Guest Reviews
- Greig (7/5): Beautiful location, stunning outlook comfotable and quiet - Location was beautiful and very quiet. One of the bedrooms was located outside off the main living area and my daughter found it very very cold at night.
The fly screens and front door was not let a lot of bugs in at night which died and they ended up all over the beds.
And out door fire place would have been nice near the main house, but not essential.
Parking , although good , could be closer to the main house , but that was still no problem really.
- Anna (9/5): It was an enjoyable weekend away from the city. Restful and peaceful. Would rebook a stay. - It’s peaceful and tranquil setting. The fact you a huge property all to yourself. The property was clean but extra attention to clean cobwebs etc would elevate the cleanliness.
Discovered there is a little mouse living in the house somewhere. Comes out at night.

- Anne (5/5): - Very pretty location. Unfortunately we had extreme weather conditions. The heat was unbelievable. The lack of cooling made it almost impossible to stay either indoors or outdoors. We visited for a wedding and we were lucky enough to have family stay nearby so we spent our time there. Had that not been the case we would have left..
The property was as stated . I think it should also be mentioned that it is out of mobile reception.
- Rhonda (7/5): Quiet, surrounded by nature. - Peaceful
Nice spacious eating area
Beds were clean and comfortable We booked this as we were recommended it as a place for our extended family, for a wedding we were attending.
Whilst it was nice, with a spacious quiet setting, we were down 1 bed. The listing says it is a 3 bedroom house, with 4 beds…there were only 3 beds! A tad annoying.
- Steven (9/5): A peaceful stay in a beautiful setting - The house is very tranquil and set in beautiful surroundings, a perfect place to relax and unwind. It is really well appointed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The property does not have air conditioning or fly screens, and in this location, you really need one or the other unless you enjoy the company of flys and mosquitoes.

- Jessica (10/5): - Wow!!! Nunkeri is a stunning property and we felt so at home during our stay! Couldn’t recommend enough. The property was clean, beds were comfy as, water pressure 10/10, fast wifi, very spacious common areas with long dining tables in and outside, and even had a seperate barn to socialise and play some pool! While the days were hot, we enjoyed walking around the property, spotting wombat holes and listening to the kookaburras and wildlife. During the nights we lit the fire, made some pasta and listened to tunes over the Bluetooth speaker- max relax!!! We truely wished we could have stayed longer and hope to be back asap!!!! Thankyou Nunkeri Team
- Alisia (10/5): Beautiful Winter escape - Beautiful location in the Winter - nice and quiet great place for spend with a group or family. Road leading up to the house can be tricky but not a problem for our group n/a we loved everything
- Jo-anne (9/5): A beautiful property that I highly recommend - We loved the relaxed privacy and tranquillity, the quality of the accommodation and the beautiful shared spaces available. Host was great and very responsive too. The hot water was very hit and miss (mostly miss) and the water had a funky creek smell to it, but I guess that come with the off grid rustic serenity.
- Houston (9/5): Family stay in the most beautiful peaceful property. - The property is so secluded and peaceful. The house is clean, functional, beautiful and warm. There are great spots to gather inside and out. The owners have put alot of thought into the comfort and experience.
The owners manual was well layed out and informative.
We had wallabies grazing in the backyard most mornings and the only sounds you will hear are birds.
The sky at night was filled with stars.
I've never felt more relaxed and comforted by a place. The driveway into the property is tricky, you really need a 4WD to handle it.
Solar can be tricky to manage with a big group on a cloudy day.
- Chloe (6/5): Pleasant - Beautiful location and the games room was great. Kitchen was reasonably well stocked although we didn’t try to do more than reheat leftovers. Off the grid and no phone service. The bedrooms didn’t have blinds, the rooms still felt private because of the location but we all woke up quite early due to the light and the solar fairy light keep us up late in one bedroom. Road was really difficult for 2wd but probably made worse by the rain.
- Charlotte (8/5): Beautiful property but poor access - Beautiful appointed property in a lovely tranquil setting. Gorgeous verandahs and outdoor entertaining area The access road was very rough and potholey. We were only told the day before that it wasnt suitable for low cars. This meant car shuffling and picking up one of the family in town and more driving on the rough road and family members refusing to travel on the road again. We were fine in my husbands large 4 WD but for the city guests it was a shock.
- Tomlinson (8/5): Very good - Presentation very inviting. Beautiful surroundings Quite remote so a comprehensive list of supplies is necessary. No Blinds on bedroom windows
- Chante (10/5): Fabulous place!! - It was absolutely gorgeous and quiet. 😍 The road is a little scary leading to the property.
- Madeleine (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (8/5): Very good - Hi, we were3 there for a family wedding and whilst the property was amazing, it was probably a bit far which was not the hosts fault, as we should have checked location better. The drive in is a bit hectic but property/accomm was lovely!! Wish we could have spent the weekend staying at the property off-grid. thanks The road in.
- Anna (8/5): We picked the stay for my daughter’s wedding the kitchen was well stocked & comfortable. The fireplace was a lovely - We enjoyed the location One of the bedrooms was small & my partner kept hitting his knees on the end of the bed when getting in & out. The location was delightful however the road to get there was really bad & quite a distance out of town than we expected. Shower had no exhaust & 2nd bath was in another location not in main house. So not really user friendly for 2 couples.no hairdryer supplied & only 1 roll of tp was in the bathroom
- Nick (9/5): Perfect stay for families or two couples. - Great location to visit local area, clean large house and perfect for families. Would be great if it had AC but understanding its location makes it difficult.
- Chanel (10/5): We had such a beautiful stay with my family. The house has everything you need, very clean and comfortable. The real fir - The beautiful outlook surrounding the property, so calming and peaceful that you never want to leave.
- Jordan (10/5): Perfect rural getaway with all the comforts of home - Everything was amazing, great facilities, beautiful location, absolute tranquility
- Emma (9/5): We had a wonderful time, peaceful and surrounded by nature. - Incredible property with amazing views. Absolute serenity surrounded by nature. Needs a microwave and some instant coffee provided. Perhaps an electric kettle also.
