Guest Reviews
- Mark (10/5): Great caravan, would definitely stay again. - Exactly what we needed in terms of location and facilities in the caravan. Dog friendly was perfect. Lovely caravan, and it also meant we didn't have to get a Haven booking with their limited flexibility. Also to say, the owners were brilliant, really helpful and we really appreciated everything they did. Nothing.
- Adams (7/5): - Location and price A bit of a chaotic checking in
- Sue (9/5): Good family accommodation. - Comfortable and homely caravan within easy walking distance of the beach. Owners were very responsive and helpful.
- Gemma (8/5): - Nice location and quite everything you needed in caravan The layer of carvan but thats my opinion
- Gillian (9/5): - Amazing decor and large space. We vould feel the springs in the matresses.
- Thafzal (10/5): - The whole environment.
- Jack (10/5): - Place was very nice, and the owners were helpful when we had questions. Felt very homely and clean Couldnt really find anything we didnt like
- Carole (10/5): Fantastic getaway - Sunflower cottage was in a ideal location at Rockley Park, our stay was perfect with everything provided that we needed for a relaxing getaway.
Towels, toilet rolls, tea and coffee, shower gel, bedding was provided.
The WiFi was excellent and with the large tv having cable channels.
There were two toilets which both had showers, never come across that before in a caravan.
There were three bedrooms, one double and two twins.
The kitchen had utensils, microwave, toaster, kettle, oven with plenty of plates, glasses. Mugs etc.
Thou I would recommend perhaps getting some cooking thongs and a larger frying pan.
If you're looking for a getaway then I highly recommend sunflower cottage.
Lastly fantastic communication from the hosts regarding entry and if there where any problems. Nothing to dislike.

- Beimaviciute (10/5): - We really like our stay it was nice and clean and we had welcome present from owners. It was everythink what we needed we were very happy
- Joanna (1/5): Appalling, avoid... - Nothing at all. Firstly we contacted the hosts to try to book passes for the pool a fortnight in advance. The hosts ignored this until I asked three times. They then offered to book them the day before 'if there was still spaces'. This was a bit of a red flag. Communication was poor before we even got to the caravan.
We arrived (lone female traveller with small children incl a disabled child) for 2pm check in.
The caravan was easy to find but on a huge site so parking is very tight/busy. The caravan is situated right next to a busy train line.
I stepped out of the car trying to avoid the dog mess and mud - there are slabs to park on but none to get to the door. The steps and decking were covered in leaves and dirt so quite slippy. The door is broken so doesn't close properly, you have to lock it behind you.
We stayed for around 30 minutes whilst calling a Travelodge to go straight to (I could have gone home but would have had very upset children).
The caravan is completely unsanitary and frankly, filthy. I contacted the hosts straight away who could not even be bothered to apologise not look at the photographs I forwarded across to them. I offered that maybe we had arrived before the cleaner had a chance to clean but this was ignored.
My messages were polite but they refused to communicate nor accept any liability and I am now going through the motions of getting a refund through my bank. The agent has raised a complaint also.
A short run down on the issues inside the caravan:
Dirty floors throughout, patchy dirty walls, tea stains in the sink, filthy washing up sponge with no sealant around the back of the sink, rusty old radiator on the bathroom with chipped tiles and non flushing loo (I took a video), dirty old soap bottles that looked all bent over from the age, shower gel on the shower tray, underwear in the bedroom drawer, a remote left out with the back off and no batteries inside, jammed coffee maker, sellotape left on the walls and ceiling(!
- Claire (6/5): -
- David (8/5): - it was quite hard to find in the dark, the name didnt match the one on the side of the caravan we could see - Equinox.
- Joe (8/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): We had a lovely 3 night stay in the caravan, our hosts were very helpful with questions. Rockley Park is ideal for child - The caravan was lovely, the kitchen was fully kitted out with everything we needed. It has two showers which was very convenient.u
- Shelley (6/5): - The park location was good. Accommodation location good. WiFi and streaming on tvs It was dated and lacked cleanliness in places. Difficult to sort heating, a puddle on the kitchen floor when we arrived, mish-mash off very old cutlery and utensils, only 1 shelf between the grill and cooker. It was below the standard of similar caravans we have hired for a similar price.
- Gill (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Appreciated the cleanliness. Good location - Well equipped in most areas No tea towel for frying dishes
- sam (9/5): Great stay - Great location for monkey world and Poole.
Easy to check in, all clean and comfortable Was a shame we didn't have passes to use facilities

- Julien (10/5): - Wirklich super! Werden wir wieder buchen
- Kurt (8/5): A pleasant location in a holiday park with many facilities in a nice environment. - De aanwezigheid van 3 slaapkamers en 2 toiletten. Sommige matrassen zijn aan vervanging toe.
Deelnemen aan activiteiten op het park is betalend en/of met voorafgaande boeking.
- Daniela (8/5): - Nahe an sehr schönem Strand gelegen
- Jennie (7/5): It served it's purpose and provided us with a place to sleep for the weekend - Liked the complimentary bottle of Prosecco and chocolates
- errol (10/5): Lovely place for a overnight stay.kids loved it clean tidy love the little touches you made thank you to the owners - Clean and homely
- Igor (10/5): - Excellent service, clean and comfy, highly recommend. Very impressed with the present from owner. Everything is perfect
- Charith (10/5): Exceptional - Very spacious for a caravan. Good amenities and atmosphere. Nothing.
- Yogith (9/5): Superb - Stay was perfect! Only thing is when leaving at around 11:30, the cleaning lady came and was saying we had to leave by 11:00 but it shows check out at 12:00! She was rude, apart from that everything was spotless
- Emma (8/5): Very good -
- Sarka (7/5): Good - It was cosy The toilet didn't flush
Beds weren't too comfortable
- Jan (9/5): Great accommodation. - Good communication, lovely location and great accommodation! All great!
- Lee (9/5): Superb -
- Bowden (10/5): Great unit lots of space - Very nice caravan with lots of space and it was nice getting a bottle of bubbly and some cakes when first arriving. Would reccomend staying here. Decking needs attention
- Leisat (9/5): Superb -
- Eugenia (9/5): Superb -
- Gourishetti (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cliveyb (8/5): Nice and convenient. - Good location. Very well furnished, clean and kitchen well equipped.
Fine for our short stay. As others have mentioned, the mattresses weren't the most comfortable.
- Melanie (10/5): Would book again - Lovely caravan! Homely, comfortable, better than expected. Struggle to find tools for BBQ, would have liked to be able to move BBQ a little further from caravan for safety reasons.
- Madeeha (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Overnight stay to visit a local attraction. Perfect for what we needed. - It had everything we needed and was very well priced. Warm and comfortable. There looked to be many facilities on the site but we didn't use them. Finding the caravan was a little difficult. The park had many tiny lanes and the map provided, though helpful, was hard to follow. Some written instructions would have been good. A dustbin outside would have been appreciated.
- Ikram (10/5): Loved my stay here. Thank you so much! - Really cute little caravan. Very homely and would love to stay again. It’s my same bugbear with all caravans ….. the mattresses but I do understand this is standard.
- Ben (8/5): Great little caravan, really clean and tidy, nice site. - Clean and cosy, accepts dogs.
- Samantha (10/5): Lovely home from home - Lovely caravan, all the comfort of home, everything has been well thought through. Comfortable beds with extra blankets. Coffee, biscuits and fruit in the kitchen as well as all you need to wash up and soap and toilet roll in the toilets.
- Venus (10/5): Amazing family trip - Everything about this cottage was excellent, the amenities, the rooms were very comfortable.the best thing was the barbecue, we made our small outdoor party .I would recommend this cottage for family or friends who want to relax and enjoy. The fridge is not working properly needs to be looked at if staying for more than one night the food can go off.
- Gordon (8/5): Very good -
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely lovely. Like a home from home
- Helen (9/5): Lovely, warm cosy stay - Very homely & had everything we needed for our stay. Heating was on when we arrived, so lovely & cosy. The en-suite shower was fabulous, brilliant water pressure & lots of hot water. Beds very comfy, snuggle blankets on every bed in case needed. Huge TV was a bonus, Netflix installed was another bonus! Excellent WiFi. Would stay again. Nothing
- Valerie (10/5): A lovely place - Lovely place to stay
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing stay - Beautiful place lovely hosts Nothing!
- Swinnerton (8/5): Highly recommended - An excellent last minute stay. The caravan was excellently equipped, with even a coffee pod machine, although we didn't use it. It was very clean, and had everything we could have wanted. I mean, the twin beds were quite narrow, but they always are in these places, so it's not a criticism. It was lovely and warm when we arrived, and stayed warm. The WiFi was very good, more than strong enough to watch Netflix in bed on a tablet, and the main TV had Netflix and Prime preloaded. All in all, very much recommended, one of the nicest we've stayed in. The only niggle was that it was quite close to the railway line, but we knew that from the location map, and frankly, having only booked it a day or so before, you can't have everything, and anyway, it didn't keep us awake.
- Caprisha (1/5): Issues - Decor was nice Had issues first with no hot water, then no heating, then tv digital channels not connecting and tv in bedroom not working.
- Leah (2/5): Very poor - The caravan had heating It wasn't very clean cutlery was dirty glass under bed cob webs everywhere cooker was greasy
- Anita (10/5): Honest recommendation - It was very cosy and inviting, very thoughtful of the guests comfort. Everything you would need from pen on the side to a coffee capsule machine, and most importantly, it was clean!
- Steen (8/5): Very good -
- Dale (10/5): Exceptional -
