to use the pool 😆
- Deb (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area - We had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for what we needed. It was really comfortable and the facilities were excellent.
- Elaine (10/5): - The B&B was outstanding in every aspect. Furnishings, decor, kitchen accessories, toiletries were all outstanding and best we have experienced anywhere! B&B was spotlessly clean. Would not hesitate to recommend the property and would definitely stay there again.
- Martin (9/5): Clean and spacious quiet retreat. - Lovely spacious and clean. Hosts were welcoming, informative and unintrusive. Nespresso machine with pods, chocolates and a compimentary bottle of wine were a nice touch No breakfast or room service meals available, although shown as available on booking.com website. Parking on the street only but quiet street.
- Astrid (10/5): - We had our own
- Byard (9/5): A great weekend in comfortable, clean, well equipped accomodation - Warm, clean, had everything we needed. A nice walk into Angaston. Very quiet location. The on street parking wasn't great, a narrow street which was very quiet but parking on the verge made it less accessible. This arrangement would make it less appealing for some people, especially older folks
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Tammy (7/5): Nice New Room joined to home. - If your into Airbnb, this is a lovely room. I got tricked by Booking.com. I thought it was a hotel. It is an Air BnB. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it is just not for me. Was booked in a hurry The "1 Queen Room" made me think it was a hotel as I booked on my phone. It was a toss up between Wientel and this, this had a better rating, so chose this without doing the normal research I would do on a computer. My bad. Booking.com should have an "Airbnb" logo next to the property name to make it clear to potential guests. I do not feel comfortable using a pool or BBQ the is part of someones home when the Owners may be present. Air BnB is not for me.. Others may not have an issue, this is just what I dont like. Giving a room a name, I feel was misleading for silly people like me who book on a phone. A bit far from the pub to walk. I cant work out how to shut a key box. Left it open instead of forcing it shut. My partner heard someone close it. This made me feel a little uncomfortable.
- David (10/5): Wish we'd had more time to stay and explore. Would definitely stay here again. - Facilities and location couldn't have been better. Very welcoming. Very quiet neighborhood. Good bed. Great water pressure. Plenty of space. Kitchenette nicely set up with tea/coffee. Didn't have time to enjoy the pool - but it looked lovely. Air freshener used was very potent & too overwhelming.
- Alan (9/5): Superb - A very quiet, cosy, modern home away from home.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Brendon (9/5): Superb -

- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karley (10/5): Exceptional - Room was spotless, felt roomy and as a bonus smelt fantastic. The pool was excellent also. Having bath towels, pool towels and plenty of bedding was great as it saved us needing to pack any.
- Rupert (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Absolute gem of a find for a stay in the Barossa - We had the best stay at the Treveth and we can’t recommend it enough. The accommodation was perfect, quiet, peaceful and made it the ideal location for exploring the Barossa.
Jan and Murray were exceptional hosts. They were friendly, welcoming, helpful and thoughtful throughout our stay. They ensured the room was cool prior to our arrival during a heatwave, and while they were there when we needed them, they also respected our privacy.
The accommodation was spotless and well equipped for a relaxing stay. Both the bed and sofa bed were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The pool was pristine and offered a refreshing escape from the heat.
A huge thank you to Jan and Murray for their fantastic hospitality and the thoughtful complimentary bottle of wine! Can't wait to come again! Few stairs at the side of the house and entry to the pool area. Bit difficult with a mobility walker but managed with assistance.
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderfully cosy and beautifully quiet. It was quite hot on our visit and the pool was a great temperature and very clean. Front door wasca bit difficult to lock.
- Vanessa (8/5): Great facilities, hospitality for 4 adults. - Thank you for the lovely stay! Loved use of the pool on a hot day! Lots of functional and good quality facilities, towels and toiletries etc Sofa bed mattress wasn’t comfortable.
- Shane (9/5): Superb -
- Patricia (10/5): Would definitely stay again for a little longer - Beautifully decorated, very comfortable & were made to feel very welcome
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The owners' kind flexibility regarding our bags when we needed to stay one night elsewhere between the nights we stayed at Treveth. The complimentary bottle of wine! The convenient location for Barossa winery visits, reasonable walking distance down to town for breakfast.
- Sally (9/5): Pleasant and welcoming - Modern, clean, comfortable and cosy yet roomy for two
- Graeme (9/5): Superb - Comfy bed. Lovely decor. Quiet location
- Dean (10/5): Exceptional - I stayed the night before the Barossa Marathon Festival. Got an amazing sleep (which was my #1 priority), it's really well furbished (new, clean, everything works) and really close to all the wineries and Barossa attractions. Jen and Murray are wonderful people. Thank you for letting me stay.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Muhammad (10/5): Cozy - Loved it Nothing not to like
- Donna (10/5): Fantastic, we'd love to visit again. - Lovely comfortable clean room with everything we needed. Hosts Jan and Murray were just lovely, so helpful and friendly. Great location and love the Barossa. And we ordered some of the food from their menu, it was amazing. Can't find a fault. Everything was great. Highly recommend.
- Alana (8/5): Very good -
- Terry (9/5): Very comfortable and well equiped - Excellent setup easy access.
Would recommend
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about this place the beautiful smelling bathroom and the big comfortable bed
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (9/5): great place to stay - Comfortable and convenient room.
Nice quiet location.
Spotless presentation. Need car to get into angaston.
- Davide (10/5): Beautiful clean place to stay, lovely owners who make an amazing breakfast!! -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - We didn’t realise that meals were available and probably would have used that option if we had been there earlier, beautiful accom. Check in was easy and communication was good. Would certainly recommend Didn’t have a clue how to use the Pod coffee maker so some instant coffee satchets would have been handy, but everything else was brilliant and the complimentary Shiraz was appreciated. Weren’t really sure where to park.
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Dee (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (7/5): Excellent...but - Beautiful little place. Modern fresh and clean. Close to everywhere and netflix available. Bed was extremely comfortable. Loved the complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival. It is not completely private. Should disclose it is a room attached to house. But you pay same rate as a hotel room. Want too happy with that. Should be much cheaper for semi private attached room.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): A really lovely stay in fabulous accommodation, with great hosts. - The accommodation is practically brand new. The room, kitchenette and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was lovely on such a hot day.
The hosts, Jan and Murray were so friendly and accommodating.
We had a lovely swim in the pool (pool towels were supplied), and the whole stay was just really pleasant.
We would definitely stay at Treveth again.
Thanks so much Jan and Murray, we loved it!
- Bernice (9/5): It was a very comfortable stay, enjoyed and will recommend to friends. Thankyou. - We didn't have breakfast. The place was beautifully furnished, modern and everything we needed, was there. It was very clean and fresh and close to where we wanted to be. There was no fly spray and we had a few that enjoyed the stay as well!!!!
- Dannielle (9/5): Wonderful short stay accomodation with such lovely hosts and breakfast. - Hosts Jan and Murray were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was delicious, the room was beautiful and clean with all the essentials and the pool was perfect. Jan and Murray also went above and beyond with complimentary wine and even bringing out a cheeseboard while we were having a swim. If you’re after something 100% private then probably not the best option - but it was absolutely perfect for us and we enjoyed every moment.
- David (8/5): Excellent hosts. Also convenient location for many local wineries, +they gave good recommendations - Didn't have breakfast but Murray cooked us dinner twice and it was excellent, everyone who stays should have at least one of his meals
Jan and Murray are excellent and friendly hosts, as well as the comfortable accomodation they were also happy for us to use the lovely pool and the washing machine The only thing was we hadn`t realised there was no cooking facility other than microwave, kettle and toaster, which was a shame as we had food as we had been camping earlier in the holiday. However as previously stated chef Murray cooked for us twice, plus there were plenty of options for eating out
Also couldn't get the TV to work so gave up, however I never bothered to ask, not that important for us
- Mahak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosie (10/5): Loved it! From the food samples and all the little things like good quality shampoo, conditioner provided! - Great facilities, comfy, modern. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like
- Sonia (10/5): Excellent - The room was new, modern, and clean.
It had everything we needed for our short stay in the Barossa N/a
- Lynette (9/5): Superb - I felt the bed was too hard
- Sianna (10/5): Thank you so much for an amazing stay - Clean, beautiful and quaint. Exactly what we needed for a couple nights Nothing Ioved how clean it was
- Zheng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (8/5): Very good -
- Russell (10/5): Fabulous - The hosts could not have more for us than did, we felt that they were friendly and helpful but still kept very private.
The breakfast was amazing as the brother was a chef. Nothing at all.
Very clean and very comfortable we totally recommend the place and the people.
- Kel (10/5): Exceptional - Hosts went above and beyond
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meghan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Meredy (9/5): Lovely room & facilities & would definitely stay again. - Lovely brand new room. Super clean, fresh, comfortable, stylish. Lovely friendly hosts. Very welcoming. Only issue ( if you can call it that as could have just been us) is we were far too hot in bed. Think it was probably the synthetic material in quilt cover which doesn't breath, hence we sweltered in bed resulting in lack of sleep. Cotton quilt cover would be much more comfortable. Other than that, bed very comfy.
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): The guest accommodation is of very high standard ( almost brand new in 2023). - The poperty is very clean, well stocked with essentials and appliances and is generouse insize. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise.
Parking and access was easy and had private entrance.
Good location for acessing the Barossa's attractions.
- Toya (10/5): Delightful 😊👌 - We had a wonderful stay here. The room is beautiful, bright and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. The host went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after and comfortable. It was a lovely personal touch. I wish we had taken advantage of the breakfast offerings though because the menu looked delicious! Hands down, great stay.
- Kelly (10/5): Fantastic accommodation - Great place to stay. Loved all the attention to detail and complimentary inclusions
- Peta (10/5): Pleasantly surprised, such a beautiful Place to stay for a short break. Accommodation was immaculate - Everything was immaculate, so clean and beautifully furnished Couldn't fault it
