- Phadungruangkij (8/5): Superb! - I think the best part is that the hotel is just minutes walk from the holy Bodhnath Stupa, where we can go anytime of day and night (plus free of charge) to see and observe how the locals come to prayers.

Included breakfast very good and very substantial. Lovely old building and garden kept very nice. It’s an older house and a few things are showing their age, like the toilet paper holder needs better attachment to the wall. But very small things, didn’t take away from enjoying my stay.

- Paul (10/5): Top class homely accommodation in Boudha - Hotel Butsugen is an extremely well run hotel, incredibly clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The location is also great for access to the Stupa but also a little set back from the main busy areas. The best part is the lovely owners that make you feel so welcome and at home during your stay. I will definitely stay here again if I am in Boudha. Nothing.

- Wah (5/5): Hotel shall keep the promise to guest. - The owner and their staff are really friendly and helpful. The distance to bounath stupa so convenient I confirmed stupa view available and book it but I didn't get it because the guest extend the stay. I was so disappointed, as split from my friends , and took the trouble to stay one night here because of the stupa view , and near to stupa. My friends stay at thamel. The hotel should tell the guest the stupa view room already booked and they can extend stay at other room.

Friendliest staff you will find anywhere. They took care of us so well, we felt we were in a guesthouse! A bit noisy during the night. This is to be expected as Kathmandy is a busy city and buildings and windows are not particularly well insulated.

Owners and staff vey helpful and good service. Spotless clean! Continental breakfast ok. Very good location. The water for shower was tepid but not hot brrrrrr... For some guests toilet brush would be appreciated because they want to leave the bathroom clean.
