• Rasmussen (8/5): Et nydelig sted for rekreasjon og ro. Men manglet litt for å få full score. - Perfekt beliggenhet midt i Fjordgården. Nært å gå til startpunkt for toppturer. Fin utsikt fra stua, med store vinduer og en trivelig sittegruppe vendt ut mot havet. Gode senger på alle soverom og generelt god standard. Rent og innbydende i hele huset, utenom på kjøkkenet. Kjøkkenet kunne trengt en rundvask. Man fikk følelsen av å få et fett-lag på fingrene når man tok rundt flere steder på kjøkkenet/kjøkkeninnredningen. Skuffa under ovnen var full av smuler og gamle matrester. Kjøkkenet var også veldig dårlig utstyrt. Når det står grunnleggende kjøkkenutstyr tenker jeg det manglet en hel del. F.eks desiliter mål, dørslag, suppetallerkner, grønnsak-skreller, saks som det faktisk går i klippe med (de 2 som lå der gikk det ikke ann å klippe noe som helst med). Så det var litt skuffende.

• Meggie (10/5): A cozy, well-equipped home in the perfect location—just steps from the Hesten trail, with everything - We stayed at this lovely guesthouse for three nights (July 8–10) and absolutely loved it! The house has three floors—our group stayed on the second and third floors, with one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. There’s a shared bathroom on the ground floor, and everything was clean and well maintained. The house is spacious and fully equipped, with two living rooms, two dining areas, and a kitchen that has everything you need. The fridge even had some food ready for us, which was a nice surprise. The interior is filled with decorations and personal touches—it truly felt like a home, not just a place to stay. The location is unbeatable—just a few meters from the starting point of the Hesten trail! There’s a convenient parking spot right by the door, and after a long hike, relaxing in the outdoor Jacuzzi was pure bliss. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Senja area in comfort and style! The only minor downside was the shared bathroom on the ground floor, but it was clean and close by, so it wasn’t a big issue. Especially appreciated the bathroom and the washer/dryer—being able to do laundry after hiking Hesten was incredibly convenient.

• David (8/5): Very good - Great location for hiking, well furnished, very comfortable, nice decor WiFi did not work, never heard back from host about it. I used the Ethernet cord from the router by the TV to hardwire my laptop and that worked well for me

The views from the house are awesome . You will enjoy spending more time in this place than going ! A caring host who ensures a smooth check in and trouble free check out ! Hoping to be back and stay again . Would surely recommend strongly to all family and friends heading this way or ask them to if they want a memorable stay and holiday ! Everything was perfect . Nothing negative to comment about!

• Yiling (10/5): Incredible place with stunning views - This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The views are simply breathtaking! We would have loved to stay for longer. The house was comfortable, large, and had all the amenities. We were able to cook there and launder clothes. The hot tub was so nice to use after a half day hike up Heston (which is very close by!). Such a perfect location. The host was so friendly. When our 3yo broke two glasses, she was so understanding. Nothing

• Mary (10/5): Cozy with a beautiful view! - The house was very cozy and a comfortable place to come back to relax after a long and cold hike up to Hesten (trailhead was just up the road so we didn’t have to worry about parking, hiked right from our front door!). Bed was comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing! My favorite part was enjoying a cup of coffee while sitting in the rocking chair and looking out over Fjordgard… truly beautiful!!! We even saw the northern lights one evening from the front yard!
• Ondřej (9/5): A very comfortable vacation house, situated in a fantastic locality. - This is a very comfortable and well equipped house, suitable for up to 6 people, situated in a fantastic locality, surrounded by mountains and fjords. 24/7 store and a restaurant (open till 10 p.m.) in 10 min. walking distance. Marked tourist routes to 3 mountain peaks start just in front of the house door. The equipment includes: washer, dryer, dishwasher, whirlpool, kitchen equipment etc. The key was available in a keybox (opening number sent by e-mail). We were completely satified, thanks a lot once more. Nothing special to complain.

• Ralitsa (10/5): Spacy and cozy house in a great location to see around Senja - We have been to many places and we have never expected to find one of the warmest hospitality in cold Senja. Rigmorhuset is a lovely, cozy, spacy house with a beautiful view to the sea and fjords. It comfortably accommodates 6(+) people. The house has a spacious well-equipped kitchen with 2 coffee machines (espresso and filter coffee and coffee supply enough for 10 days), a spacious and clean bathroom equipped with new high class washing machine and dryer machine. Spacy and cozy living rooms with a big table for in-house dining and a chill-out corner with a beautiful view to the bey. The bedrooms are cozy and beds are very comfortable. We loved the house but what really made the difference and turned our stay into a (even more) pleasant surprise was the host – Camilla. This lady is one of a kind – a warm, customer-friendly host and a beautiful person! Despite the late check in hour, she help us find a charging solution for our e-car, brought us a big dish of freshly caught shrimps and a still hot freshly baked cake (delicious – you have to try it in her restaurant at the entrance of the village), when we invited her over for a coffee. A big plus to stay in Fjordgard (than other places in Senja) is that there is a great restaurant with a nice view and the best fish and chips (owned by Camilla and her family) and 24x7 self-service supermarket (no other shops work 24x7 incl Sundays) in Senja.
