Guest Reviews
- Gareth (8/5): Worked well for us. - Great location with 2 great beaches very close by. Also the oyster catcher restaurant and an also very close by. A large garden at the back which was great for the dogs. Cottage was next to a very fast main road. Not a major problem but something to be mindful with small children and dogs etc
- Angela (8/5): Gorgeous stay in a beautiful location. - Amazing location & great garden for the dogs Could have done with some basic supplies like cloth/tea towels
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - It was very quiet and the beaches were lovely for our dog There was nothing we didn't like at all
- Johanna (7/5): Perfect get away to visit the island. - Fantastic location a few hundred yards walk through the dunes to a beautiful beach. Surrounded by farmer’s fields so peaceful and private with a back garden. Log fire. Comfy beds although the bunk beds did squeak anytime someone moved!
The kitchen tap stopped working while we were there but someone came to fix it within a couple of hours so excellent service. The property is basic in decoration and what was provided, but very well priced. Eg: no salt, only 1.5 loo rolls! Washing line but no pegs.
Bath towels were tiny and rather thin.
It’s on a very fast road so quite noisy sleeping in the front bedroom.
- Helen (10/5): gorgeous & cosy had the weather too - Gorgeous stay, even though it was on a main road the traffic wasn't bad at all, few racing cars on the way to track but that did not bother us, the size of the garden for the dogs was great, and the views over the field too. cosy cottage and loved it. Garden is great for doggos although the fences are low if you have a jumper then this would not be good for them as they can get over the fences if they wanted too into the field near a busy road. no salt but pepper :) could do with some other bits like Kitchen roll and maybe a supply of doggy poop bags/treats as we forgot ours :( yes there is a shop down the road which sells everything and we did go to get them.
- Hazydavelwood (8/5): Mid week break - Great base for exploring, just a short stroll to a lovely beach, close to Rhosneigr and another lovely beach. Could spend hours watching the planes from RAF Valley. The weather was perfect to just sit outside in the garden.
- Madeline (8/5): Very comfortable and cozy cottage. I would definitely stay here again. -
- Andrew (8/5): Beautiful beachside location - Its position was so close to the beach.Comfortable enough for us too. It lacked the little touches that we are used to.the crockery and cutlery was basic no foil, kitchen towel etc that was promised.t bottle of wine was nice but a little bottle of milk and a bit of a welcome pack would have been nice.
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant -
- Vicky (9/5): Lovely short stay in a cosy cottage - I loved everything about the cottage. From the furnishings to the wonderful views. The cottage was so well presented and clean. Felt very homely and cosy. There was nothing I didn’t like
- Eileen (10/5): Exceptional - Location and clean cottage
Enclosed garden for my dog
