• John K Roberts (9/5): - The scenery the comfortability of the bed it's the best sleep I've had and will say the whole thing is one of the best experiences ever and would gladly do again The shower unfortunately was the downfall stopping a full 10 mark even with instructions i still couldn't seem to get it warm probably my stupidity I don't know

They added balloons and banners for my partners birthday and made it special the host was fantastic any questions we had they got back to us straight away. I will definitely come back and recommend.

Cold on arrival. Pillow lumpy. Blinds missing. Quirky but very small impractical kettle. Rules about what you can and can’t do were not very welcoming. Toilet wad dirty on arrival.

• Danielle (3/5): We were very unhappy with our stay as we had much high expectations from reading reviews and was very disappointed as th - The decor was very tasteful and the bed was incredibly comfortable. In walking distance to the bars and restaurants in the city There were many issues that affected our stay including health and safety issues that were worrying. The log burner wasn’t working correctly as it started to fill the boat with smoke. We could’t find clear instructions for use. The fire extinguisher was found in a draw by coincidence and if we were to need it we would have never found it. There was a lack of privacy as the blinds do not fit the windows correctly. We could not find the manual on the boat and therefore we had no power to the mains sockets despite the board n the bedroom stating they were working. We had no hot water although we followed the instructions sent to us. Also a very frustrating issue was there was no kettle or pans to boil water to make a hot drink, which was unexceptional. One final thing was the boat banged against the side of the canal wall during the night as there were no buffers along the boat to prevent the noise. This caused disturbed sleep.

• Donna (10/5): Book this now! - What isn't there to like!!! This was a last minute stay cation. A surprise for my wife. We had the best time. 1st of all, the location is great. It was quiet, with lovely views. Watching the lights of the city twinkle on the canal was priceless. Parking was only a few minutes walk from the boat itself. The outside of the boat is in immaculate condition. Stepping inside... well what can we say. We were blown away. The decor is beautiful down to every last touch. There was a very comfortable sofa next to a wonderful log burner which kept us warm and toasty on a very cold winters night. Moving further into the boat, we were able to make our evening meal and cooked breakfast in the very cute kitchen, we particularly loved the small pot kettle that heated up on the stove. Next to the kitchen through a door is the bathroom, we were pleasantly surprised by a beautiful wooden sink, the bathroom was so well designed and quirky. Then finally next to the bathroom through another door was the bedroom. The bed fills the whole of the back of the boat. Its very high, there was a step upto it. We almost felt like little kids climbing upto the top bunk but we loved it. It was extremely comfortable. I personally slept very well. Over all we were so so pleased with the cleanliness, communication from the owner, great vibes of the decor, location and price of this booking. We had never stopped on a narrow boat before, this definitely won't be our last time! The only thing that would have made this booking better is........ If we had got more time and stopped another night. But unfortunately working life and reality calls.

Nonostante l'intervento dell'assistenza la caldaia è andata in blocco e ci ha visto costretti dormire sul divano vestiti, perché almeno con la piccola stufetta si percepiva un po' di calore.

• Sarah (5/5): So cute, romantic and stylish but we did not find it relaxing. - So cute with such stylish decor. Communicative hosts. Great location. Despite the lovely stylish look, we did not have the most comfortable stay. The smell of the toilet/sewage in the bedroom. No ‘boat book’ so I had to ask questions. It was cold. It was so lovely but delicate and we felt we had to be concerned about several things ; not using too much electricity or water. Parking was a nightmare.
• Anja (8/5): - Auf einem Kanalboot zu übernachten war eine tolle Erfahrung! Die Einrichtung war grundsätzlich auch super. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut und hilfreich! Aber jeder sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es sehr eng ist. Wir waren drei Erwachsenen und es war eine kleine Herausforderung ;)

• Louise (9/5): Superb - Location was great, easy to get to from Piccadilly on free yellow bus number 1 which stops at Deansgate Station and the boat was literally 5 mins walk. Loved the unique experience and having breakfast with the ducks! Will definitely return.
