• Mona (8/5): - Staff was very nice and helpful with any of our questions. The room was very clean and there was free water. The location was good, quiet area but everything walkable. Check in was very smooth.
• Olivia (9/5): Fantastic stay, clean, comfy and great facilities - Amazing property, really comfy. Hammock and coffee making facilities, fridge and plates/cutlery was a great touch. Only tiny thing was it’s a bit of a walk from town but we didn’t mind this at all
• Aline (7/5): - Die Zimmer sind sehr gross und geräumig. Sie haben allerdings noch viel Potenzial. Bett war leider richtig durchgelegen und Bettdecke fühlte sich an wie Backpapier. Vorhänge zum abdunkeln wären von Vorteil. Aussenbereich könnte charmanter gestaltet werden.

• Veronika (8/5): Klidně se vrátíme - bezproblémové parkování pohodlná postel čisto dobrá komunikace přes whatsapp a jako bonus-krásná, mazlivá kočička :)) příšerný tlak vody v koupelně, umýt si vlasy trvalo věčnost škoda, že před pokojem není střecha, dalo by se venku sedět i v dešti lokalita dál od centra, ale nijak nám to nevadilo
• John (8/5): - The rooms are on one side of a compound shared with two houses, with keys accessed in a lockbox. The room was bright, clean and spacious and had a good firm bed with nice cotton sheets. Air con and wifi worked really well as well as hot water in the shower. The location is very peaceful at night. We would've liked a bedside light and maybe another chair. We booked at the last minute but the owner responded quickly and Silvana, the property manager, answered all our queries promptly. We liked it so much, we stayed longer. The yard looks a bit shabby with cig ends, beer cans and bits of trash lying about, out of keeping with the rooms.

• Alexandra (9/5): Très bon logement - Logement fonctionnel, propre et confortable. Très bon emplacement. Pas loin du centre dans un environnement plutôt calme. L’internet fonctionne bien. Échanges faciles avec le propriétaire.

• Christiana (10/5): Excellent stay in Bacalar - Spacious and clean room, comfortable bed, nice extra touches like coffee, water and a small fridge, walking distance to everything you need. Would definitely recommend Ukayil! Nothing!

• Supi (8/5): Lovely room, safe but unlit streets. - Really lovely room. Nice touches like coffee machine and coffee provided and cutlery and crockery. The room was well lit in daylight, with two windows. But there was only one not very bright electric light. A reading light would be a great addition. Also, it's worth being aware that although it's only a few minutes walk to the centre the last part is on unlit streets with lots of dogs. Personally, I didn't feel comfortable venturing out after dark because I didn't want to deal with the dogs barking at me. During the day they were sleeping and not interested but in the evening they would bark at the slightest thing and set each other off.
• Libbytes (10/5): The best place we stayed in Mexico - We absolutely loved our stay here at Ukayil, the room was MASSIVE and very comfortable with all amenities you need, even a coffee maker, plates and cutlery. The A/C was amazing, the room is decorated nice, check-in was a breeze with little lock-boxes to collect keys after hours. The bathroom and shower were very good too and there was lots of space to hang clothes inside and also a washing line outside too. The location was quite good too, it's about 15 minutes to walk into the centre from here, which is not bad, and you definitely don't need a taxi to the centre or to the boat jetties or free municipal swimming area - they are all walkable. But it may be a bit far for some - but taxis are cheap if you need them. The taxi to the ADO station from here was ~mx$40. The host was also very helpful and nice, bringing us blankets when we first checked in, and then helping us arrange a taxi to the ADO station to leave on the last day. Overall, this property is probably the best value for money place we've stayed in this whole trip through Mexico, given the comfort and size of the room, walking distance to centre and great price, we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Thanks for having us!!
