• Roman (2/5): Overpriced and not matching the photos - Friendly lady who managed breakfast Double room is completely different from the pictures: much smaller, old furniture and outdated appliances. Price is extremely high for what you get. Host, old man, who checked us in looked/acted like drunk. The interior is for specific liking - it’s actually a house of a family with lots of family pictures, trophies, etc inside. There are much better options in the area in terms of value, and generally in perception.

• Dieter (6/5): Kann man machen, wenn es keine Alternative gibt. - Wir wurden von einer Angestellten höflich empfangen. Der Wirt war nett und rustikal. Das Frühstück war sehr ordentlich. Es war alles sehr einfach und in die Jahre gekommen, jedoch alles funktioniert. Das Problem war, dass der Preis für diese Unterkunft deutlich zu hoch war. Wenn man frühzeitig bucht, nicht so wie wir, gibt es in Galtür sicherlich auf diesem Preisniveau etwas Besseres.

• Helena (6/5): Für Ischgl gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis, aber nichts besonderes. - Die Lage war sehr gut für ein Ischgl-Trip. Außerdem war der Check-In sehr unkompliziert. Die ganze Unterkunft (außer unser Zimmer) hat stark nach Rauch gestunken. Das hat uns persönlich nicht so viel ausgemacht, allerdings wenn man geruchsempfindlich ist würde ich von dieser Unterkunft abraten.

• Johanna (1/5): A bad experience, we didn’t stay the night but left. - Horrific experience, the owner was drunk and acted inappropriately towards our group. The rooms smelled. We didn’t stay the night because our whole group felt unease with the behaviour of the owner and we have made a claim to the hotel to pay back the money. We had to find another hotel last minute and luckily did. It was not a good experience and wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here unfortunately. The rooms smelled bad and they smoke inside here.

• Anja (6/5): Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach, wir hatten aber trotzdem viel Spaß. - Die Lage war sehr gut. Man konnte ohne Probleme mit dem Skibus ins Skigebiet fahren. Man konnte gut am Haus parken. Die Unterkunft war sehr rustikal. Das Frühstück leider sehr einfach. Es gab gar kein Ost und kein Gemüse. Die Frühstücksdame war aber sehr freundlich und bemüht.

• Katrin (9/5): - die pension liegt super zentral,-5 min vom ortskern entfernt.man kann alles zu fuss unternehmen.bushaltestelle gleich in der nähe.zimmer sind serh gemütlich und sauber.man bekommt ausreichendes frühstück mit allem was man sich wünscht.der gastgeber ist sehr freundlich, lustig .man wird herzlich empfangen, ist auch gern bereit über galtür, das dorfleben, seine rinderzucht zu plaudern.man erfährt intressantes über das leben und den alltag im wundershönen galtür.sehr gemütliche, familäre pension.

• Robert (10/5): Wer Ischgl in der Nähe haben möchte und nicht zu lange beim Apress Ski ist ist hier gut aufeghoben. - Sehr freundlicher Chef, der immer für ein Schnapserl zu haben ist 🙂 Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist optimal, wenn man mit normalem Standard zufrieden ist. Sauberkeit, Wärme und Freundlichkeit sind uns wichtig – und all das war hier gegeben.

• Gabriele (1/5): Katastrophe. Auf jeden Fall woanders buchen in Galtür. - Gar nichts ! Das Zimmer war winzig klein, die sanitären Anlagen uralt. Das Frühstück hätten wir uns selber machen sollen. Aus der Dusche kam nur kaltes Wasser. Die Matratze hing schon nur beim Draufsetzen auf den Boden hinab, war also auch uralt. Kurzum: Wir reisten noch am gleichen Abend wieder ab - bei 2 Stunden Heimweg ging das gerade noch. So etwas habe ich als langjährige Nutzerin von booking.com noch nie erlebt ! Immerhin hat booking auf meine Beschwerde reagiert, sich der Sache angenommen und sogar eine kleine Prämie als Gutschein gewährt.

The host, a local farmer, runs the place with a genuine warmth and hospitality that you rarely come across these days. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like old friends—with a big smile, kind eyes, and a level of generosity that made us feel right at home. While there were some minor language barriers, they did not detract in the slightest from the experience. In fact, they only added to the authenticity and heartwarming nature of our stay. The host’s kindness, patience, and good humour transcended any need for perfect translation. Through gestures, smiles, and a few shared words, we always understood each other perfectly. The setting is peaceful and authentic, offering a true glimpse into rural life and the beauty of local tradition. You can tell this is not just a business, but a heartfelt extension of the family’s way of life. Every detail—from the homemade touches in the breakfast to the thoughtfully prepared rooms—reflects the pride and care they put into their home. • Elod (1/5): Owner canceled last minute and was sending us humiliating messages. - The owner let us know two hours before our arrival that we did not have our room available anymore. He did offer us to stay in his own personal apartment while he sleeps in the office, but this was not acceptable for us. He also texted us obscene messages at around 2 AM in the morning. Quote: I have more idiots like you in the house. Screenshot as proof.

• Hannah (6/5): Ok for a few nights, wouldn’t stay longer. Felt a bit uncomfortable with he host. - The view from the apartment was nice and they have their own parking spots in front of the house. We booked the three bed apartment. The host did not know that we will be 3 people and the third bed needed to be made. Sadly the bathroom was not really clean, the dishes had fatty fingerprints on them and the cutlery was dirty as well.

• Lucy (2/5): Unsafe and not suitable for young solo female travelers - There's not much to like about this stay as the owner really tainted the whole experience for me. The rooms were clean and location are the only good points I can add On entering the house smelt of cigarettes as the owner and his friends were all smoking in the kitchen. I was sexually harassed by the owner which I have approached Booking about and am surprised they have not taken it seriously. This property shouldn't still be listed as it hasn't been checked properly by booking and if you are a young female solo traveler it is definitely not safe to stay here as the owner is sexually inappropriate. I have done alot of solo travel and never have I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable, so much that I had to stay in alternative accommodation. In my new accommodation I found out the owner is well known in the village for having a liking of young females, being drunk and sexually in appropriate. A total waste of money that I didn't get refunded for and this property should be taken off.

• Cristine (7/5): Quiet and very comfortable stay. - The parking lot is right in front of the hotel. The service is very nice. Very very Comfortable beds. The owner demanded 240€ just for an extra bed, which the most expensive room we rented of four costed 140€!
• Kristian (4/5): Disappointing - Friendly host The room was not cleaned ok The linen and towels were not pleasant The smell of cigarettes was overwhelming - and I had to have window open all night since the room was placed just over the kitchen/office where staff was smoking. That it mind that the place is a cheaper option - but the above things are the least that should be ok.
