• V K M (10/5): Fantastic Family Getaway in Vagamon! - We recently stayed at Spathodea - The Forest Flames in Vagamon, and it was genuinely one of the best homestay experiences we've had. The vibe here is incredibly cozy and relaxed. We stayed in one of the wooden A-frame cabins, which are beautiful and feel so unique. They look especially magical in the evening with the colorful star lights and the warm, inviting glow from the mosaic wall lamps. The whole place is surrounded by nature and lush greenery, but it still has all the modern comforts you need for a comfortable stay. What really sold us on this property was how thoughtful and kid-friendly the setup is. My boy and girl were absolutely obsessed with the vibrant outdoor garden areas. There are fun, brightly painted terraces, cool animal statues, and forest murals that gave the kids plenty of space to run around and explore safely. They also spent hours in the swimming pool, which has a great little waterfall feature and a shallow section perfect for them to splash in. Meanwhile, the adults could just kick back on the outdoor swings or relax in the shaded seating areas and take in the view. The facilities and service were excellent. Having access to a shared kitchen area was a total lifesaver for preparing quick meals and snacks, and the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. Plus, the location in Valakode is tucked away and peaceful, far from the noisy traffic, but still close enough to local attractions like the Mahadeva Temple. I highly recommend this spot if you want a relaxing, beautiful, and hassle-free trip with the family. We'll definitely be back! Quick Highlights: Best for: Family trips, peaceful nature escapes. Top Amenities: Clean swimming pool, outdoor play areas, kitchen access, and fast Wi-Fi. Vibe: Cozy, colorful, and welcoming.

Calm and quite property for families Daily upkeep is not happening in the property. Kitchen is dusty and stained. Curtains are all dirt and stained. Fans look like black due to dust.

Only 1 problem is food.no good hotels nearby this cottage 500mts away 2 hotels are there but food quality is bad, otherwise we can prepare in this cottage that's better option,

• Karthik (9/5): Nice place to chill out with your gang - Location, facilities, help extended by host. Cleanliness was okay, but can be improved.
• Pradeep (7/5): A pleasant location - Nature friendly, surrounding atmosphere is very cool. Don't see everything as business and show some humanity. Whether to book a room directly or through booking.com is up to everyone's choice. It is not right to tell the guest to cancel the booking and leave the room while talking on the phone, whether it is the caretaker or the owner.
