- Michael (9/5): Quaint Farmhouse in quiet area. - Beautiful old farmhouse restored, big rooms with lovely traditional furniture. Big fridge and stove. Comfortable beds and shower hot with pressure.
Enjoyed the outdoor area with intriguing braai.
Quiet area of town felt very safe.

- Marietjie (10/5): Exceptional - We received a very friendly wup from the host before arrival, very friendly and helpful.
The stay was excellent, very clean and spacious. It takes you back in time, the old town house when Nieuwoudsville was established
This was an excellent experience. Sana thank you for your kind assistance and friendliness, you are of great value for the guesthouse
- Tarina (10/5): Our new favourite! - If I could give this amazing place 15 I would have. The attention to detail was amazing.
Old school charm, very clean.
I wish we had thought to bring wood to sit in the boma and just have a fire going under the stars! Nothing.

- Vivian (10/5): Vivian Thompson - A beautiful authentic two bedroom cottage with all the amenities you can think of.
Very clean and well equipped. Booking.com, will you please remove the reviews of Mildred (27 September 2023) and Mias (29 September 2023).
It reflects badly on the new owner.
Môreson is a beautiful, more than expected cottage, with a very friendly owner!
- Marinda (7/5): Good - Location very nice
Veranda very nice to have
Nice view Too little hanging space for wet towels
Bathroom window can't close properly
Due too bad weather, the house was very cold
- Paul (8/5): We had a lovely stay everyday until 18.00, thereafter too cold. - Great location, friendly reception, great authentic restored old cottage.
But unusable without a proper Scandinavian type woodstove even in beginning Septembeer. The property badly needs a woodstove inside. It was in mid September far to cold to cook outside and even inside so we went shivering to Antje se plek for a meal. As it is the property is unusable outside mid summer.
- Mias (1/5): Horrible experience - Nothing at all. We booked two nights but left after a few hours due to the dilapidated state of the property. Mold on the ceiling, dirty appliances, old moldy bread stuck inside the rusty old toaster, overgrown garden, and a general unpleasant smell inside the building.
- Mildred (1/5): Very very disappointed!!! - We arrived at the property, which is situated just before the town of Nieuwoudtsville late afternoon, after we had to drive a bad dirt road, just to find the place deserted. Didn't look very well looked after from the outside. Had to find other accommodation.
- Shereene (9/5): A wonderful stay! Highly recommended. - Very comfortable and charming old cottage with wooden floors. Spacious. Lovely hot showers. Beautiful field of spring flowers and quiver trees right there in the back garden. Sanna, the hostess, was very helpful and provided us with very good guidance wrt what to see and where to view very good displays of spring flowers. Thank you Sanna! I highly recommend you and your property! Shower works brilliantly but needs a bit of an upgrade in other ways.
- Shelhi (9/5): Superb - I loved the cottage and its old world charm and would happily have stayed longer to explore the town, cottage garden and wild flowers. We felt very welcome and when the town water went off, a plan was made to make sure we had water for the basics although town water came back during the night.
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
