Guest Reviews
- Yasmine (10/5): - The hotel was lovely, the room was very clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly too, highly recommend. The noise from the seagulls and no breakfast
- Paul (8/5): - Good location and welcoming host Nothing
- Steve (8/5): -
- Gáti Gábor (10/5): -
- Huxley (8/5): Very happy, unfortunately the weather let me down on one of the days, but it's Wales and you have to - Not applicable Terrestrial tv channels, catch up with news and sports events
- Luke (8/5): Very good - The room was a great size and very clean and comfortable Bathroom door was was a bit difficult to close
- Megan (6/5): Central location and comfortable, spacious room. - Very central. Clean and spacious room. It was comfortable. The host was friendly, although his English was limited. The entrance was not great - you entered through a kitchen/dining room area. The smell of cooking was quite strong. The room was large, clean and comfortable, but the shower was difficult to operate (gas) and we just gave up trying to get a consistent temperature and enjoy a shower.
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Central location. Very large, comfortable room with a fridge.
Safe indoor storage for our bikes. Feels more like an Airbnb than a B&B as no staff on the premises and we had to phone when we arrived. He came very quickly though and was very pleasant.
- Richardson (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (10/5): the couple running place were excellent very helpful made our stayxxx - Very clean and comfy. All good

- Wood (8/5): All was acceptable for one nights stay. - Location was very central. A little difficult to find the accommodation as frontage was quite plain with a very small name sign outside.
- Melinda (9/5): Superb - Location
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional - The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Check-in was very easy and the rooms had everything you need for stay Nothing
- Anonymous (6/5): All good once you get over the stress of finding it. - The room was large and bathroom was very good and it was all clean. The bed was ok. It was very difficult to find as the sign was tiny. No parking and the first impression when you walk in was not great (owners kitchen)
- Georgia (5/5): Not great - Great central location, quick and easy to check in and out. Lowest price around, which was the main selling point The shower was either cold or boiling water, and did not regulate to a normal shower temperature. There were no curtains, only white blinds which did not block out the sunlight or street lights.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (8/5): Nice place to stay for a weekend at the beach - The location was very convenient to the high street and the seafront. The room was a good size and had a comfortable bed. The check-in process was fairly straightforward, and the staff were polite and friendly. The property did not have any parking, and this was not completely clear on the listing. Local parking at a pay and display nearby was within walking distance of the location.
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - The room was larger than expected. Close to the center. The blinds did not block out the lights, and could prefer curtains.
- Radoslaw (10/5): Exceptional - Great rooms in the city center, next to a local pub and beach.Kitchen available with full equipment. Breakfast right next door if you want to buy food . Rooms very clean and warm with coffee and tea facilities. Great view of the sea. The host is a wonderful person, very helpful and polite, we had a small problem, but thanks to her kindness the stay turned out to be warm and safe. I really recommend it. Thank you for a great stay! Nothing.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robbie (9/5): Superb - Very clean and comfortable. Friendly host. In room 1 only half of the bathroom window is frosted (the bottom half). The top half is regular glass and there is a little balcony at the back that other guests have access to that overlooks the bathroom. Therefore we couldn't use the toilet when someone was on the balcony. This issue can be easily fixed by replacing the top section of the window with frosted glass. Everything else was great.
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional - The room was really clean. The bed was so comfortable and the lady who runs the hotel can't do enough for you. Nothing
- D53iam (8/5): Comfortable - There was an old house smell when entering the house but the room smelled fresh enough, it was clean and comfortable enough. Tea coffee and biscuits on hand. A little fridge which was a nice touch. There was a little road noise but it didn't affect our sleep. All in all I was happy with my stay here and I would have no issues coming back.
- Emma (10/5): Friendly and welcoming. Clean, private and spacious. Would love to stay here again. Thank you - Clean and spacious
- Karan (9/5): Superb -
- Charles (7/5): Good - Missing skirting in bathroom
Having to walk up 2 flights of stairs
- Hazel (10/5): Exceptionally fabulous Guest House. - The guest house is absolutely spotless. ex eptionally clean, incredibly well maintained and exceptionally lovely and the facilities, are brilliant. This is the best accommodation on Booking. com that we have stayed in. we didn't dislike anything.
The only thing I need to mention is that there is no parking at the property, but this did no impact our stay at all though. We thoroughly recommend.
- Ian (9/5): Superb -

The weather was not helping..
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Susan (9/5): Do not book if your disabled,it’s all stairs - Great location Not easy to find, name of the property should be made more prominent
- Chelsea (10/5): Lovely hosts who go above and beyond, super comfy bed in a great location! - The bed was super comfy, the room is really spacious and clean and in a great location! Nothing!
- Andrew (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ewan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, around the corner from a co op and few min walk to beach. The host was very friendly and welcoming, beds very comfortable, and the room was very clean and decent size just what I needed. Thank you for a lovely stay, definitely will be back next year
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Martin (5/5): This is not a Bed and Breakfast as advertised. - I liked the fact that I was close to all amenities and transport options. The accommodation was not what I had expected. I had booked this because it was marketed as a Bed and Breakfast. In truth it is only a Guest House so there was no breakfast laid on. Obviously this means I have paid more money than it should be worth, but on top of that I have also had to spend more buying breakfast every morning. In total I believe I have spent about £120 the top for this accommodation, but nobody will take responsibility for that and actually offer me a refund. There was no breakfast, despite me paying for Bed and Breakfast. I did not know when booking this that it would turn out to be just a guest house so that would have been nice to know. If I had been made aware of this before booking I would have chosen to stay elsewhere.
- Hilary (7/5): Good -
- Jamie (8/5): Very good -
- Jones (8/5): great location. very clean and comfortable - great location no parking
was difficult to find the place - couldnt see namesigns etc
- Bishop (10/5): Exceptional - What a fantastic place, lovely big room nice friendly host great location highly recommend 😀
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andy (8/5): Excellent place to stay in Barmouth close to all main amenities - Location was fine and close to main area, lack of parking close though only issue (no solution to this as property situated on main narrow road). Very friendly welcome. Only lack of parking.
- Harpreet (10/5): The most beautiful place with the most beautiful host - The host is the most darling, lovely women. She was so polite and kind from the moment we stepped foot on the property to the minute we left. So accommodating and the room was perfect and so clean and comfortable. Ours included an en suite which we loved. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Everything is within minutes walk from the accommodation. It was a beautiful weekend away 💗
- Steven (9/5): Superb - Good room size and provisions.. Comfortable bed. Clean room. No parking at the property. Saw the host only once on arrival. Be aware it's a guest house only and not b&b.
- Cezar (6/5): If nothing else is available - Staff was nice, location was pretty central but no parking. Seagull nesting area, constant noise. The building has an issue with mold or just dampness. Very powerful damp smell at the first 2 floors followed by cigarette smell. The staff was nice and welcoming and the room was pretty big. Tiny toilet and very low watter pressure shower.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional - The room was very clean and comfortable
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - Comfy bed clean and lovely owner All good
- Simon (9/5): Superb - Clean, comfortable and pleasant owner
- Mark (5/5): Average - Location Description did not match Hotel
- Macrina (8/5): Very good - Large spacious clean room and very central
- Grace (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Welcoming host.
Very clean and comfortable
- Kate (8/5): Very good - We were able to safely store our bikes which was really appreciated, and also had use of the kitchen. Better signage on the outside.
- Michelle (9/5): Lovely airy room - Great location Thought they could have a better sign , we walked past it a few times
The shower wasn’t good , it was too hot or too cold !!
- Simon (7/5): Nice place but don’t stay on top floor. - Clean room, friendly host. Seagulls on 3rd floor outside my windows all night.
Didn’t get much sleep.
- Rudge (8/5): Great value stay in the center - The location is great and the whole place is spotlessly clean The mattress is poor and the blinds are cheap. Both impeded a good nights sleep
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice stay, excellent staff, lovely location. Perfect
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, lovely staff and a super comfy bed!
- Hannah (9/5): Excellent stay! - Location was brilliant and the host was very welcoming. Room was very clean and had everything we needed including towels, a fan, hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities. Room could have done with heavier curtains / blinds as it was quite bright in the morning.
- Darren (9/5): Superb -
- Jodie (1/5): Told sea view there wasn’t any… all we could see was a roof full of seagulls - No breakfast offered Toilet and shower in bedroom with only glass door on them
- Vaughan (8/5): Very nice welcome and clean accommodation so close to the centre of town. - The room was airy, well appointed, clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. The position in town made the stay convenient and allowed us to take in many activities during our stay. Coffee/Tea making facilities good and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The room was on the fourth floor and it's quite a climb with a suitcase. The carpet in the bathroom was close to the toilet and I felt a little uncomfortable with it's hygiene. The noise from the road was not great and the lack of air conditioning meant that we had to use the noisy fan all night.
- Samantha (9/5): The location was fantastic - a stones throw from the beach. Extremely clean. Owner was lovely and there were beautiful l - The location was fantastic. The room was very clean. Wonderful little touches to the property. Would definitely recommend. The water pressure was a little poor and the blinds allowed quite a bit of light in.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rod (9/5): Superb -
- Kurek (9/5): Touring Wales, just one night, but perfect for us - Central location Key code didn’t work, but owner came to door
- Nigel (7/5): Enjoyable and relaxing stay in Barmouth - Close to the centre of Barmouth yet quiet at night. Spacious room and very clean. Nice to have facilities such kettle etc & toiletries. The frontage isn’t appealing.. in the room we were in a solid door between the room and the bathroom would have helped privacy.
- Tegan (8/5): Pleasant roomy lodgings - Clean and roomy Shower was a bit temperamental
- Tayla (9/5): Superb -
- Anthony (9/5): Very comfortable with a good host - The property was very clean and modern. It was very comfortable with high-quality consumables. How host did everything she could to make us feel relaxed and enjoy your holiday. We were walking the Wales coast sections from Pwllheli to Fairbourne Everything was good
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place, very clean, comfortable, big room, definitely good value for money, and very close to everything, well worth it.
- Audrey (9/5): Lovely - Location brilliant and so clean Nothing
- Sally-anne (10/5): Exceptional - This was certainly great value for money. The room was more like a small apartment and there were some lovely little touches. Fabulous place to stay.
- Nikki (8/5): Comfortable and clean. Eve was lovely and I would stay again - Room was spacious and clean. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Really liked this as didn’t have to ask for more. Only thing I didn’t like was the blinds. With street light outside window it just made it to bright for me. Maybe a screen to go by shower for a bit more privacy
- Jan (8/5): Overall very enjoyable stay, with guest house in excellent location. - Location excellent. Room was large, comfortable and exceptionally clean. The shower cubicle was small, with very poor flow of water. Difficult to regulate shower temperature.
- Harriet (8/5): Very good -
- Brattyz (8/5): Would definitely stay again - Very spacious room
- Martin (7/5): Good - Spacious room, big comfortable bed, but a bit quirky - nothing quite matched, shower opened into the room, glass toilet door.. TV only Prime, decent blinds to block out the bright road lamppost light, another comfy chair, clear instructions on how heating worked, no on site parking and which could be tricky in high season
- Powell (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and clean, and so close to the town.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - N/a N/A
- Lesley (3/5): Don't bother - It was clean The light on the stairs doesn't come on in time. I tripped up and hurt my wrist when I landed as it was dark and I couldn't see the steps. The blinds do not keep the light out and the rain dripped by the window all night. To make matters worse there is no bathroom just a shower leading into the bedroom and a toilet with a see through door!
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- T (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable room, tea and coffee always available
