Guest Reviews
- Annabelle (5/5): Misleading and poorly maintained - The proximity to the beach was fantastic
Also the agent was great, when we told her of our disappointment she moved us immediately. The new place was wonderful The property is very underwhelming, the description was greatly misleading and the photos are about 10yrs out of date. It is certainly not a 4 bedroom house. One "bedroom" are the bunk beds set into the wall in the hallway next to the TV room (no privacy or noise prevention) the other bedroom is upstairs from the TV room with no door and half a slatted wall, again meaning zero chance of avoiding noise. No bedroom has two single beds like shown in the pictures. The house is falling apart with half the lights not working and a leak in the ceiling. It is very old, been badly maintained with strange renovations been carried out

- Gail (6/5): Our stay was pleasant but the property lacks love and could do with some maintenance - The location of the property was lovely Property is run down and could do with some maintenance and TLC
- Brozin (10/5): Magical and soul filled time with family - This was a yearly family getaway - we just love Tranquility..the set up of the house, its quirkiness, the location in the most magical place Cape St Francis We loved everything 😍
- Janet (8/5): Good and comfortable - Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Some more lighting in the diningroom and sunroom would be a good idea. Little touches like leaving some basics like salt and pepper and dishwashing tablets would go a long way to improving overall rating.
- Anita (10/5): Wonderful beach house in the perfect location - Location is perfect for checking out the waves to surf.
Location is perfect for walking to the beach, hiking trials and cafes and restaurants.
The artifacts and artwork were very interesting pieces.
We loved our short stay x no fans except in upstairs bedroom. think in summer the bedrooms would get very hot for sleeping.
- Brozin (10/5): Tranquility allowed our family to have the most wonderful week together ..thank you Debbie ..you were amazing 🤩 - We loved the setup, decor, art
The ease and comfort
The location was amazing The bedrooms all really need fans - it was very hot and quite stifling at night
- Jaredmaz (9/5): Superb - The location was great Taps were taken off the bath so we couldn't bath our children
- Beverley (8/5): We loved Cape St Francis and Tranquility - wish we could have stayed longer. - Excellent location - walking distance to the beach and an easy (although a bit longer) walk to the lighthouse. The house contained everything we needed, and it was neat and clean. Shower water is heated by means of a gas geyser and, if you are not familiar with gas, it can be a bit daunting. Guests need to be advised to open the hot tap fully so as to ensure that the geyser ignites straight away otherwise the trickle of gas causes a very loud bang ( which caused the youngest member of our party some panic ).
- Kim (8/5): Great family home for a holiday! - The house is big and perfect for 2 families. It was clean and had everything we needed.
Debbie was very accommodating and responsive if we had any questions or needed help with anything.
We absolutely loved our stay ❤️ House is a bit cold and dark
- Lara (9/5): Superb -

- Gary (7/5): Good - The Tv did not work
- Louis (8/5): Very good -
