Guest Reviews
- Fran (4/5): Overall poor and disappointing. Did not reflect the images in the listing and deception in the price. - It was v clean. The beds were not set up like the images. I booked it primarily because it said there were 4 double bedrooms. THAT was what was on the listing. But ALL the rooms were set up as twins. No doubles at all.
It was also freezing cold on arrival. (14 degrees) We were planning to get a take away but had to go out to eat because it was too cold to stay in. We put the central heating on but the radiators were virtually useless. The portable heaters worked but there were only 3.
The rug in the dining room were so curled up at the edges it was a terrible trip hazard. One of my party was 76. Strongly suggest you get rid of it to prevent falls.
The overall decor was very tired, carpet stains throughout apart from the kitchen - some of the doors didnt even actually close. including the bathroom!! No lock, and not even a bar of soap.
Lastly and critically there was a hidden insurance clause NOT made clear in the price. Either a £500 ‘refundable’ but frankly open ended deposit from a company I didnt know - or a £75 ‘guaranteed’ fee you had to pay before you got any instructions to get in to the property and AFTER you had already paid. Completely Outrageous.

- Robert (1/5): Great location, only positive. - Great location, that's where the things we liked end. Hidden fees, claimed £300 damage deposit but then charge £500, try to upsell you to get the £75 damage waiver that is non refundable. Poor communication, unpleasant hosts, called at 10am exactly complaining cleaner with her child was waiting at the front door when trying to tidy up a little bit for their benefit.
Driveway full of mud and slippy, unsightly overflowing bins all over the drive way along with bad smell when entering the house.
When entering the house in the dark, the hallway rug slips under foot. Trip hazards all over the house, curled rugs, broken doors with sharp edges. Uneven floors throughout, really loud too when walking around late at night if others are in bed.
No light working in the shower room, bathroom lock doesn't work, weird keycoded locks for the bedroom doors which made you unsure if you can close them.
Cold, musty smell in places, no curtains for the living room so no privacy. Bathrooms are very dated and again mould in places.
Pool room doors to outside don't close fully and let draft in, tried multiple times to close them but wouldn't, the door between conservatory and house wouldnt full close and let draft through.
Says double beds on listing but all single beds, host say we should have asked them to make them doubles without even letting you know they are single beds in the first place.
- Alan (10/5): - Good Communication, excellent property with parking onsite.
- Hamed (9/5): -
- Mahmood (9/5): A great place to stay for a family or a team - The observatory was amazing. We had a great time playing pool. The living rooms were spacious. The TV remotes were confusing. Way too many.

- Suzy (10/5): Excellent property for a family or group - Large, cosy property with a lovely back garden (my daughter played outside most evenings, we even had a picnic one night) and more than enough parking for several cars. Lots of closet space and a really lovely conservatory, which was where we tended to spend most of our morning and evening leisure time. Very convenient to QMC and the city centre. The beds were a bit firm, but I think that's a personal preference, and I probably like mine softer than most.
- Rebecca (10/5): Fabulous! Would book again - Warm, cosy and safe! Excellent value for money. Loads of space to socialise and to relax. Very pretty inside and felt like a home from home. The up stair shower drain needs unblocking. Was worried I was going to cause a flood
- Jonathan (9/5): It was so comfortable, so spacious. Ideal for a large family gathering. - Breakfast not included. The kitchen is a little sparsely equipped - very few dinner knives, for example, and not many mixing bowls and utensils and roasting trays. We managed but it would be nice to be a little better kitted out in the kitchen.
- Sheila (9/5): Superb - It felt homily Cobwebs on celling
- Elizabeth (6/5): Pleasant - Good size house. Bedroom each. Large oven not working, not made aware and luckily able to just cook and fit dishes in small working oven.
- Josef (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): A wonderful, spacious, peaceful home from home. - Really spacious and peaceful. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of areas to relax. Lovely clean linen and towels. Helpful communication from friendly owner.
- Anna (10/5): Great place to stay ! - The space and facilities were great Nothing
- Xueya (9/5): Thank you very much, we enjoyed our stay and definitely would like to come back in the future! - The house is very big and tidy and clean, we had a great stay, beds were quite soft and very comfortable. The toilet in the main bathroom does not flush very well and toilet seat is a bit loose, but not a huge problem.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - My mum was in for brain surgery at qmc so we booked to stay at the property for 48 hours to be close by location was perfect! Homeowners and housekeeper bibi was very pleasant and helpful to me and my family made our stay comfortable and convenient and less worries for our family, wish we had booked longer though as went to book a few more nights but it had gone, couldn't of gone anywhere more perfect
