Guest Reviews
- Ann (10/5): Relaxing stay in a beautiful period property with excellent facilities close to the beach and local amenities. - The location was great, the facilities excellent. It was comfortable, clean and everything you could want for a relaxing stay. The host was very helpful . This is the third time we e stayed here, and hope to again. Nothing.
- Wolfgang (10/5): - Extrem bemühter und sympathischer Gastgeber👍👍👍👍Geniales altes Haus in schöner, ruhigen und zentralen Lage 😉👍
- Ann (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing stay in lovely seat front property. - This is the second time we’ve stayed here & we were looking forward to going back there. The apartment is spacious, comfortable & has everything you need including a sea facing balcony & a roof terrace. In a regency period building, it has quirky furnishings with a dishwasher & washing machine for convenience. With a lovely sea view & balcony to sit on, it is close to good restaurants & bars & only a short walk into the centre of town. It is really quiet and peaceful, & we were given parking permits to park outside. Would highly recommend & owner was very helpful. Nothing except we couldn’t stay longer.
- Sandra (6/5): Very quiet road, Right opposite the beach . No night time disturbance even from PERCH restaurant - The wonderful view of the sea in all its weather changes, and the easy walk to things like Worthing Pier
Due to our London Freedom Passes all of our bus travel was free
The mattress was comfortable
Full facilities like dishwasher (tablets supplied) and washing machine It was partly my fault for not fact checking, and for making assumptions based on the photos. The comment by the owner saying the upper floors are accessed by stairs didn't worry me too much - we have stairs here. I hadn't factored in that once in the entrance "lobby" you are faced with around 17 steepish stairs, leading to your front door (Flat 3)Once inside there are another 3 or 4 to get to the living room and another 17 to access the bedroom. Both bathrooms are on the same level. The shower room is great, excellent shower and it's roomy. The bath with the overhead shower is fixed into a holder, so high up even my husband standing IN the bath struggled to reach it. Eventually I found a travel kettle in the top drawer of the bedroom dressing table, got myself all organised for tea in bed next morning with a smashing view of the sea. The kettle was obviously faulty because the minute it was switched on it shorted the power TWICE (we checked to make sure it was the kettle doing it) and No visitor book telling you where the mains unit was. It's very high up the wall outside the downstairs toilet . The kettle should have been disposed of. The fully equipped kitchen has Fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher , microwave ,gas cooker. One of the rear burners had flames coming out of the base of it and one of the front ones had a broken knob so that burner was unusable. There is too much furniture in every room. Far far too much crockery in the cupboards and so much left over food in the cupboard I had no room to put ours One of the biggest problems for us was the bedding supplied during a heat wave. A feather duvet? No blanket to take its place. EVERY room had a preponderance of extension leads. The bedroom had 16 plugs of 4 sockets. Living room had even more. I would have liked to see electrical and gas safety certificates.
- Bradley (9/5): - All the utilities available being able to wash my clothes was something I did think I needed until I did, and thankfully, it was available. The chandeliers, being in the way of the door, swinging out. Quite frightened of breaking them
- Raymond (9/5): Thoughly enjoyed our stay. - The facilities at the accommodation, the period furniture. The duvet was too warm for the weather - some alternative sheets/blankets would have been useful.
- Ian (9/5): A comfortable, successful stay with easy walking access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Recommended ! - The location is very good. Excellent views of the beach and sea. Contact with owner was easy and effective. Accommodation fully equipped. Parking a little difficult sometimes even with the benefit of a parking permit but not surprising given the accommodation’s premium location.
- Annick (10/5): Fabulous but too short - It is always such a pleasure staying at New Parade as it is so ideally situated but mostly because the flat is welcoming, warm, well equipped, bright and comfortable. The best part of it is how friendly our host Aaron is and how easy it is to communicate with him. We are grateful to him for responding so promptly about a small issue and helping us resolve it!
- Hong (9/5): Very pleasant. - The flat is very comfortable with wonderful sea views without traffic. It is close to shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet and peaceful location.
The host was very helpful and promptly responded to our questions and needs.
- Young (9/5): Superb -
- Ann (10/5): We had a lovely time, it was peaceful, eating breakfast on the balcony was a bonus and it was convenient for town. - Lovely seat front property with balcony. Well equipped. Comfortable. Clean .QUIET. Comfy bed. En-suite but also toilet on lower floor. Perfectly situated for us as close to beach, favourite bar (beer no evil) and chipwick with a short stroll into town along the seafront. There is a handy pizza /cocktail place across the road (Perch) which was noisy. Quaint but comfortable with everything we needed. Handy parking permit from owner. Nothing. We’d happily stay there again.
- Margaret (10/5): Perfect - Clean and very comfortable property in an excellent location. Great outside space. The pictures didn’t do it justice as it was very spacious. Nothing, loved everything.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - The location All was fine
- Annick (9/5): Superb - We just love the location and the easy access on foot to everything available in Worthing.
The flat is bright, spacious and well equipped. The fact that we can enjoy breakfast on the balcony or lunch on the terrace is an added bonus. Also Aaron is always quick to respond to any query.
- Cheryl (5/5): Passable -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - A lovely place to stay, in a great location.
- Carol (8/5): Lovely view but. - The view was fantastic.
Quite
Right on sea front The furniture was old and needed mending.
The flat below smoking weed .
The hallway could do with a lick of paint
- Alexandra (10/5): Paradise! - It was such a peaceful and perfect place for our stay! The house was amazingly clean and nice! The view from the apartment is stunning…waking up in the morning was giving such a positive vibes!
People from Worthing was friendly and let us feel at home! Definitely we will book again in the future! Thanks to Aaron! 10/10! Everything perfect!
- Monique (9/5): Very relaxing with sea views and soundscape - The sea views, not being on a main road, being in a quieter area of Worthing early in the holiday season, the carefully chosen antique furnishings - well thought out to ensure visitor comfort. A visitor's instruction book to include instructions for heating system and recycling bins, and information about nearest food shops e.g., Waitrose Superstore
- David (9/5): Lovely place to stay, great sea views. -
- John (10/5): Beside the sea side - The sea side location. All was great.
- Annick (9/5): Fabulous - Just loved being by the sea and being able to enjoy the views from our bay windows while the storm was raging at high tide. Such a bonus to walk on promenade to and from town centre. The flat is well equipped and very cosy. Also good to be able to park the car on the road thanks to parking permit.

- Anthony (9/5): Enjoyable stay, nice accommodation, good location, parked car with no problems. Owner quick to help. - View overlooking the beach and sea
Good broadband
kitchen, all mod cons
Close to several pubs, restaurants
Ability to park, with the owner's help, outside our window, The wind got very strong most days. [So hardly the owner's fault!]
- Arnav (10/5): Exceptional - There is a lot of space and the owner is very friendly. The location is great, right by the beach.
- Alan (7/5): Good -
- Jeffrey (8/5): A flat with good facilities in a prime location - Very well stocked kitchen. Host organised parking permits to ensure easy parking. Having a local contact in the event of needing help.
- Ravindra (10/5): 10/10. - Great location and views from the accommodation.
- Nathaniel (10/5): Was the perfect get away for an anniversary! - The location was gorgeous and how the host was so understanding and polite. Some of the furniture was a bit old fashioned however, I see why people would love it also. So all and all no real dislikes just an opinion
