- Anita (10/5): Felt like home away from home - Tidy apartment with beautiful terrace. Great location away from crowds, several good restaurants near by as well as supermarkets. Garbage recycled which I appreciated a lot.
- Mike (9/5): Fantastische locatie en heel centraal gelegen. S'avonds heerlijk nagenieten op het dakterras. - Geweldige plek met dakterras. Heel centraal gelegen.
L’appartamento è molto spazioso, comodo e completamente attrezzato!
La pulizia era impeccabile! La grande terrazza è meravigliosa! Il Wi-Fi funzionava perfettamente! L’aria condizionata in ogni stanza funzionava benissimo!

- David (10/5): - Central to sightseeing, restaurants, transport, shops and groceries.
Beautiful little terrace.
No issues with anything.
Highly recommended Pokey lift, but to fair it was old
- Sylvie (9/5): Pleasant stay in Rome - We had a very pleassant stay at the Anita property. The property manager communicated with us the day of arrival to show us the property and hand us the keys. The property was clean and spacious, with everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. It is located on the 6th floor of the building, with a tiny elevator that takes you up to the 5th floor and then a short climb to the 6th floor. We had no issues with this. The property is very well located, with some restaurants and cafes right outside the door, and a few grocery stores a few minutes away. Main tourist sites are an easy 15 minute walk away. We really enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evening, although it faces the back of a hotel, so not much of a view. We also appreciated coming back to AC after a long day walking in the heat. We will definitely be returning to this property next time in Rome. The bed was really comfortable, but the pillows were too flat and not comfortable at all. The kitchen could use some kitchen towels and dish clothes. The elevator was quite noisy, and we were often woken up by it (not really the fault of the owners though).
- Robert (10/5): Fantastic flat with an even more fantastic terrace! - This flat is like living in a museum. It is huge, with two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a hall, and a huge terrace (in two levels) with a sunset view. It's on the top floor on the sixth floor but with an elevator reaching the fifth floor. Garbage collections is conveniently located in the entrance and the address in Via Palermo is around 15 minutes from Roma Termini and but a few minutes from the central Subura (our favourite district in Rome). The flat is very clean and the entire building/district is "well-off". We have stayed several times in different flats in Rome, mainly in Via Baccina, but this one leaves them all in the dust. Truth be told, you pay more than average for this one, but it is worth it and it will be hard to "step down" from this flat in the future. We even skipped our standard evening drinks at American Bar in order to get our sunset drinks on the terrace, something we have never done before. There is nothing to not like here.
- karen (9/5): Great Apartment, great location, lovely terraces - perfect - Amazing apartment, great facilities, terraces lovely.. central location can walk to everything (20mins each direction), lots of restaurants and local supermarkets a few minutes away. Air con really good. Host didnt moan when we were not there at agreed time to pick up keys (due to luggage issues at airport).. Definitely recommend.., but wasn't a bargin but worth it for a family or close couples. Nothing not to like.
- Rebekka (10/5): Can't wait to return to this beautiful property and share with others...we loved the place and the veranda was great - A stunning apartment and great location to wander the streets of Roma Nothing it was extremely beautiful
- Heather (10/5): Excellent centrally located apartment with terrace - Lovely clean, centrally located apartment with everything you need inside and the terrace is a real bonus. Nothing
- Biljana (10/5): Exceptional - Position and interior design extra charge for late check-in...
- Theresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (9/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location - Great apartment ideally located within a 15 minute walk to Termini station, the Colosseum & Trevi fountain. Plenty of restaurants and grocery shops within 5 minutes of the apartment.
The apartment itself is spacious with 2 seating areas, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a wonderful, spacious terrace. Very modern apartment decorated in an old worldly style. The apartment is well equipped with dishwasher & washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen.
We stayed for 7 nights and we really enjoyed our time in Rome. The apartment could do with a few extra supplies like some extra sheets & towels especially for longer stays ( we only had a large and small towel each which we washed while there), a few dishwasher tablets would have been appreciated but these were minor inconveniences. The apartment and building are quiet. The apartment is on the 6th floor with the small lift going to the 5th floor and then stairs for an easy walk up to the apartment. Highly recommend this apartment if you are going to Rome.
- Yuika (8/5): Great apartment but lots of room for improvement regarding management - Internet worked great (especially because we had to work) and the location was amazing. We were able to walk to many of the key spots in the city center, but it was still very silent.
The bed was super comfortable and it was not facing the street so it was very quiet.
Just to note however we thought the part with the desk would have a door (which was necessary for meetings since both of us were working at the same time) but it was just in the hallway. - Bad communication with the host. The host told me via booking.com to call or text two numbers 30 min before we arrived. I texted those numbers and tried to call several times, no one answered. We got to the Airbnb but I still hadn’t received any message from them, so I then left a message on booking.com and someone with a completely different number texted me, saying they would arrive in 20min. The man arrived and apologized but still made it sound like it was our fault that we had to wait because he was “only notified a few minutes ago”. Which is not true because I had been trying to contact the numbers that were given to be before.
Then on the day of the check out, I had confirmed that we could check out at 12pm. However at around 11am someone unlocked the door and came in to clean the apartment, and he said nobody had told him we were checking out at 12.
- The elevator goes only until the 5th floor, we needed to take the stairs to get to the 6th floor, which was not easy with heavy luggages
- There is really nothing in the kitchen (not even coffee!), we had to buy several things even though we were only staying for 5 days
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (9/5): Superb - The hotel is very close to the train station. There are several restaurants very close. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The host was very friendly.
- Garret (10/5): Would highly recommend…. And would definitely stay here again when in Rome. - Incredible location. Apartment was just as pictured…but sun shades have been added to the terrace making it even better. Convenience of restaurants and markets for food out or in. It was perfect for us.
- Diana (10/5): It’s a rare find. We were very comfortable here and would recommend it to friends. - The terrace was gorgeous, the whole apartment was wonderful. Ludovico, our contact, was excellent.
- Alexander (9/5): Good, spacious, aircooled. - Air conditioners (we were there during the heatwave, so we were saved).
Spacious.
Themed (it was good to learn some Italian Risorgimento history).
If the visitors are fine with walking around the City like we are, the position is good.
Balcony allows to have an evening family meal outdoors (if it is not +40C like it was during our visit). There were some issues with the water in the master bedroom (the owners were aware and addressing).
The apartment is 2 staircases above the last level the lift can reach. Wasn’t a problem for us but may be a problem for others, just be aware.
- Terry (10/5): Beautiful place but my stay was ruined by the loud renovation one floor below me which disturbed my sleep and drove me o - Beautifully decorated, interesting location, convenient, wonderful terrace, immaculately clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms Construction ongoing in the apartment right below the flat . The renovation was loud and started quite early in the morning. Very disruptive and no warning that was going to be the case. I probably would have not chosen this location if I had known .
- Pavel (10/5): Skvělý komfortní byt v centru Říma. - Large apartment, lots of space, 2 bedrooms, 2 very nice bathrooms, great kitchen, wonderful terrace. Nice interior with pieces of historical furniture and paintings, quality wi-fi. Excellent location close to the Colosseum, a little longer walk to the metro stations. A less comfortable sofa bed. Totally unsuitable for disabled people (small lift and stairs to the last floor). It is not possible to store your luggage after check out, but there is a very good storage room nearby that will also arrange a taxi to the airport.
- Masako (9/5): We greatly enjoyed staying at this place. Would love to come back. - We loved the roof-top terrace. It's spacious and nicely decorated. We loved watching the sky in the evening. The water pressure for the kitchen and the shower was very finicky.
- Ruth (8/5): In a great location, we loved Rome. - Lovely outside space, comfortable beds. The bathrooms smelt of urine, windows open when we arrived it was a faint smell but we needed to shut them due to mosquitos, we did let the host know as there were no products available for the toilet at the apartment, needed a better clean dusty. The neighbour began drilling before 8am on the day we were leaving😳
- Lynne (9/5): Felt very much like I was in a different country ! - Very spacious - felt the local living vibe-
Location fantastic - loved the coffee shop at the end of the street! Patio lovely -
Loved having 2 bathrooms Being on the top floor - very difficult with luggage as elevator did not go to the top.
Elevator was very european but was claustrophobic - just be prepared for that !
- Daniel (9/5): Overall terrific. Very handy, convenient, easy, clean, and problem-free. Excellent hosts. - Main road arteries just two blocks away. Lots of public transportation options ten minutes away, including the Republica metro stop. Buses are frequent. I liked the easy elevator, although it's a small one for two people or one person and their suitcase. The apartment is exactly as in the pictures with a long hall leading to the interior bedroom (away from any outside noise, passing a nice bathroom on the way. The master bath is spotless, new, and laid out well. The shower, while brilliant, could use a shelf to place shower items instead of on the floor. The hall-bath shower has a window shelf so I used that one. If you've never experienced a true rain shower head, you'll love this one. The wand is efficient and moved well. The shower valve is like most in Rome, finicky and teaches you how to get the right temp spot. Lots of towel hooks and an efficient sink. The big attractions was that beautiful patio; what a joy to be high up and looking out over the city. There was some cool rain so I can't comment on the summer sun but the flying shades add a spot to get out of direct sunlight. I did laundry and ironed - there's a laundry rack and a nice iron and board. I cooked some but, like most apartments, there's not a lot to choose from in condiments, spices, etc. - I understand the need to minimize contamination risk by throwing out left-over food, but my top ratings go to places that have everything Anita's place has, plus a fully-stocked kitchen with many good tools, sharp knives, and the basics of food stuffs like spices, oil, and even pasta. If I'm staying longer term I don't mind spending on groceries basics, but not if I'm staying 4 or 5 days.
This is my 37th apartment stay in Rome and I've learned how to be picky and use Maps and photos to assure what I get. Anita's place is easily in my top five and I'd both recommend and stay here again. I only give top ratings to places with stocked basic cooking needs like spices, tools, and knives. Anita's place is great but, for shorter stays, the convenience and savings of being able to cook is lost in apartments that clean out all remaining food and cooking items.
- Bonny (10/5): Amazing large balcony for pre dinner drinks or morning coffee. -
- Karen (10/5): Highly recommend - We stayed at Anita for 5 days late March 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Anita. No issues with entry or communication. The apartment was extremely well equipped - we did not want for anything. The location is perfect, located closer to the Colloseum but can still walk to the Vatican. The restaurants on the street are very good. The patio was well appreciated . We loved solving the puzzle of the Anita name. Highly recommend!
- Dean (10/5): Beautiful stay - Apartment is new and very comfortable Location is excellent. None
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional - Location exceptional. Very friendly host. extraordinary roof top terrace!
