- Kevin (8/5): Unusual place to stay - The house is lovely and very well equipped and a huge upper garden which on dry or sunny days offered a lovely view . The beds are comfortable and the shower was great. The location whilst difficult to navigate to ( depending on which route you take ) is glorious and can take your troubles away just by looking at it We felt the parking is only suitable for a small car . Alot of early morning activity which we assume would be worse in the summer. We were awoken early by deliveries / workmen/ council bin collections but once that was out the way there was the peace and quiet you expected . Do not enter the village via the totnes route as you're regret it . Go dartmouth route in if you can
and do some homework in regards to shops etc . The village only has one pub now and a shop which opens 8,30 -2.30 but has everything you might need
- Linda (10/5): We had an amazing few days and enjoyed visiting the local area. - Everything! The cottage is absolutely stunning and so welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need and we loved the large wire lobster art piece. The garden has a lot of steps and the view is gorgeous. We enjoyed eating our breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay. It is such a peaceful haven.
- Pip (10/5): The most incredible cottage with stunning views - The cottage itself was stunning - the exterior, the interior - from all the high quality appliances to the super warm heating system.. home from home..! Nothing - we loved every bit of it ..!
- Clare Louise (8/5): - Comfortable warm and clean No Christmas decorations or potato masher or dishwasher tablets
- Jane (9/5): Perfect place to unwind and discover everywhere by boat, without needing to use the car. If weather is good you can eat - The panoramic view over River Dart
Very quiet and peaceful
Convenient for the ferry boats and Anchorside Cafe
Excellent facilities and tasteful decor Tricky parking, even for a small Mini
Bedroom windows need a better catch as they tended to blow wide open and two panes of glass looked cracked
Took a while to find washing machine, as no indication where it was!
- Armin (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Beautifully appointed house in a special place with fantastic views! - Loved the location, property spec’d to a very high standard, very comfortable and stylish. Breathtaking views! Nothing
- Lucy (10/5): Relaxing & amenities on hand in the village - Excellent facilities, kitchen well supplied for all types of cooking. Spacious and relaxing. Would have loved to use the garden but the weather wasn’t on our side. Wonderful view from the garden.
