- Amanda (4/5): Disappointing - Good location Upon arrival, we were informed that the host had already rented out the accommodation we had booked. Instead, he offered us a larger, more expensive house (with two rooms rather than one) but asked us to cover the difference in cost. When we declined, he insisted that we thoroughly clean the house before leaving to avoid him hiring a cleaning service, so that he does not “lose money” by renting out the larger home for a smaller sum. Keep in mind, the house had no toilet paper, towels, trash cans, hand soap, dish soap or any other amenities/essentials. He also asked us not to use the air conditioning, the couch, the extra room, or all the lights to minimize costs. Although the house itself was nice, the overall experience was unsatisfactory. We felt uncomfortable due to the numerous demands and were disappointed to learn about the unavailability of our original booking only upon arrival, rather than being informed beforehand. We advise potential guests to exercise caution, ensure the price is agreed upon in TND (in writing) before arriving, and confirm all details in advance.
