• Rush (8/5): Overall an enjoyable stay - Comfortable house, well equipped, responsive host Tired in areas, poor quality bed linen. On the outskirts of the village.
• Deborah (9/5): Lovely homely cottage - Home was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Location was quiet but close to lots of beautiful places to visit. Liked everything but would have preferred a better bed in second bedroom as it wasn't as nice as the main bedroom bed and had to flip a coin.
• EMMA (9/5): A lovely relaxing stay in a characterful house with a really lovely atmosphere. - Very cosy and comfortable, really lovely feel to the whole house but especially the kitchen/dinning room and lounge. Wood burner very easy to operate and warm. Garden is a beautiful outdoor space, private and lovely to listen to the stream. Several different sitting out areas to catch the sun. Bed very comfortable and shower hot and powerful.

• Yvonne (10/5): Riverside is a little oasis in Combe Martin. - It is quite a sizeable house and furnished for complete comfort. Kitchen was a dream to cook in and clean with a very sociable dining area. The lounge is cosy and you feel at home. Beds were comfortable and family friendly. Owner has an excellent understanding of client’s needs extras like a mini fridge in bedroom and dog tags to give you confidence in case you lose your dog are delightful bonuses. Love the garden! Too cold sit out, but I’m sure the sound of the brook adds peace to sitting there. Nothing at all a place this comfortable is a rare find.
• Laura (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. Riverside was very comfortable, clean and very homely and welcoming. Christmas decorations had been put up and we received a lovely basket of treats! Ideal location, walking distance to the co-op, pubs and the lovely beach. We liked everything!
• Mariana (10/5): Lovely cosy stay, thank you! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - We loved the house - cosy, spacious and homey with a lovely living room with fireplace. Great garden for the dog. Spacious kitchen. Quirky and sweet touches (the downstairs loo…) Property is well located for nearby places such as Lynmouth and Woolacombe Beach. There are some lovely cafes and pubs nearby, so many dog friendly too! We loved The Harbour Cafe and Pack O Cards in Coombe Martin (aMAZING food), The Porthole at Woolacombe Beach, and Charlie Fridays in Lynmouth & Lynton. The various nearby beaches were great for our pup, who loved seeing the sea for the first time! On a soggy chilly October holiday, the house was such a great base to come back to. Thank you very much 🤩 Super small things! Honestly had a fab time. It was rather chilly on arrival, would have been lovely to have a few logs to light the fire that we could replace once the shops were open, (closed due to being Sunday). We enjoyed one every night for the rest of our stay! We were a further walk from the beach than we realised on booking, and there were lots of roadworks that made it tricky to walk down. No fault of the property but good to know. Very well located to drive to other towns though ☺️
• Joanne (10/5): Absolutely brilliant, loved the cottage. Felt at home as soon as we opened the door. - Location brilliant. Beach very close by, lovely village and not far from other places. .loved everything- just wish we’d stayed for longer! Would recommend and would go back.
• Georgina (10/5): We will be back! - We loved Riverside so much, it was perfect for my young daughter and mum for a getaway. It’s larger than pictures make out which was a bonus! Close to all necessities and beaches we wanted to spend time on! Garden is lovely aswell!
