• Benedicte (2/5): Nice location, racist owner using N word towards people. - It is well located and convenient to go anywhere. The communication is not transparent and a lot of confusions have occurred from confirmation till check out. I booked this accommodation for my 77-year-old mother. While the property is well-located, the unit was not properly cleaned upon arrival, with visible dust and multiple broken items. We had to request additional cleaning, which should have been addressed before check-in. Furthermore, the listing was not transparent about its facilities. Although it was stated that a washing machine was available, the owner later informed us that we were not allowed to use it. Additionally, there was no mention of a security deposit at the time of booking, yet we were asked to pay one a week before arrival. This demand was made after confirming the accommodation, with the implication that we would not be able to stay if we refused. Upon check-out, the owner insisted that my mother wait outside while conducting an inspection, checking items that had not been reviewed during check-in. My mother had invited a friend to assist with her luggage and the check-out process, which took place one day before the official departure date. The owner was displeased, alleging that the friend entered the building without permission, despite the fact that my mother personally escorted her inside and the security guard granted access. What is entirely unacceptable is that the owner used a racial slur (the N-word) to refer to my mother’s friend, who is of African origin. Furthermore, the owner threatened to withhold my deposit solely because my mother’s friend had entered the unit. The situation escalated when the owner went so far as to tell us to leave Malaysia. The owner’s behavior was unprofessional, inappropriate, and deeply disturbing with full of racism. I strongly urge the platform to take appropriate action regarding this incident.
• Foo (8/5): Very good - - The host is excellent and easy to communicate with. - The instructions are clear and precise. - Complimentary services are provided. - House is clean There are too many personal belongings in the homestay. The bed comfort could be improved.
