• Karen (10/5): Absolutely perfect for a birthday celebration. - The location of the apartment is excellent. It is within walking distance to public transport links, bars, shops and restaurants but there is very little noise in the evening . The accommodation is clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. The living/dining room was roomy but felt cosy and the balcony is a great bonus. There was a minor issue with the heating but this was immediately resolved.

• Jeffrey (10/5): Right in the heart of Oban. Perfect location for taking any boat trips. - Located just off the main pier and right in the heart of town. Entrance located on a small side street, to no real traffic going by. You can walk to anywhere in Oban from this location, including grocery stores. Apartment is located on second floor. There are no handrails, so carrying bags up steps is a bit sketchy for older people. Owner stated that they are putting handrails in soon. This would not stop me from staying again. Location and apartment was perfect.

Molto vicino alla strada principale ma un po’ defilato, è al primo piano ma in realtà sotto c’è un negozio (sempre chiuso) e quindi è come se fosse una casa indipendente. Le sedie della cucina erano un po’ traballanti, consiglierei di sostituirle.

The overall square footage was way above expected especially for such a central location in downtown Oban. Beautifully decorated; the owner clearly put a lot of thought into the finishes, which are high-quality. Able to walk to the shops, dinner, the shore,, and Oban Distillery. N/A

• Caroline (10/5): Best accomodation in Oban - Everything was amazing in this beautiful property. The decor was lovely, the rooms were all big and airy with gorgeous beds and bedding. The kitchen was very roomy as was the lounge. It had Washing machine and dishwasher and great facilities and a lovely small balcony which is a wee sun trap. It was also central to centre of Oban itself. This is a perfect property for both groups if friends or families. There was nothing g to dislike. The only comment I would add there wasn't a fish slice and the big plates were too big to go into dishwater but we just used the smaller dishes, but other than that it was brilliant and thank you to the property owner for such a beautiful accommodation. There was 8 adults and we all had a brilliant time.
• Sophie (10/5): Convenient and clean - Hillview was a surprise. A well appointed clean flat in a convenient location for exploring Oban. The owner was very accommodating and it exceeded my expectations. It is tastefully decorated but most importantly clean. It is difficult to find clean accommodation in Scotland but Hillview was perfect. We were celebrating my son's 18th birthday and it was a great place to chill between adventures! The master bedroom on the left was always rather cold compared to the rest of the flat but otherwise I could fault nothing.

Rooms were comfortable and the location was wonderful with the harbor, restaurants and shops less than a 5 minute walk from the property. The address was a little confusing. The number “16” for the street address was located on a different property door.

I - The property is so beautiful, big rooms, spacious living room, well equipped kitchen. Superb toilets and showers. It was a newly refurbish and modern property. Enough for a family of 3. (6 adults and 3 children) and everything is well provided. Bonus is the car parking which is within the property. The location is excellent too, it was all within walking distance. I and my friends cant think of any, because the property is located to all the amenities.

• Tkalmes (9/5): Great place to stay in beautiful downtown Oban. - Beautiful apartment, plenty of space for a family of 5, great location in Oban. Walkable to everything. Wish there was permit parking available. We had to return to put money in the meter throughout the day.

The weather was awful and it would be good to have had space to hang up wet coats and shoes . We ended up hanging in bathroom which worked . Maybe some extra hooks on back of bathroom door ? Or out on balcony ? We didn’t want to take wet coats into the bedrooms

• Andre (10/5): super mooi huis - super nice house with very large bedrooms, very large living room with dining room, beautiful large kitchen with everything provided, 2 bathrooms with toilet I'm sure when I'm back in Oban I'll see if this house is available beautifully located in the middle of Oban on a quiet street with good parking and close to the supermarkets and the boat to the island
