O Fernando e a Belén são extremamente simpáticos e atenciosos, o que tornou toda a experiência ainda mais agradável. As instalações estão impecáveis e o quarto é simplesmente fantástico — confortável, acolhedor e perfeito para uma noite muito bem dormida. A localização é excelente, num ambiente tranquilo que permite realmente descansar. Recomendo vivamente e voltaria sem hesitar! Não poder ficar mais tempo.

Fernando y Begoña han sido unos anfitriones extraordinarios: cercanos, atentos y siempre dispuestos a hacer que nuestra estancia fuese perfecta. Su trato humano marca la diferencia y consigue que uno se sienta no como un huésped, sino como en casa. Y si hay alguien que merece una mención aún más especial es Pilar, la matriarca, cuya presencia aporta un encanto único al lugar. • Alina (2/5): Давно не было так некомфортно! - Мне понравилось, что было хорошее местоположение, и то что хозяйка дала проездной для електрички в город (проезд мы оплатили самостоятельно) И напротив дома есть бесплатная парковка (хотя вам изначально будут пытаться продать парковку за 8€ на их территории) В объявлении написано, что для использования есть кухня, хотя это не так. Мы приехали с продуктами и мне сделали одолжение и положили в ИХ холодильник. Это был не номер, это просто комната, в которой нет даже стакана для воды и чайника… мы вернулись к 22 в номер и хотели выпить стакан горячей воды, но мы не знали где находятся стаканы, а искать по всем шкафам было неприятно, чайника на кухне я тоже не нашла. Считаю, что можно было выделить угол для гостей со стаканами, чайником и тд. Я искренне не понимаю почему такие положительные отзывы. Более того, нужно постоянно звать хозяйку/хозяина, чтобы они придержали собак и мы могли выйти или зайти…

• motorradhomer (8/5): Tolle Unterkunft mit Charakter bei sehr lieben Menschen. Danke - Ein besonders schönes Anwesen mit familiärem Charakter. Tolle große Zimmer mit sehr schöner Ausstattung. Man sollte Tiere mögen, denn es sind einige da und teils sehr zutraulich aber keinesfalls störend. Persönlicher Eindruck: meine Matratze ärgerte mich nachts mit einzelnen Federn des Kerns. Entweder bin ich empfindlich, oder die ist zwar hochwertig, aber etwas durchgelegen.
• Vanesa (10/5): Como un apartamento en una casa de amigos - Nosotros cogimos la habitación de arriba que es la individual que no comparte baño, estaba muy bien, era como tener un apartamento para ti solo, porque es la buhardilla de la casa para ti solo, tenía cocina americana, y una parte como si fuera el salón y la cama de matrimonio, por las ventanas se veía toda la finca, que tiene muchos animales, hay gallinas, patos, perros y gato. Y luego separado estaba el baño, con una ducha bastante grande. Los anfitriones de la casa muy bien, te informaban de todo lo que necesitarás. No hubo nada que no nos gustara.

Está bien si te gusta entablar conversación con los hogareños al llegar. La cama muy cómoda y las sabanas suaves. Baño compartido siempre limpio. Tienes parking gratis delante. No te sientes del todo libre, hay un poco de control en todo lo que haces. Si te da igual eso, está muy bien.

• Paul (10/5): Comfortable short stay in commuting distance of Bilbao - Located 230m from the rail station with excellent connection to Bilbao. The locality itself is a nice enough commuter town, didn't really spend any time there. The accommodation is located in a quiet area. No English spoken and none expected; we used AI translator. Very friendly welcome and hugs from the lady of the house on departure. Good breakfast of turkey ham omelette, sausages, pastries, toast and jams, juice, coffee, sweet cakes. Only downside is that as the dogs, Generals Patton....I forget. have free run of the garden until 10 at night you have to access the property by ringing the entryphone at the garden gate. After 10 you can use your own key. To leave the property requires an escort to the gate to stop the dogs getting out. I'm not a dog lover, but these were all very well behaved and delightful. I'd go back again.

I will continue to visit as it is a very well run accommodation, with wonderful hosts, impeccable, accessible, has lovely grounds, very secured, parking. The shared bathroom is modern, clean, excellent shower; the rooms are ample and comfortable; I really love their beds and pillows. That I couldn’t stay longer.

• erwin groeneveld (8/5): nice and cosy rooms, helpful hosts - convinient location, great appartments/rooms, clean. host Fernando is very helpful but maybe a tad too much, especially if you arrive after a long drive you'd prefer to receive basic information in the first place and go to your room instead of getting time consuming details and chit chat. But nice hosts who talk to you a lot;-) park your car behind the fence, the neighborhood isn't the safest at the moment according to our experiences: people broke into our car and took our stuff! Police got involved.

• Jeroen (9/5): heerlijke plek, dicht bij Bilbao - Mooi huis en een ruime, goed ingerichte grote kamer. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw! Wij moesten redelijk vroeg (06.30) weg maar dat was geen enkel probleem. Parkeren op het terrein is mogelijk (tegen een bescheiden vergoeding) en we mochten gebruik maken van de OV-kaart. Treinstation is vlakbij waarmee het centrum van Bilbao binnen 20 minuten bereikbaar is. Het terrein bij het huis is ommuurd en in verband met de loslopende honden is het vrij in- en uitgaan wat beperkt.
• Joan Toni (10/5): Pels que ens fixem en els detalls - Fantàstic, en Fernando l'amfitrió va ser excepcional i va ajudar a que l'estada fos el millor possible. Na Belén també molt amable.´ Els tres gossos i el gat també es van portar d'allò més bé! Totalment recomanable. Malauradament el canvi climàtic ens obligarà a tots potser a repensar la opció de tenir aire condicionat (o alguna alternativa) els dies de forta calor, com va ser el cas. No obstant les indicacions i advertiments previs van ajudar a quadrar bé els moments en què disftutar de l'habitació tot i la falta d'aire condicionat.
• IRENE (5/5): Incomodo - Me gustó la ubicación aunque utilizamos el coche, el tren está a 5 minutos. Hay un Mercadona muy cerca. La habitación es funcional, muy bonita decorada, la cama muy cómoda. Cuando realice la reserva me puse en contacto con ellos para avisarles que iba con un niño pequeño, necesitaba hacer uso de la cocina. Cuando llegamos ni se acordaban de que éramos 3. El uso de la cocina es en la vivienda particular. Por supuesto que no me pusieron problemas pero no me comentaron que las zonas comunes son de una vivienda particular. El sofá cama no es tal, es un sofá extraíble que hacen de cama.... El menaje del "office" son 3 platos, 3 tenedores, 3 cucharas, y 2 cuchillos malos de Ikea. Muchos vasos pequeños,...en resumen es un espacio para dormir, tomarte un café, o un te, calentar algo rápido, ducha y ya. Hay unas escaleras para acceder a la habitación pequeñas y empinadas. Hay un aparcamiento fuera justo en la entrada. Nos dijeron que estaba habiendo robos y nos ofrecieron aparcar dentro por un coste de 8€ la noche en un espacio minúsculo y muy mal para maniobrar. El día de la salida este coste añadido no se podía pagar con tarjeta únicamente en efectivo. Soy usuaria de este tipo de alojamientos y nunca me he sentido más incómoda que este lugar. Belén y Fernando son agradables pero la sensación es que intentan sacar provecho de unas instalaciones un poco exageradas. Tiene muchos animales sueltos, mi hijo disfruto mucho viéndoles pero cada vez que hay que salir hay que avisarles para que los guarden y lo mismo al entrar. Te preguntan a qué vas a salir....en fin, cosas que no nos gustaron nada cuando estás pagando un dinero por unas instalaciones y no solo por una única habitación.

They are really helpful providing information on the public transport to Bilbao and places to visit. The rooms are very clean - spotless. It is really the best "pied-a-terre" for a couple days in Bilbao. Highly recommemded.

• Anna (8/5): Very good - Room was nice and comfy. Good shower. Owners very helpful. They gave us a card to travel by train to the city. Best way to explore Bilbao. It was a bit noisy. They have chickens and rooster so expect wake up call very early in the morning.
• Marta (10/5): Quiet, comfortable, restorative, and well managed, highly recommended - I was exceedingly late arriving to Lekuona and Fernando was gracious and communicative. The house is impeccable, extreme attention to detail for the guests comfort; the bed and pillows were of absolute highest quality, I wished I could have stayed there longer just to sleep and rest; the bathroom very clean, great shower, monogrammed towels. Very quiet. I had to leave at dawn to the airport, and it couldn’t have been more conveniently located to drive. I will return to Lekuona. That I couldn’t sleep longer in that wonderful bed.

• Erling (10/5): Fantastic place! 10/10 - Very nice place in the vicinity of the train station in Galdakao. The host, Fernando, and his sister are both very friendly and helpful. The house and garden are very nice and the so are all the animals living there. Would absolutely recommend

• Adrienn (9/5): Peaceful homestay close to Bilbao - A lovely family house with attentive hosts, lots of animals around, comfy bed, and quiet at night. Train transportation is very easy and fast to Bilbao and elsewhere too. We were welcome to use the shared kitchen for some simple meals. n/a

• Melika (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the house and grounds. I was spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed being around the animals and it was a peaceful environment. It was also incredibly welcoming and I felt taken care of and like a part of the family. The local town is quite quiet and there are few food options during the week. However, bilbao is very close by tram and had lots of options.

• Brian (5/5): Passable - Proximity to the train station and town Dogs, cats, chickens and their freedom around property. Also the property lacks privacy as the owners live in the accommodation. Also the cat hairs on the bed were disappointing
• Ian (9/5): Excellent hosts, location, facilities and room - The room was fantastic, and hosts.extremely friendly and helpful. The property was close to public transport, which was really good and our hosts were very helpful with providing information and travel cards. Within walking distance of a selection of bars and shops. Initially didn't expect three dogs at the property but ended up very friendly and no problem with them. However, surrounding the property there were⁸ a lot of barking dogs and quite a lot of noise. This didn't spoil our stay.
