Robyn (8/5): Best holiday we have had for a long time - Great location away from the busyness of Apollo Bay, but with easy access for shopping etc. Often had local beaches to ourselves. Magic! The house was an older style beach house, nothing flash, but full of nostalgia for us (70 year olds). Polished wood floors and other features just like an old family beach house at Torquay. Great bird life around the house. We were lucky to have very benign weather, which meant we were on the beach every day. A bit tight on the consumables. We had booked for a week but had to buy basics like salt, toilet paper etc which were in short supply or not available at all. For nearly a thousand bucks, you would expect a little more.
Michael (5/5): Warm and comfortable but needs a good update for what they want to charge. - The Accommodation is warm and has comfortable bedding with fantastic location and drivable distance to apollo bay. On first appearance driving into the property, it's a rundown beach shack. The furniture is run down and needs a update. while staying it became a suspicion to us pretty quickly that the owners live in close proximity to the house. My advice would be if you want to have a list of cleaning rules for people coming to enjoy a holiday, please provide a more compact and better vacuum and cleaning products or hire a cleaner and provide enough hot water for travelers to make it an enjoyable stay.
