Guest Reviews
- Natasa (10/5): Cosy, relaxing and fun weekend hangout. - Really cute cabin vibe, the upstairs was especially fun for the kids. Marshmallows by the fire pit was a hit too.
- Karen (9/5): Great - Couldn’t find a book to help use the oven and dishwasher
- Purvi (8/5): Beautiful location for a staycation. - The location is absolutely beautiful - quiet, serene, and surrounded by nature. It was truly relaxing and enjoyable.
Their board game collection was fantastic as well. On Sunday, when the weather was extremely hot, we had a lot fun staying indoors and spending time playing the games. A lot of bugs kept getting in, even though all the doors and windows were kept shut. While the place appeared neat on the surface, we did notice that under the sofa and some of the utensils were not as clean as expected.

- Sue (8/5): Very comfortable we loved the house 🏡 - We loved the house very comfortable loved the fire place nice & warm very clean .. I did not like the main bathroom had to step into bath for shower a little dangerous. We did not know where to put our garbage when leaving no paper work to explain.
- Michelle (10/5): Had a wonderful and relaxing time away and would book again! - Beautiful, beautiful location, well maintained and clean property, Instructions for accessing the property were very straightforward. Small bin size in kitchen & location inside cabinet not ideal - a teeny bit inconvenient when cooking a lot, maybe a slightly larger exterior bin would be good if possible, or a kitchen top bin.
- Wesley (10/5): - The location and views.
The cabin was exceptional. Nothing
- Tai (9/5): -
- Jessie-lee (10/5): - It had a homey feel to it. Would definitely stay again.
- Kathleen (9/5): -
- Lisa (9/5): Beautiful cottage with lots of small details that made it special - Lovely cottage in gorgeous setting Water pressure wasn’t great
- Steph (8/5): A cosy home - Such a peaceful location, the grounds were nice and clean. The home was very clean and cosy. Firewood should be provided for the winter months, curtains/blinds for the doors down stairs would be useful to keep the heat in eapecially during the night aa it gets cold.
- Andrew (10/5): a beautiful location . we would love to come back again - we loved the farmland location. it was very peaceful and quiet. we had lots of space. the open fireplace created a lot of ambience in the evenings. some additional heating such as reverse cycle would be a great addition in the downstairs area
- Nongnuch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Teshana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yu (10/5): Great - The surrounding environment is great, and the room is clean, hygienic, and very cozy. The nearest supermarket is just a few minutes' drive away, making it very convenient. I would choose to stay here again if I have the chance.
- Paul (10/5): Highly recommended as an exceptional retreat!! - A roomy comfortable house in a quiet private setting gives the impression of a rural experience while remaining well-connected with the busy Richmond/Penrith area. In the downstairs bathroom, the shower is placed above the bath which could be a problem if someone has mobility issues.
While the upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower stall, the staircase to the upper level is quite steep and narrow so might present similar problems for the mobility challenged.
Perhaps this deserves to be flagged in the property description/photos.
- Rachel (10/5): Very peaceful, clean and comfortable with great natural surroundings - The cottage is on very picturesque, secluded and private, park-like acres. Check-in is easy, though you might need a torch and reading glasses for the gate lock if coming in late. The cottage features modern, minimal decor (fire place, air con, good kitchen, laundry) and has everything you'll need. We had a four night stay that included a storm and power outage one night - battery-operated candles and torches were on hand.
We spent a lot of time sitting on the wide verandahs, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, watching the bird life (sacred kingfishers, Scarlet Honeyeaters, grey shrikethrush, yellow-throated scrubwren), where there is a good size outdoor setting (and cushions) for entertaining.
The hosts were very good to deal with and responded quickly with a small repair issue. The pillows were a bit high and firm for us.
- Liza (10/5): Superb location and comfortable stay! - Location was excellent! No immediate neighbours and was quiet! Not much we didn't like!
- Christina (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cosy cottage, very clean, plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around. The outdoor fire pitt was a favourite, and the indoor fireplace was perfect for the colder morning. Had everything we needed to make it a great stay. A beautiful little getaway for a family or group of 4. Pillows were too firm so it wasn't a comfortable sleep but that was the only thing to fault. Loved everything else about the place.
