We were travelling and did not s - We did not even get to stay at the property as the property owners cancelled our stay. The owners stated they had an emergency and closed the room. As a business we would have thought they would have someone take care of their bookings during the emergency.

The extras that were there were brilliant and well thought of. ie toothbrush toothpaste knife fork etc. this is the second time we have stayed here and it hasn’t disappointed. We are looking to move to the area so this will be our go to place to stay while we look. Fantastic place. Very comfy. Water from the shower tray flowed over
• Christine (9/5): Lovely little gem - Great location to attend a wedding at Oake Manor Golf Club. Easy check in and very comfortable bed! Lovely and clean and excellent facilities. Not really a complaint but could do with a blind or something to stop the light early in the mornings.

• Robert (10/5): Great place to stay! - The facilities generally and the thoughtful attention to detail throughout the room. It's self check in and all you need to know is in a text/email, received prior to arrival. If you need anything during your stay, a quick WhatsApp message to the lovely, helpful owners will ensure your needs are satisfied very quickly! Having to park on the road or in a nearby carpark. Not a huge problem though. There is sufficient room to stop and drop off any luggage before parking up.

• Anne (10/5): A delightful gem in the heart of rural Somerset. - The property is situated in a small village and was very quiet despite being on the principle road through the village - it's delightfully rural but also has good links to the A38 and to Taunton. The nearby village shop with post office (and plenty of parking) was an added bonus. The accommodation was excellent with a comfortable bed, choice of pillows and a 2 seater settee which made it easy for us to enjoy a cuppa while watching the flat screen TV. The absence of breakfast wasn't an issue as there was a full size kettle, well stocked hospitality tray and useful table on which to set out our own alfresco breakfast. Off the bedroom is a large walk-in dressing-room/utility cupboard well equipped with hanging rails, large chest of drawers, ironing board and iron, and even a foldaway airer. The hostess was lovely and happy to deliver top-up supplies as well as fresh towels whenever needed.

• Juliaw66 (9/5): Exceeded expectations - The room was fantastic. It's in a small village so is very quiet, even though it's on the main road. The room had bottled water, tea, coffee, milk, and a kettle. It had a large walk-in area to store your luggage complete with iron, board, hairdryer, and a chest of drawers. The bathroom had shampoo and body wash and lovely large towels. The shower was amazing with a waterfall option as well as the normal jet. There was also a pack of essentials on the bed, just in case you'd forgotten your toothbrush or toothpaste, a comb or hair bobble and included a sewing kit. A lovely touch and so thoughtful. The settee was a recliner and the TV was Netflix, Prime, and Rakuten enabled. You just need to log in and watch. The bed was comfortable and the wifi was good but there is no mobile phone signal or network coverage so be prepared to have a quiet relaxing time, free from annoying phone calls. There is a pub within a 10min walk and the food was lovely. I was further away from Taunton than I anticipated but a fabulous place to stay. Nothing to dislike, everything was great.

• Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The room was just what we needed for our 1 night stay. We went to see a tribute act at golf club which was a 10 minute walk. The room was clean and had all the extras we didn't expect, like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and an emergency bag with a sewing kit, toothbrush, toothbrush, comb etc. I would definitely recommend for a short stay.

• Jennifer (7/5): Good - The room was very clean and the ensuite was clean and fine. The bed was very comfortable and facilities were good. The room was very cold no heating on at all, we sat with our coats on also TV not tuned in. As an older couple we didn't know how to change anything. In fairness our stay was in June and you don't expect to have your heating on but it was a very cold weekend and some form of heating would have been more comfortable.

Some little extra’s - bottled water/toiletries/biscuits which was nice. The bedroom window was directly overlooked by cars in the car park - as a single female traveller that made me uncomfortable. I didn’t want to draw the curtains or the blind as it was a beautiful evening. A bit of privacy screening on the lower window would really help.

• De (6/5): Pleasant - It was clean and had everything we needed. The fan in the bathroom went continuously through the night. Could not switch it off. Owners not very welcoming, there were suggestions of two or three places to eat but no indication as to where they were and as it was out in the country side had no idea where to find them.

• Charli (10/5): A brilliant room, very spacious and clean! - The room was spacious and very clean. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and we loved the little bottles of shower gels/shampoos and the packaged toothbrushes with tiny toothpastes. The USB sockets on the plugs were also super helpful for charging our electronics! We also loved that it was a self check in and we were given a code to the door as we were unable to provide a specific check in time. The parking was slightly awkward as we couldn’t park on the drive and had to result to parking on the side of the road, but we were prewarned about that in the welcome email.

Nowhere local to eat in the evening but there were plenty of good choices for delivery. As I was there for work I really appreciated the electrical sockets with USB plugs all over the room. Large walk-in closet meant I wasn't tripping over my suitcase all evening. Nothing
• Anonymous (10/5): Excellent value for money, superb cleanliness and great provision of little necessities one may need. - This property was very well presented, very clean and well laid out! Good quality bed, bedding and lovely plump pillows. Excellent provisions supplied with lots of little extras you may need that you wouldn't think about taking with you, a sewing kit, an iron should you need one, female sanitary products for those unexpected times. Simply wonderful! NIL. Property was lovely, within a quiet area also.

• Madeleine (8/5): Very comfortable, - Quiet location, Very clean. There was no available off street parking. I did not consider it was safe to park in the narrow residential street outside, I would have been the only car as the other houses had off street parking. I parked in a lay by up the road, I had trouble getting on the internet but I managed eventually. This could by my fault. There was no mobile signal or it was not strong enough for me to make a phone call or send a text.

Everything was thought of ie:- iron, ironing board, hairdryer and shower was very nice 👌 We didn't plan our trip very well and realised that really you need transport as public transport is few and far between!! And although the place for people who drive it would be absolutely fantastic 👌 Xxx Only thing that we didn't consider was the distance from the Town Centre! So our own fault really 😕 Xxx

• Lynn (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable room. Lovely extras available if needed and good local information provided. Owners made contact to ensure arrived safely and available if needed. No coat hangers available. Bed linen needed ironing.
• Robert (10/5): High standard accommodation in a tranquil location. Loved it!! - Woolaway is a new build property that had been constructed to an exceptionally high standard. The room was large as was the bathroom and shower and overall cleanliness, exceptional. The location is rural so tranquil but there is a golf club in Oake and a pub, The Orchard very nearby. Breakfast isn't provided so guests need to take their own morning snacks but Taunton is not far away. I had the best night sleep I've had in ages, the bed being very comfortable indeed. Woolaway is a lovely place and I can't wait for my next visit. Woolaway is faultless and there was nothing I disliked. Looking forward to visiting again.

• Lort-johnson (10/5): A lovely stay in a great location, highly recommend - My room was lovely, with a shower room en-suite and a walk in dressing room/wardrobe. The bed & reclining sofa were comfortable. The bedside power sockets had usb slots for charging mobiles/iPads which is a nice touch. Woolaway was immaculately clean & warm. My hosts were professional and friendly, providing an excellent service. I highly recommend Woolaway and would stay again. There wasn’t anything I disliked.
