Guest Reviews
- Zander (9/5): Met all our family needs with comfort. - Ease of use and convenience for our family.
- Mary (9/5): Good bus route for the coastal path walks.
. - Lovely spacious house, large master bedroom with a very comfortable bed. No drop kerb onto the properties drive is hard for small cars to negotiate.
- Gordon (10/5): Great place to stay - Everything you needed from a house was there, very close to the town centre for shops, food and pubs. I've stayed here before and I will be staying again and again. Brilliant place. I think the steps leading up to the house need railings both sides.
- Nia (10/5): Work /lesuire break - Location was fantastic . Very comfortable house. Off street parking. Nothing
- P Yates (8/5): Lovely home for a working visit to Holyhead. - Ideally situated for my working visit to Holyhead and the property had all the bits and bobs I needed for self catering. The hosts communicated well and everything was as expected. If I was being picky I'd say there could be a drop kerb outside the home but not sure thats the hosts problem to solve.
- Jamie (10/5): Fabulous stay at a spacious property in a great location - Large property with comfortable beds. Parking directly outside on a private drive. There is a bathroom both up and downstairs.
- Jason (8/5): -
- Carl (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): - Great location
Ideal for our needs (2 bedrooms)
Well supplied with essential stuff
Parking outside No downside
- Swaminathan Sridhar (10/5): - Great location and facilities Maybe thw owner could have been more interactive to tell about wifi facility, kept milk starter pack
- Darryl (10/5): Was very pleased with property and will stay again - Place was clean and beds were comfy
There was parking
Not too far to go for a drink and something to eat
- Matt (8/5): -
- Paul (10/5): -
- Maaria (10/5): Spacious property, great location. - Very spacious and welcoming. Nothing
- Cheryl (7/5): - Great location, and ideal for our weekend visiting friends. House was 9/10 clean and cosy. Some minor cleanliness issues but easy wins that can be resolved.
- Dawn (10/5): Fabulous - Cleanliness, proximity to town centre, beach and nice restaurants Not applicable as everything was fine
- Monika (9/5): -
- Gareth (8/5): -
- JEANETTE (10/5): House was lovely location fantastic only downside we couldn’t stay longer - Comfortable fab location Nothing
- Ronnie (10/5): Fabulous stay 🏡 - Amazing home
Fab size
Clean and well organised
Enclosed garden for my dog
Close to most locations visited N/A
- Elizabeth (9/5): -
- Anna (10/5): - Beautiful house, very clean and cosy will stay again
- Bonnie (8/5): - Roomy house. Comfortable. Good service and communication by owner. Booking.com service and website less satisfactory and difficult to make changes to booking after an error occurred through the website booking process. Kitchen equipment could have been better. The cooker was also difficult to use with half the LED lights not working so hard to tell what number each hob was on. Sometimes switched itself off so made cooking for 6 quite difficult. OK for a few days but would get rather frustrating if staying much longer.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Lynsey77 (10/5): - Amazing house, great amenities and location. The rooms were very large and the beds wow great nights sleep. Very dog and child friendly. We would love to come back and stay longer.
- Stephen (10/5): - Nice place, great location. Clean, comfortable and good communication from the owners. Would definitely visit again. N/A
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): - Great location and communicate from
Owners
- Zsuzsanna K-H (10/5): - It is a spacious accommodation. Easly can fit a family of 6 to enjoy their time there. For the two if us that was plenty of space. It is close to the shore and to many shops. There is nothing to mention here about the accommodation.
- Kim (10/5): Perfect location for a family stay. - The house was the perfect size for family, including a baby and great Nain. The location was great for walks along the sea, watching the boats. We also took two small dogs, one being a chihuaha, and the garden was enclosed for them. Trearddur Bay and Breakwalk country park were both 5 mins drive away and perfect for a day out at the beach or for nice walks. We are definitely looking at staying again. The host was super helpful and easy to message. Nothing.
- Wendy (10/5): Had a wonderful time . Will definitely come back again. - Clean Near beach . And beautiful house The stairs not good if got bad legs
- Trevor (10/5): - Top quality fixtures and fittings, very roomy, beautiful cottage and garden. Ideal location. Beautiful side views of the harbour. Owners live in the same street so any issues they are close at hand to fix, not that we had any issues. Lovely neighbours. Off street parking. Lots of local information leaflets. Street not too busy. Plenty of books to choose from if you want a chilled get away and games for the little ones. Just perfect No dropped kurb for the off street parking. My car is low to the ground but i managed it if i reversed in on an angle. No big problem, or an issue. I just made my friend get out of the car so it didnt sit as low 😆
- mandy (6/5): it was ok - Shower.
master bed was comfortable
large house needs a lot of TLC , needs to be more welcoming
a deep clean including the back bedroom mattress
need a new toaster
doors don't close certain windows do not open
regulations for a commercial property is poor
No drop kerb
- Nicola (10/5): - House was clean, lots of space for our family and in a great location. There was nothing we didn't like.
- Emilia (6/5): -
- Christine (6/5): Pleasant - The hosts were lovely and offered to recommend places to visit and eat. Off road parking for two cars. We had three cars and picked the busiest weekend so struggled to find parking on the first day but not an issue that evening and onwards. Comfy beds and a good base if you are looking to explore. Outside seating area ok, but needs updating. The house needs work in terms of some poor decoration and not very clean in a number of places. Signal poor so could not download instructions to connect to WiFi, however I could have done this prior to arrival (we were out a lot so couldn’t ask hosts). Sofas in lounge not very comfortable. Downstairs rain shower lacks pressure. No obvious extractor in kitchen so smoke alarms went off when grilling. Lock on front door is fiddly and may need replacing.
- Lesley (8/5): Very good -
- Gordon (9/5): Superb - It had plenty of rooms and space even though it was only 2 of us, but everything you needed was there. Highly recommended. I was in the front bedroom, south facing, at 5 in the morning it was too bright with the sun. It needs blackout blinds and curtains. A window in that roo was open slightly so you could hear even bit of noise outside. no drop-down curb for you to drive up even though every single house in the avenue has one.
- Farman (10/5): Great little find. Much better value than the local premier inn - Very comfortable and easy communication with the host. Ideal location for my trip
- Susan (8/5): Nice stay in holyhead - We thoroughly enjoyed our trip again.
We enjoyed it having all the amenities ie washing machine, drier, dish washer
Good value for money Could do with a little TLC now
Needs new clean toilet brushes
Front bedroom door difficult to close and open
Something wrong with t v remote
Bedding didn't smell fresh
Quite a few doors don't open and close properly ie Front door
- Jennifer (9/5): Weekend in Holyhead - Great communication from host. Great location, spacious, clean, would return 😀 Interior doors difficult to close, single beds not very comfortable
- Debbie (9/5): Great quite location. - Excellent location for getting around Anglesey. Great restaurant 5 mins walk away. Very quite location. The lack of a drop curb to get the car on the drive was unfortunate especially as the road had yellow lines. The mattress was soft, but overall very good value for money.
- Anthony (10/5): It was spot on. - Everything
- Louise (9/5): Superb - Very spacious A little tired in places
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Everything
- Helen (9/5): A beautiful house - The house was home from home! Very comfortable and had everything we needed while we were there. The walk-in shower and that there were two toilets too. The house was in a great location, and the WIFI worked well when in the house.
- Mcad10 (5/5): Fully met our immediate needs. - Excellent location and well equipped property. The decor was tired and some DIY fixes were of poor quality. Eg Doors not hung correctly.
- Charles (8/5): Thanks. Good spot! -
- Bielik (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect, we had no questions or problems. Thank you very much! 👍😊
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bezuidenhout (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (8/5): A lovely house at an amazing price - It’s beautiful , clean and tidy and the location is fantastic. There’s parking. The owner cares about you having a good break/holiday. Two of us found the mattresses uncomfortable. The other two thought they were amazing. The internal doors don’t shut.
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Giedre (10/5): Exceptional - Tidy and clean. Very welcoming. Great for family vacation. Great location. Very close to the beach. Definitely going to book again. Recommend it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daonuea (10/5): great place to syay - very nice location, easy booking, clean, comfortable nothing
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (7/5): Lovely location to explore all of Anglesea - Location perfect for us, close to the beach (for the dog) and a small playpark (for my son).
Plenty of local short walks and a good longer half day walk to South Stack lighthouse and back.
There isn't a lot going on in Holyhead. We did go out to the local bistro which was excellent and a museum which was interesting but a little overpriced. There is a main road all the way across Anglesea, which makes travelling to various places easy. Nothing is more than a 35 min drive making it a good base to explore from. The property had been renovated but very DIY. Tiles not matching, door frames not straight, poor quality plastering, no drop curb to parking out the front, random doors that didn't open in the kitchen. The more you looked the more odd things you found! This doesn't show in the website photos. Not a problem, but something to be aware of it this might bother you.
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Louise (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautifully clean and comfortable excellent location Nothing
- Susan (10/5): Lovely house - It had everything we needed for a couple of days away. Very comfortable and clean. It rained one day and the only thing we could possibly say was perhaps a door mat at both doors to stop the floor getting wet
- Alyson (1/5): Bad - The property wasn’t clean. When I arrived at the property it smelt musty and damp. I went straight to Lidl to buy air freshener.
The floor was unclean in the kitchen with tea bag stains near the bin, unclean bin lid, the vacuum hadn’t been emptied and was full of dust, a toy of my daughters went under the sofa which I had to pull out to retrieve, there was socks from a previous visitor and what looked like cereal. The attention to detail throughout the whole house was lacking. I left a day early.
- Sue (10/5): Exceptional - spacious and comfortable
- Gillian (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - The house was very comfortable and very close to the shore. The house had freezer which was very useful and fully equipped Nothing
- Lynne (9/5): Superb - House was in a very good location and clean, comfortable, and well equipped
- Lauren (10/5): Exceptional - Beds where really comfortable, amazing location! Lovely warm and welcoming home!
- Edward (9/5): Superb - Location was very convenient for our needs. Very spacious. Tea and coffee included! We were not there for long but overall it was a good experience. Thank you.
- Dominic (10/5): Great stay in a nice clean house - Beautiful house In nice location the house was clean and lots of added bits cleaning stuff too I’m
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Paula (8/5): Great value for money, will stay again - House had everything we needed for our stay. Was lovely and clean and homely. Nothing
- Neil (9/5): Superb - Perfect for our stay Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Great location, just a short walk to the beach. Comfortable and well-equipped. - Beautiful, well equipped home.
- Carly (10/5): Amazing house! - When we arrived we thought we had got the wrong house, it was huge! The house was so welcoming, the underfloor heating was on so the house was so cosy! Every room had everything we needed, including a high chair! The beds were so comfortable, we had a great night's sleep. The kids were disappointed we were only staying for the night. Will definitely stay here again :) There were no downsides.
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (9/5): Great location for the ferry. Good to have a carpark -
- Arthur (10/5): Everything was perfect. - Everything about my stay at this property was first class. Even though not included as part of the package, the hosts provided us with towels during our stay at no extra cost. A perfect location for the Holyhead Ferry Port.
- Bob (9/5): Looks like it needs a few finishing touches to make it a really nice comfortable and smart stay, but really good value f - Very spacious and comfortable stay. Loved the underfloor heating in the hallway and living room. The raised screws in the carpet edger in the doorway of the front bedroom. They hurt!
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- George (10/5): Comforting - Property was located on a lovely street, very close to the waters edge (4 mins walk max). The house was very spacious and warm (with HEATED FLOORS), it had everything you could ask for and more Wasn’t available for a longer stay lol
