Guest Reviews
- Moremon (10/5): - The property was beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds in a good central position for all we wanted to do. There was a very handy app giving all information needed prior to arrival. We had a couple of queries and Lauren was very responsive and helpful.
My sister and I used to holiday in North Wales over 50years ago and had a wonderful time visiting the places we used to go including Portmerion Llandudno Conwy and Betws y coed. We both had a wonderful week and hope to repeat it next year. Nothing we didn't like.
- Penelope (9/5): Had a wonderful week - Village location excellent, close to Snowdonia and good access to N coast. Inside, house was beautiful, very comfortable beds, close to useful food shops and pretty riverside Village itself rather grey and rundown-looking
- Mike (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stayed & slept well in the comfy beds. - The house was very comfortable & clean. Nicely & tastefully decorated. Plenty of space for the five of us. The utility room was very handy to put all our hiking gear. Lovely having three bathrooms which made it very easy when five of us were getting ready to go out. Location good as most places we visited were under an hour away. I would definitely recommend the accommodation. I realise the courtyard doubles as extra parking but it would have been nice to be able to sit out without the huge wheelie bin. On subject of bin, I hope you get the recycling situation sorted soon as it was horrible not being able to recycle our waste.
It was very handy having a washing machine but as the dryer doesn’t work it would be handy to be provided with a clothes airer. But we made do with using hangers over the shower rail in the big bathroom.
Kitchen could do with some more basic equipment such as wooden spoon, spatula etc but we got by.
- Cynara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steve (10/5): Nythfa was a perfect base for a 60th celebration - Our whole group were very impressed with the property and the facilities which were excellent. The artwork was much admired but sadly too big to get in the car :-) During our stay we dined in Betws-y-Coed, climbed Yr Wyddfa and did the zipwire at Penryn Quarry and the location was perfect for all these activities. The bath was particularly appreciated after a 7 hour hike! Nothing.
- Diane (10/5): Thank you for an amazing stay at your beautiful home - The property was easy to find with excellent parking and in a quiet area but close to local shops etc.
We had the wow factor as soon as entering.
Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. We ate in as a lovely dining area.
The lounge area was equally as lovely.
The beds were all very comfy. The bathroom was very welcoming having climbed Mount Snowdon on the Saturday to just sink into the huge bath and relax.
Great location for near by attractions.
We had a lovely scenic drive up on the Friday stunning scenery with the Mountains, trees and lakes and lots of baby lambs. After our climb Saturday we went into Betwys-y-coed for afternoon tea then further along to Swallow Falls with the majestic, foaming rapids.
Sunday we went on the Snowdon railway up part of the Mountain then drove to Portmeirion village with its Italianate buildings and beautiful gardens another lovely sunny day beautiful place to relax with stunning sea views and a brass band playing.
Sadly we had to head home on the Monday but not before stopping off for a luxury Steam train ride we had booked at Ffestiniog the Worlds oldest narrow gauge railway in Porthmadog which also has a lovely harbour we travelled through Mountains, lake, and pastures stopping off at the slate quarry town of Blaenau Ffestiniog before the return journey.
Thank you for our very enjoyable stay at your lovely home ❤️ Diane, Deborah, Denise and Gemma. There was nothing we didn't enjoy.
The property was very clean and tidy and well equipped with everything we needed.
- Jo (10/5): Great stay, loved it and hope to go back one day. - Very well equipped comfortable clean and cosy. Good position for local amenities and the wonderful area. Great info given on an app that was easy to refer to when needed.
