A stunning and really clean house with a wonderful garden, tastefully furnished rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, and a kind and helpful host. Also well connected to the centre of the city. Having had to work remotely, it was a perfect stay and I really can't find a single flaw! Next time I'm in Bern, I'm sure I'll book here :) No flaws!

• Felix (10/5): Gerne wieder! - Lage ist top, zentral und doch sehr ruhig. Wunderbarer Garten und schöne Loft mit Balkon. Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Gemeinschaftsbad kann unter Umständen etwas herausfordernd sein, falls man etwa zur selben Zeit aufstehen muss. Ist aber lösbar!

There wasn’t anything to NOT like. The owner, Denise, was wonderful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again at this location the next time I visit Bern.

• Phillip (9/5): Loft Lodging in Beautiful Bern - Convenient access to downtown and the Aare River from this neighborhood on the hill. Hosts were most gracious and even allowed usage of two bikes. Efficient and well equipped kitchen. The adjacent school is a bit noisy during daylight hours. The kitchen, living room, and small balcony are shared between 2 rooms. Our neighbors were polite and compatible with sharing our kitchen and patio time.

Comme prévu, la salle d’eau, les toilettes et la cuisine étaient partagées avec les occupants de l'autre chambre. Nous n'avons côtoyé à cette occasion que des gens sympathiques et très respectueux (Bern n'est pas un haut lieu du tourisme de masse), donc l'expérience était agréable, mais ne conviendrait pas aux allergiques à la collocation. Le logement est décoré avec goût, une maison d'artiste. Le quartier est cossu et très calme, mais vivant et tout proche du vieux centre-ville. Les hôtes sont formidables, avec un délicieux sens de l'accueil : nous étions au petits soins !

Lage war traumhaft (hochwertiges Wohnviertel mit viel Grün und Parkplatzmöglichkeit, fussläufig Innenstadt 15-20 Minuten). Nette und zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Die Unterkunft empfehle ich uneingeschränkt.

Ich fühlte mich sehr sicher, gemütlich und bequem, wie nach Hause… die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und sehr gut eingerichtet. und sehr ruhig. eine Wohnung mit Seele einfach und sehr schön und in einer wunderbaren Lage… ich bin sehr froh, das ich dabei war und ich glaube, ich hätte keine bessere Unterkunft finden können.

• Diane (10/5): Perfect place to stay in an absolutely beautiful town! - Lovely house in a lovely neighborhood. A short walk to the tram, which was then just a short ride to Central Old Town. We had a spacious loft apartment which was comfy and so well decorated. Our ‘stay’ was made even nicer because of the owner, Denise. She was so accommodating and delightful! Nothing!
• Petr (8/5): - Velmi hezké a klidné místo ve vilové čtvrti. Nádherná a pro hosty přístupná zahrada. Pan domácí byl velmi milý. Do centra sice dál, ale hezká procházka čtvrtí plnou zeleně. Parkování přímo u domu. Pokoje moc hezky zařízeny v retro stylu. Možnost využít společný obývací pokoj. Pokud máte těžký kufr, musíte ho vytáhnout do podkroví úzkým schodištěm. 2 pokoje si sdílejí toaletu a koupelnu, což jsme sice dopředu věděli, ale stejně nás to nakonec trochu nepříjemně zaskočilo.

• Thomas (10/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Loft wieder buchen! - Die ruhige Lage, die schöne alte Villa mit großem Garten, die geräumige Wohnung mit zwei abgetrennten Schlafzimmern, der kleine Balkon mit Gartenblick! Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, alles war sehr ordentlich und sauber. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und gab nützliche praktische Tipps. Lediglich die Beleuchtung im unteren Schlafzimmer und Wohnzimmer war etwas umständlich zu bedienen. Sonst haben wir absolut nichts zu bemängeln.

• Pascal (9/5): Lovely room in a two-bedroom maisonette apartment. - Really lovely place, clean and well equipped, close to the campus of the local school. Check-in is easy and the host communicates well. I was only there for a short time, but would come back if I had to find a place in Bern again. When walking through the school campus to the place, the entrance is hard to find in the dark. You'll have to find a little unlit woodchip path and a gap in the hedge. Google maps is confusing, as it shows a connecting street where there isn't one. The description for this could have been better.

• Gail (10/5): Beautiful Bern!Bears, river float and views - Love the sweet house that we stayed in we were in the loft which was a hefty climb with bags but once we settled in, it was great. It is a shared space. There are two guest rooms with a shared bathroom shared living room, shared kitchen. A quick bus ride from the train station, close to bears and beautiful Aare river and rise garden. Great sunset views walking distance away. Delightful hostess, Denise. It was a bit of a challenge going down steep steps in the middle of the night to use toilet.

Cucina, bagno e soggiorno sono da condividere con gli ospiti di un'altra stanza, ma tutto è ben attrezzato e comodo. La camera è essenziale ma molto carina. E un giardino curato e allegro circonda la villa, bianca con finestre azzurre. Dal centro della città si arriva facilmente a piedi o con il bus 12. Nulla.

Very nice and incredibly clean rooms exquisitely decorated featuring Denise’s art, which I enjoyed as much as, or more than, the Klee museum. The property has a beautiful garden, and Denise was a great host. No complaints.

In 4 Wochen Schweiz mit Abstand die besten drei Tage im artroom - Das Wunderschöne Haus mit dem tollen Garten, die künstlerisch geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die helle gemütliche Loftwohnung, die herausragende Lage, das sehr bequeme Bett, die Ruhe, der Balkon, die gut ausgestattete Küche und vor allem die freundliche sehr hilfsbereite Vermieterin. Der Loft hat zwei grosszügige Zimmer mit bequemen Doppelbetten und Schreibtisch die sich eine Küche ein modernes Bad und ein Wohnzimmer und Balkon teilen. Man fühlt sich gleich wie in einem schönen Zuhause. alles war perfekt
• Samantha (9/5): Excellent apartment, highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. - We stayed in the loft which was fabulous with everything you would need, 2 large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Location is great, 20 min walk or just a 2 or 3 stops on the tram which is free with your guest pass. Denise, the host is so friendly and helpful. Did take pictures but they didn't do the apartment justice hence not put them on. The only slight downside was no air conditioning so we had to have the windows open at night so some noise early mornings BUT we did go in the middle of a freak heatwave of 35 degrees!

• Betina (9/5): Liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Gartennutzung - Sehr schöne Unterkunft im Haus im Grünen. Die Sonnen- und Schattenplätze im Garten sind einladend. Viel Platz in der liebevoll ausgestatteten Wohnung. Ein kleiner Balkon mit Blick auf den Garten, im Hintergrund die Berge. Mit dem Bus (Gratistageskarte) ist man schnell im Zentrum. Zu Fuß ist es ein Spaziergang mit herrlichem Blick auf Bern. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, vielen Dank! Die Zimmer sind in den oberen Etagen, das ist ok, aber nicht für jeden praktisch.
