- Rosealene (8/5): Marathon 2026 - Not far for shops etc and location waz key for us and peacefull on the river Nothing

- Zoran (3/5): Schmutzig. - Nichts Schmutzig. Insbesondre Badezimmer. Kein Wasserdruck.
- Nikoleta (10/5): -
- Milena (3/5): Our experience was very disappointing. The cleanliness was unacceptable, the beds were uncomfortable - We liked the location and that there was a parking available. The experience was extremely disappointing. The cleanliness was shockingly poor, far below any acceptable standard, with visible dirt and grime in multiple areas. The facilities were poorly maintained, and it felt neglected and unkempt.
The beds were covered with plastic, making them extremely uncomfortable to sleep on.
We would definitely not recommend this property to anyone.

- Mark (10/5): Great stay, good location - It’s cheap, bottled water in the fridge. Good location.
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Emmanuel (7/5): Nice place to stay. - I did not have breakfast
- Riku (6/5): Needs a cleaner otherwise pretty nice! - Nice location! Quite short walk to tube, so the city center was easy to reach. There is also a very short walk to a pier boat for travelling along Thames. Good restaurants nearby. The room and public areas in the house were quite untidy. The place seemed like it could use a good clean up.

- Ratier (9/5): - Nicely located, nice place, great view. Easy check-in. While bed is quite comfy, it's quite narrow and very short, not great for taller people like me (6" and taller)
- Zoran (3/5): Nuf für Not - Nix Sauberkeit
- Elżbieta (1/5): Avoid this place at any rate, even if it means finding something a bit more pricy. - The only thing I liked was the location. The place was absolutely filthy.
You are required to take off your shoes at the bottom of the stairs but the stairs are covered in dirt. I was not able to use the pillow as the cover was stained. The bathroom walls were covered in mould and dirt. The bathroom was so dirty that I ended up using my wet wipes.
The wors of all however is tha fact that I was bitted by bed bugs, which was very painful. When I contacted the host about it, she did not show any interest in my wellbeing or compensation.
- Alain (5/5): Passable - The view was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom
- Lee (7/5): Good -
- Alan (1/5): It’s a dump. And should state its shared - Nothing Everything
- Kryštof (1/5): Avoid this place - The location is great, although difficult to access via public transport The property is so dirty!! And poorly maintained
- Fraser (8/5): Very good -
- Syed (9/5): Very friendly and welcoming and friendly landlady; enjoyed my stay enormously. - Very clean and tidy and very comfortable house; with lots of snacks and b/fast items! It was a small room for a double bed but warm and comfy and with bright sunlight if you undraw the curtain and fresh air of the Thames, although the bed was very comfortable. Very accessible to Canada Waters Station and nearby Thames barge stop and lovely refreshing walkway along the Thames. Would love to visit again, when in London and availability! My only query was that the checkout was emailed by Booking.com for 11am, but the note in the room indicated 10am; clarity required ? Otherwise very friendly, professional, and welcoming landlady with a big heart!
- Selvam (10/5): Exceptional - It's hard to get affordable accommodation in London. Sue's house is a perfect place for a solo or a couple. She is an amazing person providing all the help that you need around there. View of river thames is not just a view. It's an experience. It's just 15 ft away from the house. It is easily accessible via ferry and buses. Pocket friendly and reasonably comfortable. Nothing much.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Value for money - Location
- Colin (9/5): Superb - good room clean with good facilities for my needs excellent communication with the owner 10 min walk to buses
- Patrick (8/5): Very good - location was beautiful rug in bedroom a bit dirty
- James (4/5): Disappointing - the location was convenient especially if you're going to the o2 room was dirty and dusty, the floor wasn't clean and we tried the biscuits for the tea and coffee and they were stale so clearly had been there a while and the beds weren't that comfortable
- John (10/5): excellent value for money - location was brilliant
host was brilliant
price was brilliant furniture could so with updating
took a while to get tv to work
bathroom was intidy
- Darren (3/5): Poor -
- Darren (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mark (10/5): Nice place for city - Location The shower
- Arnika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (5/5): Basic accommodation with basic facilities, sharing with family/host. - View of the Thames Very basic accommodation in a family home with basic facilities available. Quite a distance from tube station but Greenland Surrey Quay quite close for river services.
- Iliane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noah (6/5): Cheap and easy accommodation in great spot. - Cheap and afforable! Nothing luxury, but it was good for a weekend Tad dirty and cluttered. Beds were not the most comfortable. Had trouble getting in at first
- Nutt (7/5): Will be looking forward to staying again - Very good location for canary wharf Left very much to own devices saw very little of proprietor
- Julia (5/5): I would stay again for 1 night only at the price I paid. - good location for a visit to the O2 with great transport links . It was a fair price, ideal for a 1 night stay. Good to have a fridge in the room and appreciated the bottles of water. When I contacted the owner as we were running late for check-in, she was very friendly and helpful. A bit dusty in areas and could do with an update. As we were basically in the room for nothing other than sleeping and getting changed, the facilities didn't really bother us but had we been staying longer I would have been disappointed.
- Elhemaly (4/5): The bedroom and bathroom are dirty -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Superb location on the south bank of the Thames, in easy walking distance of public transport links for days out exploring London.
- Deborah (2/5): Dissapointing experience. Refund of half required immediately. - Location is quite and has a lovely view of the River. The room was dirty, old linen provided, fridge tiny and not ideal for long stays, kitchen filthy and not able to use washing machine unless you paid extra, room was tiny and unsuitable to rent to a person with luggage for a long stay. Bathroom towels where supplied once in 30 days and not replaced by her daily, so bring your own. Bed linen not provided weekly so you had to take off your own linen, rechange your bedding once she had washed it, and not supplied to you weekly. Old mats in bedroom and bathroom that were filthy. Cupboard so small you could not hang up clothes. Overpriced. The two bed room was bigger and more pricey.
Good things were a supplied kettle, iron, hairdryer and coffee cup.
- Kim (6/5): Pleasant - The location was amazing right on the river. It was a bit of a walk from the bus but luckily the weather was ok. The hostess was lovely and the price for the room was very reasonable. It's such a shame that the house lacks a little TLC, but I guess you get what you pay for and it was better than expected for the money paid. The rooms were cluttered and not very clean.
- Mélissa (7/5): Nice stay for 1 night - The vost was very welcoming. She prepared some snacks and water in our room. Long delay of answers, communication could be better.
We were supposed to have the seaview but didn't.
- Janine (3/5): Totally misrepresented by booking.com -
- Carmen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anton (3/5): Poor -
- Antoine (7/5): Good - Quiet Nothing
- Mark (8/5): was good location for work - location was good being so close to canary wharf... it did not smell, was clean the house is a little lived in but reasonably tidy.
- Mark (10/5): Clean room, near canary wharf - Its clean, good location for canary wharf. Took longer than expected to get in.
- Mark (10/5): Clean room - The room was clean Nothing…
- Joe (8/5): Very good -
- Michelle (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wik394 (4/5): Dirty - Location was good First - the bathroom wasn't private - in the description it was said it's private.
Second - the amount of dust and dirt from the very first day... It was everywhere - on the floor, in the bathroom and so on...
Third - the towels were humid all the time, they didnt have time to dry because there was no good air circulation.
I wouldn't book it again.
- Muhammad (8/5): Very good -
- Marek (7/5): A good choice for lowcost travelers - * view on a river
* small but sufficient room
* friendly owner
* a price
*microwave, kettle and refrigenerator in a room (very practical)
* a lot of plug adaptors
*TV and wifi * mattress covered with a plastic bag (basicaly whole bed was in a plastic bag)...so as a result you were quite wet each morning (and forced to listen rustling of a plastic bag)
*tiny steeam of water in a shower and cleaningness of a floor in a bathroom could be better
- Nicholas (7/5): Comfortable and a nice area - The location of the property was pleasant .The view across the Thames was impressive .We had to get the bus to our place of work which was very easy .There was a Wetherspoons within 15 min walk .The room was just big enough for 2 people as it was a twin .Not sure if there was parking available as we left the vehicle at our place of work. Tea and coffee selection was nice and there was a microwave in the room .The area was quite and we slept well The front of the property could do with a tidy up .The bathroom was acceptable but confusing with two showers .There was a TV on the wall that didn't have an aerial to it so did not work .
- Sofía (9/5): Thank you so much for having me Sue, you were extremely kind and thoughtful in the way you greet and care for your guest -
- Josiah (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (5/5): Overall does the job for a short stay - Host was excellent, very accommodating and the free parking was a bonus. There was a lot of facilities for a small room which were well used by previous guests. Location was secure and quiet. Property was advertised with a private bathroom. NOT THE CASE. The bathroom is shared by all the rooms and is not private. We would not have booked if we had known. Being on the 3rd floor was a bind
- Huseyin (7/5): Good - The night view was amazing. Sue was very friendly and helpful. Could be more clean.
- Nadezhda (1/5): The host was not expecting us and didn't let us in - We booked a room and the system confirmed the reservation. We got to the place around 7.30pm. It was pitch dark and the entrance didn't look like the one in the pictures. We phoned the owner and she told us that she did not see our reservation and suggested we solve the issue with booking.com. And then she hang up.
The support staff member told us that he saw our reservation and that it was valid.
We had a couple of unpleasant hours: the place is rather far from the tube station and we were waiting for booking.com to find us another option.
They did and we had to pay for it. Later they returned the price difference in bonus points, not actual money. We also got a full refund for the first reservation.
I can confirm that the support staff really helped us though it could be done a lot quicker.
- Liz (3/5): Room review. - The lights on the stairs..
The mechanism to flash toilet.
The room was spacious. Our initial booking was the room with the view facing the river which was changed .
The beds were very uncomfortable host has used plastic polythene to cover mattresses which makes it slippery.
The head board was making noise each time I turned this made my sleep uncomfortable.
The bed had a black liner we could not know if it was changed after other guests using the bed.
The towels were very old and lost colour looking like floor rugs , grey and creams colours.
The dovet covers colours were cream with flowers.
- Gianni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taiwo (9/5): Superb -
- Lina (8/5): Definitely coming back 👍 - Very friendly place☺️ Amazing view 🤯
Walking distance to shops, pizza, bowling, and nice lovely parks.
5-10 minutes to uber river, bus stop and tube station.
Thank you Sue for having us 🤗 and for tasty apples 🍏🍏🍏
