Luce fastidiosa all'ingresso della camera situata su un gradino che ci ha disturbato tutta la notte. Forse non siamo stati noi in grado di trovare l'interruttore. Doccia (Sopratutto soffione) e WC completamente da ripensare.

Ho scelto questa location per il giorno del mio matrimonio ed abbiamo alloggiato qui con tutta la mia famiglia. Il palazzo è bellissimo e decorato molto bene! La location è centralissima ed anche un po’ rumorosa.

• Bruno (8/5): da ripetere , Acireale è in posizione strategica per visitare la Sicilia orientale - in generale la location e l'assistenza da parte dell'host, molto attento e disponibile e la simpatia di Michela unico piccolo appunto, considerando che la colazione è servita presso un bar ristorante al piano terra della struttura , ok per la comodità, durante il nostro breve soggiorno la scelta di prodotti era un po' limitata facendo colazione tra le 7 e le 8

• Valerie (10/5): Clean, convenient, and very pleasant. The building is beautiful! - It was right in the main square, in the heart of everything. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice and helpful. They gave me a voucher for breakfast, and all I had to do was walk downstairs and get a nice breakfast at the bar. There were also common areas where you could sit outdoors on a terrace, make coffee or tea and relax in a sitting area. There was nothing lacking.

• Edmund (10/5): - A beautiful and comfortable place to stay, ideally located in the centre of Acireale. Spacious room, comfortable bed, good shower. The host, Luca, was welcoming and considerate, allowing me to change my booking to another room from which I had a wonderful balcony view of Piazza Duomo. Staff who showed me to my room were extremely helpful, and staff at Al Duomo provided breakfast. The train station is 35 minutes by foot, but this also gives the advantage of leaving Acireale a quiet local community without large numbers of tourist visitors. There is a bus that goes to the station, but its timetable is a mystery. This would have been useful for visitors to know. The breakfasts were very minimal (coffee or granita plus a pastry). It was possible to add a spremuta, but there could maybe have been more food options such as eggs or granola/cereals. I brought some granola and milk myself, but the bar could only supply a flat plate instead of a bowl. The shower was excellent except that sometimes the cord got stuck in the piping, which impeded the control of water temperature.

• Sis (10/5): To fall in love with - I would definitely move in here. I don't know how many hotel rooms I've stayed in around the world, but this is one of the most beautiful. Wonderfully airy and elegantly furnished. Absolutely ideal, perfect location with a view of the dome and the cathedral. Miraculously, I was here at the time of the Jazz Festival, so the great music was still included. On Saturday evenings, the square is filled with people until late at night, a very nice lively atmosphere. The interaction with the Bar al Duomo is excellent. 👌If you have a passion for really good food and don't consider home cooking style or pizza to be the culinary navel of the world: ALLORO is highly recommended. I had an excellent dinner there and returned to BAROQUE very full and very happy. (And was only hungry again 24 hours later!). Acireale is wonderfully relaxed and has also retained its Sicilian dignity (unlike Palermo, which has mutated into a fast food and party town due to its 6 million tourists every year, who mainly drink and party there). • Falakboland (8/5): Nice stay, need some minor improvements - The location of the hotel was awesome. It is perfect if you have a wedding or invited to one. So close and easy. The room was really big and nice. Even though there were two bars underneath, there was no noise to bother. The room had an AC. The blanket was a little thin and I was a bit cold. There was a light ( safety light ) in the room that couldn't be turned off. I found it unnecessary as the room should be dark for some people during sleeping. The toilet was a bit small and the shower head was too short, also we had problems with the warm water. The water took so long to warm up and the water pressure was low. I think this should be fixed.

• Jan (9/5): Beautiful room with great view on a historical piazza - Acireale is a beautiful small town near to Catania. The room was beautiful and had this great view on two marvelous churches and the central piazza. Also the bathroom is modern and super clean. You can have a small Italian breakfast in the bar underneath (which we liked very much) and there is a cleaning lady passing each day if you want indicate that at the door. Just to know: we were there on a weekend with festive days which meant that the church bells were ringing very very often and very loud ( it is right in front); we didn’t mind too much but if you don’t like it… Also the bar next door played music outside till quite late. Traffic is a bit complicated in Acireale and parking place is at a walk’s distance.
• Mareth (10/5): Thank you - We loved our little balcony overlooking the piazza, the location was ideal, the staff responsive, the sweet baroque architecture and spacious room were lovely. You must appreciate the campanile awaking you in the morning and the lovely crowd below each evening enjoying dinner and vino. We did!
• Nidal (9/5): Great location, amazing people in that part of the city - Amazing location with great evening events happening all around. All restaurants had delicious food and good vibe. Would recommend the location and travel around from there to the surrounding destinations, including Etna, which is a must. The facility is good but definitely had room for improvements. The concept of having breakfast in the restaurant next door is a wonderful combination, the room in its self had no window and some things were already worn of - like the shower. Would categorize it more in the mid 8 rating category (especially because of the location, which was amazing), definitely not in the nines.

• Sydney (9/5): Beautiful B&B in the heart of Acireale! - We loved the location with a window and balcony across from the Duomo. The room was large and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. We loved being so close to restaurants and shops. Our communication about the property was efficient and friendly. Checkin at the cafe downstairs was seamless and Paula was delightful explaining the property to us. All in all a lovely experience. For car travellers with luggage, you can drop off luggage before 6pm but after that cars are not allowed in the square. The car park is not far unless you have a lot to carry!

• Duana (8/5): Beautiful place in the heart of the town. - Beautiful place, and felt private. Great view from the Double room. The church bells start early, and well we did choose to stay directly across from them so it wasn’t the hotels fault , but it wasn’t considered upon booking. There were nightly festivities ending around 1 am, so we learned to enjoy a late night.

• Cecilia (9/5): Lovely spot in Acireale - Great location opposite the main square. The first room we were shown was not what we thought it was going to be but, for a fee of 20 euros, we were given the room with the view advertised. Very clean and tastefully decorated, it has aesthetic appeal. We were the only people there so it was very quiet in the building. Very pleasant waitress in the bar who was courteous and helpful despite being busy serving in the bar. The bar below manage the property which takes getting used to but they were pretty swift in serving us despite being a very busy bar. We didn't have towels when we got there and it took a long time for them to arrive. Maybe due to the room change? Breakfast is served in the bar below which is fine, they gave a voucher for that. We were also given a discount card for the bar. I'm not sure that a 5% discount in the bar is very enticing - go bigger or go home. Make it 30% and you have a captive market.
