- Sofia (10/5): - Hermosa vista, los anfitriones excelentes.
- Mia (10/5): Loved my stay at Casa Los Molles, one of my favourite hostels during my travels. Beautiful views and nice people. - The views
The vibes
The friendly staff Nothing
- Georgina (9/5): Superb -
- Josephine (10/5): Excellent! - Great atmosphere, great staff, like a family! Amazingly decorated, large garden, a bar, a living room, good kitchen, great breakfast, best place I have stayed in so far in Argentina! Perfect place to chill for some days:)
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional - This hostel and the people working here are absolutely amazing! Everyone is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. I’m definitely coming back! If you’re still unsure about staying here or somewhere else, take this as your sign to book here!
- Sophie (9/5): Superb - Really friendly staff, beautiful hostel with so much history and love in all the decorations! Really chill, open and comfortable vibe! I could do laundry for free which was amazing. The bar and outside area is really cool and perfect for hanging out and meeting people
- Linn (10/5): Extremely cosy and chill place with good vibe and amazing views - The people working (especially Diego) was so extremely nice. They made us feel welcome and they were so chill about payments, food, etc. The overall vibe was also really nice and there were cute cats (and kittens!!) running around. One of the best thing was the terrace though, which was really cosy and overlooked the mountains. We spent A LOT of time sitting there and drinking beer (which was offered for a very good price in the bar).
The place was so nice that we came back there a week later and stayed two more nights. Breakfast was quite meh (dry bread with dulce de leche) and first time we stayed there it got a bit cold during night (however we found out later that it was possible to borrow heating pads).
- Edson (3/5): Poor -
- Lauren (7/5): Welcoming atmosphere but security could be improved - The hostel is colourful and welcoming with some really nice outdoor spaces. The staff were friendly, although not always easy to find. Easy to mix with other travellers and the big, shared breakfast table makes for nice conversations in the morning. Many people kept extending their stay, so some people obviously love it! I didn't love that there were no lockers and zero security for the rooms. Anyone could've walked through the front gate and right into my room. The plugs were far from the beds in my room. It was also a bit of a quiet walk up a hill from the centre - only 5 mins or so but still felt a bit disconcerting at night.
- Keirin (8/5): Very good - The staff was super nice and helpful. It is on the main street of the town. There are also a lot of pets. The wifi is weak and there are not enough bathrooms for the amount of people that stay in that hostal.
- Cloe (10/5): Views, food and ambiance that will make you want to stay - The view was incredible, staff were very lovely, super homely hostel, one of the best!
- Jacoba (9/5): Superb - A very nice hostel to stay at, a very relaxed atmosphere. Added two nights to my stay.
- Gideoni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Worth every penny! Immaculate vibes, nice breakfast, comfortable beds, hot shower, walkable location. - Small homey feel, comfortable beds, spacious dorm rooms, nice breakfast, lovely outdoor space to relax and enjoy the views over Tilcara, and wonderful staff that felt like family :) Only one bathroom for the dorm room inside the house
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dmtomazio (9/5): Superb - Good basic hostel with all amenities you need. Nice outside garden area with great views of the mountains. Friendly staff.
- Chiara (10/5): Nice, cozy hostel - Such a cozy hostel, you’ll just feel at home there. The view is amazing and you can enjoy it from the hammocks outside. Breakfast is really just dry bread and jam. I bought porridge and fruits to actually have food in the morning. The coffee is good though.
- Hugo (10/5): Won’t forget. Heartwarmingly amazing experiences - Just literally everything and notably the staff.
- Charles (5/5): Passable - Decent location with nice people Facilities were poor, no hot water
- Mohit (10/5): One of the best hostels I have ever been to. -
- Matthias (9/5): You get what you pay for😉 - Simle but good Wifi could be better
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - everything was perfect nothing
- Massimo (10/5): Amazing Buena onda hostel - This is by far the best hostel I have been to in Argentina. It's querky and super nice. Diego, the owner, runs the place in a very friendly way. Together with his team they make everyone feel home :)
dorms are big and beds are comfortable. Facilities are good along with a nice breakfast
Awesome place with una buenissima onda and a great view of Tilcara and the mountains in the background
If you are traveling to Tilcara, this is the place to be :)
Muchas gracias Diego y el team Nothing no to like
- Manfred (10/5): Small hostel with BIG heart ❤️ - Its a small hostel with a BIG heart!! I couldn’t have wished for a better start of my trip. The owners are incredibly welcoming and I felt like part of a family. every morning everyone met in the small kitchen and you have the feeling of visiting a friends’ home rather than a hostel. Highly recommended!!
