• Joost (10/5): Great value for money, very kind host, clean&well equipped - Very well equipped for the price, very comfortable and clean and while some things are shared, you do have your own coffee maker and kettle. Grieke is very friendly and goes out her way to accommodate you and make your stay enjoyable. I definitely and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable clean place (excellent value for money!) in or around Zwolle. If I were to find anything - and this really is a first-world-problem - the place is within hearing distance of a dual carriageway. However, this did not cause any inconvenience for me and I slept like a baby.
• Li (10/5): Incredible Value and Exceptional Kindness - Our stay was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the room with two single beds, and for this price in Zwolle, it offers incredible value, truly one of the best deals you could find. The room was spotless and had everything we could possibly need: soft blankets, fresh towels, all the essentials, and even coffee ready for us. Everything was freshly washed and impeccably clean. It felt cozy, welcoming, and genuinely like a home away from home. The house has such a warm atmosphere, and the host was very kind. She and her friend were both so friendly, and we really enjoyed our conversations. She gave us the warmest welcome and made sure we were completely comfortable. The quiet garden behind the house, with its own beehives and natural honey, was such a lovely and unique touch. What meant the most to us was her picking up my friend from the train station late at night after his train was heavily delayed. He didn’t arrive in Zwolle until around midnight, and she still went out of her way to help. We were honestly blown away by her kindness. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this place in a heartbeat. Truly outstanding!

• Lein (5/5): Niet voor herhaling vatbaar - De ligging was wel ideaal De kamer was ingericht met de overgebleven bedden van de familie die ooit daar had gewoond ( of beter, die er nog steeds woonde) een krakend houten eenpersoons bed en een stalen inklapbaar onderschuif bed. Echt een kamer voor als er onverwacht extra familie langskomt. Niet eigenlijk voor de verhuur vind ik. Bovendien was het erg koud in de kamer en we hadden te weinig dekens. De gedeelde badkamer was ruim met een extra laag bejaardentoilet.

Eén nacht dik honderd Euro voor tweepersoonskamer, met gedeelde badkamer en gedeeld toilet. Uitkijken voor de cactus in de vensterbank achter het gordijn. Ik heb nu nog paar naalden in mijn arm zitten 😬

• Jannie (10/5): We simply loved it here! - We loved the whole set-up. Enjoyed sitting in the garden both in the evening and again in the morning. All was very clean. Lots of kitchen options for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Fridge and freezer also available.

Parking was convenient and hassle-free, which is always a big plus. Overall, this B&B offers a perfect blend of comfort, tranquility, and hospitality. Very clean, comfortable and peaceful for a good night's rest. - Grieke provided a fantastic array of freshly homemade baked bread, cheeses, packaged meat, biscuits, cereals (including low sugar), yoghurts, eggs and, best of all, freshly made juices, with all the healthy goodness. Good coffee was a given. That made for a great stay, in an ideal location, with a friendly, homely environment, with a clean and spacious room that's easy to work from and has a green view across their garden, a very spacious, clean and naturally lit bathroom with various amenities provided, plenty of clean towels and a quiet house that allowed for a great night's sleep. I will for sure be back.

• Jason (10/5): Exceptional - This is my fourth visit. Property was exceptionally clean. Good bus connection, can reach city centre by car in five minutes, by bike in 10 minutes or foot in 40. If visitors can tell the host when they would arrive, they would receive a good welcome. Bicycles can be stored safely on the driveway because of cameras. Host speaks English, Dutch and Mandarin, understands German, Italian and French too. I felt very safe in the environment because someone was there all the time. For nature lovers, there are nice areas around for exploration. The owner has an on-site beekeeper who is happy to show you the bees and sell you some tasty honey if he is around (see photos). The honey is tastier and completely different from that found in the store, although sometimes there is some available during breakfast, you can always buy some honey or honeycomb to take with you. There is nothing I didn't like. It was perfect.

• Anastasiia (2/5): - Two barking dogs - Smell of dogs - View of the cemetery - Stress and slander None of this is mentioned on Booking! Als - Cleaning in room every day 👍 Upon arrival, I was greeted by two dogs, which were not indicated anywhere on the booking! Additionally, there was a strong smell of dogs throughout the entire first floor, despite daily cleaning. Later, upon reaching my room, the view from the window turned out to be a CEMETERY! This was also not mentioned anywhere on the booking website! My mother and I started unpacking our belongings and realized there was nowhere to even put them because there was no wardrobe! As we tried to relax, suddenly the homeowner began conversing very loudly with a man, every word of which was perfectly audible as there was no soundproofing in the hotel! I stepped out and made a remark for them to speak more quietly. The man left. We peacefully spent two nights at this hotel, but on the third day, the homeowner started accusing my mother and me of slamming doors! Even though we did not do so! We behaved quietly! However, we were continued to be accused and threatened with action! I engaged in correspondence with this woman on the booking platform to inform her that we were behaving quietly and also expressed my dissatisfaction with our stay in this house! And she accused me of being AGGRESSIVE and ILL-MANNERED! As well as of kicking her dog! (I did not hit her dog!!! This was slander! When we first arrived, one of the dogs approached me and started sniffing and barking at me, I stamped on the floor to make the dog go away because I don't like dogs! But the homeowner interpreted this as kicking her dog! And started threatening me!) After we stopped communicating on the booking platform, I suggested discussing everything in real life because I did not understand what was happening and why I was being threatened with eviction from the hotel even though I had done nothing wrong. I wrote on WhatsApp that I wanted to discuss everything in person, but again, all their complaints were outlined to me, but in a more gentle tone.
