Guest Reviews
- Joy (8/5): An excellent experience and location, with a very welcoming team that helped us to check in. - Very convenient location with lots of amenities. Kitchen was fully equipped, dining area and living area were both spacious and comfortable. It became very hot, even with the fan on! High 20s to low 30 degrees celsius inside the apartment at all times - maybe due to the heatwave? Found it difficult to create airflow with the windows not being able to be fully opened (although, we didn’t ask the property for alternatives either so that could be on us).

- Angela (4/5): - Location Sorry to say we were disappointed. You need to spend some money maintaining the property out of the profit made. It wouldn’t take much to clean the stains off the sofa, wash the cushion covers and paint the dirty walls. We had to hang towels over doors because the hooks were stuck on with celotape and fell off. I also stood on a nail because the carpets had not been vacuumed properly. There was a dirty smell in the property. I hope the marks on the bedding were makeup and I did not appreciate someone else’s long dark hairs everywhere. You need to replace the toilet seat and the shower is no more than a trickle. We were without WiFi for most of the stay, not surprising considering the ancient Reuter and loose wiring to the wall. The hallway is filthy dirty and a tenant in the block complained about the flat being an illegal let. So, on the photos, it’s a wow factor but just not good enough and to be honest we were glad to leave.

- Mccrum (2/5): Would never stay here again. Really disappointed given cost due to the noise and not suitable for 4 - Location was good as close to Quayside and easy walk up the hill to town. The noise was awful despite double glazing. Right by a noisy junction with buses and lorries and 3 late night and very noisy bars/clubs outside. Kept awake by shouting and screaming drunks.
Sofa bed was not big enough despite querying with the agent who confirmed it had been made up for us as a bed. It definitely wasn't big enough for 2 children let alone 2 adults so we had to purchase an inflatable mattress. See photo!
Apartment was far too hot and no option to open the sash windows as seemed to be painted shut or just very stiff!
Boiler cupboard smelt like gas but agent said no gas was supplied to apartment so unsure what the smell was linked to but was not nice whenever we had to go in it to use ironing board or kitchen knives which were on magnets inside cupboard door....
- Hamad (7/5): Apartment without lift, A/C - 1. The staff is very cooperative.
2. It is close to Newcastle Castle, close to supermarkets, restaurants, and port. 1. It is 10 minutes walking from the train station and to the city centre.
2. It is a very difficult way to reach the apartment .we should walk up or down more than 150 steps or walk up or down on the ramp .
2. The building is very old.
3. There is no lift in side. We have to lift our luggage more than 40 steps, especially if you have 4 big luggage, each one 20 kg.
4.No A/C in the apartment, but they provided 2 no of stand fan.
5. The step ladder is dirty, poor cleaning
- WIJESURIYA (9/5): Well furnished beautiful apartment surrounded by restaurants, cafes & nightlife - Location, cleanliness & internal deco Disposables not sufficient for length of stay
Bedding for 3rd person
- Will (9/5): Great apartment - Well maintained , nicely furnished very clean Entrance to the apartments was very grubby , it needs a good clean and refubished
- Gladys (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frederick (8/5): Nice flat, great location. - location, size, equipment were all great Internet was slow and kept cutting out, requiring router reboot.
- Giorgia (9/5): Superb - My family stayed here for the weekend during their visit in Newcastle. When they arrived, only a double bed was available while we booked for three people. However, the owners were super available and immediately understood the situation. The day after, they made us find the upstairs sofa-bed ready to use for the third person, together with a pack of chocolates to apologise for the inconvenience. We really appreciated it.
The flat is very warm, clean and ideal for a family. However, you need to advise them in advance if more than two people are going to stay in the flat.
We really enjoyed our stay there. We recommend it.
