The beds are so comfortable and even though it's January the boat was cozy and warm. That my husband won't stop going on about how he needs a boat now 🤣🤣. No honestly everything was perfect.

- Declan (10/5): We will be back - Absolutely fabulous stay on Vivienne in the most perfect place had an excellent night beats any hotel sat on the boat deck fishing with my little fella with the most perfect sunset atmosphere great nice quiet campsite with all amenities on hand couldn’t fault our stay big thanks to James who went over and beyond highly recommended service we will be back
- Moore (10/5): relaxing, lovely, definitely be back - lovely host, beautiful boat, plenty of space in the boat all over a very good stay
- Rina (10/5): Wonderful boat accommodation experience - The location was lovely, slightly apart from other boats which gave us a sense of privacy. There was more space within than expected along with storage spaces if intending to stay longer. Being able to bring our dog (golden retriever) was a major plus as she could also be comfortable onboard as well as the wooded path around the caravan park and multiple green areas were easily accessible for doggy relief. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use; if staying a longer time I recommend bringing large bottles of drinking water. Since it was our first time staying on a boat, it was comforting to know James was available to answer any queries. The beds were firm yet comfortable and kids loved their rooms/beds which were large capsule hotel style. Initially I was confused about location but it’s easy to find knowing the boat was docked within the Drumaheglis Caravan Park.
It was almost like a glamping experience. We were warm enough with electric heaters and extra blankets. The park provides clean facilities for extra toilets, 8 minute hot showers for £1 and a cafe (even though we didn't avail). If you didn’t feel like cooking or needed to get away, James was always informative of local eateries and recommendations. The whole family enjoyed the entire experience and would love to return again. Thank you.
- Gemma (10/5): Awesome experience - Beautiful location. The boat was amazing. 3 double bedrooms and all very comfortable. Facilities on boat brilliant, cooker, fridge freezer, shower and 2 toilets. Fully stocked with cooking utensils. The host James very informative and friendly. The boat was stocked with milk, coffee, teabags bread and different condiments. Dog friendly. Found a taxi firm who also took the dog(Route taxis). Dog friendly restaurant in Ballymoney, The Holestone. Food delicious. I will definitely be booking again for longer. There was nothing to dislike
- Hilary (10/5): Superb - We recently had the pleasure of staying overnight on The Vivienne River Boat on the River Bann, nestled in the picturesque Ballyhelgis Marina and Caravan Park in Ballymoney. The location was absolutely superb, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere.
The boat itself was wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean, providing everything you need for a relaxing stay.
What set this experience apart was the warm hospitality of the hosts. They were very friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable and stress-free.
Overall, our stay on The Vivienne was an absolute delight, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Nothing
- Pauric (10/5): Vivienne’s husband was very helpful with surprising my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day and went beyond expectations. Had - There was a lot more room than excepted and everything was very clean and better than the photos. Nothing, everything was perfect.
- Sacha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): My family and I spent a lovely weekend on the Vivienne . IJames the host met us and was very helpful and friendly. And w - It was a beautiful location, very clean, every you need provided , brilliant hosts and very comfortable. We didn’t dislike anything.

- Maresa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - The surroundings and location were perfect - peaceful and secluded but still only a short drive away from the local towns and facilities. The hosts were friendly and informative and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The boat accommodated our group of 2 adults 2 children and a dog without any difficulty and had everything on board we needed as detailed in the overview. Plenty of room to sit and eat, read, play cards etc. The site was well maintained with good, clean facilities including a children’s play park and cafe which served excellent freshly cooked food and a good variety of cakes and snacks. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Hazel (10/5): Defo love to do this again!! - James went above and beyond for us and i heard Kevin played a part in our happiness aswel The weather but that couldnt be helped 😣
- Marius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Molly (9/5): Superb -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely boat with amazing views, will be back Scenery
- Natalie (10/5): Fantastic stay will definitely be back - Host was fantastic, from communication before hand, to giving us local recommendations to go for walks and eat . He left us some northern Irish produce to try from taste causeway, Cornwall farm meat platters and dunarave tomoato and chilli jam along with some crackers , we really enjoyed these along with some cheese . Boat was clean and tidy, plenty of towels and bedding along with some toiletries and even some chocolate on the bed from the chocolate Manor , so tasty! Also had a selection of local coffees these were incredible!!!. Boat has everything you will need and more to enjoy your stay . We took our dog Winston along with us as they are dog friendly, our first trip taking him with us and I must say he really enjoyed it , especially the walk around the surrounding caravan park . 😀 we will most definitely be back and will bring the dog again with us and the kids. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend james
- Jenny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Daniel (1/5): Bad - It's was nice location. Nobody met us at the property. . We was planning this night long time and we drive 2 hours to this place . Very disappointed with this. One man that we find and he says he is only mechanic let us in .that's ok but when I sow that place not so clean we just leave and go home. Nobody even shows us how to lock that door so how we can stay there.
- Caitlin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ryan (10/5): Exceptional - Hard to put into words how much we enjoyed the 'Vivienne' experience because it exceeded our expectations.
We have been on various glamping/camping trips in recent years but staying on the boat has by far been the most unique and best local break for us bar none.
The views, peace and quiet, it almost felt like we had that part of the river Bann to ourselves because it is so secluded and private to the point that you dont want to actually leave it!
Kevin and James went above and beyond to make us feel not only welcome but nothing was too much trouble for them and we will definitely book again in the near furture.
- Caroline (10/5): A brilliant experience - Really enjoyed staying at the boat for an overnight - everything was perfect! Staff very knowledgeable and great to talk with. We stayed on a windy night and got to experience the waves rocking the boat a bit until it settled and we really enjoyed the calm motion of the wave- didn’t want to leave ! Fully kitted boat with some snacks and essentials included - our only complaint was that we didn’t stay long enough N/a
- Daniel (10/5): Excellent service, Location and gorgeous boat. - Location was absolutely fantastic. James was a gentleman Got to see the Seal looking for his breakfast in the morning. The weather 🤣
- Lauren (10/5): Amazing, worth it - Vivienne offered a beautiful view along with a sense of serenity,we left feeling very refreshed, and James the host was just lovely, have us lots of advice about local eateries and showed us around the boat, lovely welcoming personality, they had tea, coffee, milk, loaf and the host even went out of his way to provide us with the local homemade pot noodles from whoosh and wooow,we now have a new favourite, honestly it's been along time since I have such a good experience The only thing I didn't like was the oven as It was awkward to light, but the host was replacing the oven the next day so he can't lose any points for that still perfect
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Such a peaceful and relaxing experience, it was quite a windy night but the boat was very steady you wouldn't know you were on it , the host's were super friendly and inviting and very knowledgeable we cannot wait to return to stay longer next time as it has everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay , we would definitely opt for this as a getaway now far more than a hotel break
- Deborah (10/5): Stunning constant views, staff exceptional very passionate and experienced - I had the most amazing break! It was a constant natural moving landscape every second looking out the window! It would energise anyone. From someone who suffers from motion sickness I surprised myself. It is definitely a tick of any bucket list! I would recommend to anyone! What can I say…..nothing
