• Ng (8/5): Overall, a pleasant stay with just a small area for improvement. - The apartment is cozy and comfortable to stay. Its provided everything we needed and was super clean and fully decorated. One thing to note is that the entrance area can be a bit dark and slippery, especially at night or in wet weather, so extra caution is needed.

• Rainer (9/5): - Es ist eine Einliegerwohnung mit einem grösseren Wohn-Esszimmer und Küche, einem Schlafzimmer und einem von dem Bad getrennten WC. Die Wohnung hat 2 Zimmer mit Blick zum Meer, allerdings ist die Wohnung im Ess- und Wohnbereich etwas dunkel.

• Shethal (10/5): Lovely apartment with attentive hosts. - Hosts are very responsive and was easy check in/check out process. The apartment is an outdoor annex to a house. It's well designed and considered with fully equipped kitchen, full sized fridge, pots,pans, microwave, kettle and all the dishes and utensils we needed to cook a hot breakfast were there. Separate shower and toilet was nice. Great shower. Clean bathrooms. Lots of attention to detail like great bathroom mirror, extra shelving, block out blinds/curtains. Parking right outside. Hosts are lovely, kind and so helpful. The entrance right outside is a little cluttered but once you're in, it's really nice!
• Margje (9/5): Fantastic stay at Ballstad - It was a very spacious and neat apartment. All necessary facilities were present. A very good price quality ratio!
• Kirsty (9/5): Very comfortable and quiet place to stay. - Very spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Good kitchen. Stairs to the front door can be quite slippery when they are icy and there is no rail to hold.
• Silvana (8/5): Strategic location to visit Lofoten, price/value ratio very good, owner very attentive and nice - The apartment is nice and clean but not totally comfortable The place is not easy to find without light (luckily the owner sent pics). The entrance is in the basement and it is difficult to be found because il looks like a warehouse/trash deposit (see pics)
• Domenic (4/5): Disappointing - I cannot reconcile the positive reviews for this property with my experience. The entrance to the basement was dangerous and littered with a beer can and other miscellaneous junk. I thought I was walking into a derelict house. Inside, the bedroom light did not work, there were broken scissors in the drawer and no soap in the bathroom. How you could miss such things when preparing the room is beyond me. The fact that booking.com highly rates this location is also beyond me. I paid good money for this room and after 2 months in europe I would have to say this was the worst value.
• Kevin (8/5): Good but with a few improvements as stated above would be great. - It was very clean, new, great shower and had a good amount of space (bedroom small though) There were a few things to improve that could make this a very good place: brighter lights (it was in the basement and quite dark) and 2 lights weren't working. A microwave, plug for the sink, bread and butter knives - as well as steak knives, more towels (we got 2 plus a hand towel and no bathmat), perhaps another pillow and the sheets were quite rough, better access -(it was a rocky slope) and communication from the host with the key code. The host was home which was good but it was a little tricky to isolate which was the correct house and if the host had been out we wouldn't have been able to get in. No info on what to do in the area etc - basically very little communication

• Andrea (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect! A cozy holiday home in a quaint, not touristy area, perfect for longer stays too. The living room was lovingly furnished, the kitchen perfectly equipped. The village is in comfortable driving distance for most tourist spots (and a lot of hidden gems), very good shopping center in the nearby town.
